We were nicely greated by the host staff. We were told that there was a 15 minute wait and so sat just outside the door, which also happened to be near a large dumpster. There were several members of the kitchen staff taking a break by said dumpster and one decided to mark is territory right there and then. The place is really outdated, carpets everywhere. We were seated next to the kitchen, it did not look clean, there was a large piece of meat sitting out on the counter the whole time we were there. We ordered and the service was fairly good. So at this point we were thinking, 3 stars. The portions are small and the dishes are over priced. AND THEN, a giant cockroach walks by my feet all the way to the hallway, right next to the kitchen. That sealed the fate of bull shed restaurant.

Had someone recommend coming here before we left. Had seen it on yelp but just hadn't decided to come. When you get here- from the parking lot go to the left as the front door us not easily seen. The hosts will take you down an hallway to the restaurant and bar. The decor is dated and the tables and chairs are worn. The positive side is it's close to the ocean with windows all around. One of the closer seatings to the water we've had here. (My wife thought this would be a good place for Restaurant Impossible to do a renovation on.) Now the food. We weren't super hungry so we skipped the appetizer. I did see the stuffed mushrooms. They looked like what you would expect. We added salads to our entrée s for a fee extra dollars. Not mind blowing but a good steak house salad. Their complimentary bread was very good. Soft and tasty. I had planned on a steak, but when our server said the fish of the day was Opah, I changed my mind. It was simply grille with a garlic butter spread on it served with rice. Omg- was amazing. So good. My wife loved her filet with a baked potato. Cooked a perfect medium rare. They definitely know how to treat a fine piece of meat! We decided to try the "Oh Shed" chocolate cake. (Thier signature dessert.) Super moist and chocolaty. We only had a few bites and took most of it to the hotel for later. So good! Rivals the best desserts on the island. Place was busy and seems that the have regulars, locals and tourists here. Great place if you want a steak. Staff were all friendly. Helpful and hard working.

Best prime rib I've ever had. It's a thick cut (about 2 inches after cooked) and the meat is so so tender. I wish I knew the secret. Have it grilled for that charred flavor!

Were here on February 14, 2022, the only negative, we waited on the street for our table for more than 2 hours, then what is the point of the reservation?! And everything else was great! Live music, good service, beautiful ocean view and of course delicious food! We stayed at the ISO Hotel and the location was great!

Waitress was great but i asked for a diet pepsi ir diet soda and she brought a cup with a weird oily film over the top that I thought it was a wine or juice drink that she brought to the wrong table. My bf took a sip and said it was diet but i couldn't drink it. I then asked for water and she brought a water glass that then tasted like a lil clorox at the bottom. But id rather drink that then film. We ordered the scallops, the lobster and the filet minion. The filet minion was rare when he asked for medium rare. So the haf to take it back to cook more. The scallops were over cooked and gummy. And the lobster was cold. Im not goin back to that restaurant sorry to say. Food way over priced for the quality. The Bill was $140

Prime rib was amazing. So good, we ordered another for tomorrow night at our condo! Value was also incredible. Excellent happy hour from 4:30-5:30 for drinks - and a VERY healthy pour of wine. Pasta dish was good - a little heavy. Salad was fine - nothing special at all. Place was tired - including bathrooms - but view was incredible.

Went here w/ family the other night for the first time. Wow the portions are HUGE and everything tasted delicious. My only complaint would have been the running mint jello for the lamb, but outside of that it was great food and a great time w/ family

The tenderloin kabob was very good. The Prime Rib bone-in was excellent and make sure you ask for the Texas sear, it trapped in so much flavor and juices. The artichoke dip appetizer was also very good. Our waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable and was very outgoing and provided excellent service.

Absolutely the best prime rib I had in kauai. Just the way I ordered. Medium rare and finished off on the grill. Very fast. Service was impeccable. The table I was sitting at had a great view of the ocean. The bad, Absolutely worst baked potato I have ever had, very dry and skin was tough but didn’t warrant less than 4 star.

Everything my husband and I had here was amazing. It was a very nice place, and had a bit of a wait, but it was definitely worth it. Our waitress was very nice and fast as well. I had the lamb and it was delicious. Also, the desert was gigantic and very rich but I loved it. It is a more upscale place, so it is a bit pricey. Between the two of us my husband and I had an appetizer, two entrees, a dessert, and 6 cocktails, and it was about $240. We will definitely come back next time we are on Kauai

The Bull Shed is a great place for special occasions! They do not open until 5, but come at 4:30 because there is a long line to get in. Finally, go there for the seafood and not the meat. Best italian dressing I've ever had!

Bull Shed provided us with an amazing Christmas Dinner. Their steaks and prime rib were cooked perfectly to temperature. The service was outstanding as well. It was great to see they had a large wine selection and a full bar.

Steaks were good, service was very friendly and attentive. The huge chocolate cake dessert was ridiculous (in all the good ways).

Stuffed mushrooms and Filet mignon with garlic butter and baked potato. Very flavorful and cooked to perfection. One of our favorite places here. Outdoor seating with amazing views and sounds of the ocean.

We ordered two steaks and both were really tasty, but the prime rib was definitely the best. The place is nice, the music is good and the service was great. We really enjoyed. Highly recommend!

Amazing food, drinks and service!!!!! One of our favorite places on island. Scallop appetizer was delicious with about 8 scallops.The full order of prime rib is 24oz. , Much more massive than my photo represents. The shrimp scampi pasta was amazing. They loved the steak & lobster. The chocolate cake was one of the best!!! This place is very local with great views,

I tried their pasta special and it was great. The sauce was perfectly salted and complemented the dish perfectly. The noodles were cooked to perfection and the shrimp, mushrooms, and scallops were well-seasoned and taste great! I also tried their lamb chops and they were good as well. The meat was tender and cooked to perfection, and the flavor was juicy and the attention to detail in every dish. Overall, I had an outstanding experience at Bull Shed Restaurant and would highly recommend it to anyone

We tried this place as it was close to our hotel and had great reviews. The reviews do not disappoint. The food was delicious and the service was great too! The salads for an extra $2 were also a nice addition. The desserts looked so good but we were all so full afterwards that we unfortunately did not try any.

Good food, good service, but where we were seated, there were no screens on the windows, so we had a few visitors throughout our dinner it was annoying.

Highly recommended to me and I'll back that 100%. 1 week we have been here twice. Our amazing server said they compete with Dukes- we went there too and we would pick Bull Shed with no hesitation over and over again. The food, not only looked amazing but tasted better. Everyone is so friendly and not just on a "looking for a tip" nice but genuinely kind. EVEN the Virgin drinks we got were well made blended to perfection and full of flavor.

Had a great experience with exceptional service and absolutely delicious food. 😋 Stay for dessert and enjoy the Holy Shed cake 👍🏼

Had birthday dinner there. Was okay definitely not the best but I did like little cubbie hole they sat us in great ocean side view. Nice waitress.
