Was supposed to go to BGC for dinner but got lazy due to traffic. Found this restaurant on Google maps since we were looking for something different. We've been around the area before and tried other nearby places but never even noticed this. The entrance is small and sign is not really eye catching. The place can fit 20 people maximum. Only 1 waitress who was busy addressing all the tables and even going on the phone to probably get online orders too. We patiently waited as she seemed to do her best to and even refilled our water several times without us asking. We ordered Bhaji Fritters, Chicken Biryani and Butter Chicken. Was pleasantly surprised with the food since it was very flavourful, plated well and each one different from the other 😋 The place did not disappoint and would definitely come back to try other dishes. They accepted GCASH which was convenient. Bill was around P1,000 for 2 people, including service charge. Was super full and went home happy 😋

Excellent place, one of the best for Indian food in Manila! The menu represents street food with other dishes, including south Indian choices and Biryanis. The biryani was especially tasty, but all of the food was delicious. Service was very friendly as well. Highly recommend a visit!

Been here a few times pre-pandemic and was excited to return with some friends recently. The food is as delicious as I remembered! Quality and taste has not changed, and dare I say, it got even better! Some must-try items for first timers are the Pani Puri, Palak Paneer, and Butter Chicken. Their Dum Biryanis are unique too with the naan bread cooked on top as a cover, locking in all that steam and good flavor. The only downside to this place is the space. It's kind of small inside and the concrete walls don't lend for a quiet meal. It echoes quite a lot, especially when you're seated against the wall, which is all of the seats 😂. Our table even got scolded by the next table because we got too excited and loud (thanks to the yummy gin and tonics!) So maybe dates are good here, but not so much group/barkada reunions? I dunno - something to consider. All in all, Ricksha is a great place to go if you're looking for delicious authentic and affordable Indian food. Other options in the metro are quite pricey, but at Ricksha, you can eat a lot without going broke. Our table of 6 had a full meal with some drinks and dessert for about 3k pesos. Can't beat that! 😉

Brought friends here who weren’t so keen on Indian food and they loved Ricksha. We liked their butter chicken, biryani rice, samosa chaat. Thums up was also good (Indian coke). The restaurant is tiny but complete with a toilet and sink.

I had been looking for a place that serves Indian chat(street food) and hands down this is a great place to have Indian chats. The place is small but overall a very good experience. The waiters are kind and sweet. A must try for Indian food. PS: Found this place on Grab

From the outside, it looks very unassuming with a tiny parking space of 2 slots. But inside houses nicely designed interiors with multiple line art pieces on walls that houses numerous tables and an extended space further in. Tried the paneer, butter naan and tiger prawn biryani, all of which we enjoyed along with the mango Lassi. If I came back, I'd probably try other dishes.

Last time I've been to Ricksha was when they were still located in Kapitolyo. Happy to know they still have all my faves (and more) at pretty much the same rates compared to last time. The place is very homey and the owners were there to greet their guests which adds to the feels. One of my fave indian food places and will definitely go back for more.

I think they are a newly opened indian themed restaurant in the city. Menu was well created good options to serve indians. Staff also asked for food reveiw that I abviously gave. Do try their vegetable biryani that was very nice tell to make it more spicy, vegetable samosa (not a triangle shaped) filling was tasty, and bhindi fritters was not crispy but we told them it can be for next time.

Food was good especially Rogan josh mutton. As an Indian it was quite impressive to eat Indian food like this. Naan can be better. Garlic was missing in garlic naan but then it was good. Chicken biryani was also good

I've visited this restaurant for a couple of times now, and the food and staff do not disappoint. My fave dishes include the garlic naan, palak paneer, okra fries, and famous butter chicken. For their drinks, the hot chai was delicious without the spices tasting too overwhelming. The mango lassi was quite refreshing. They also offer a great selection of wines. As for the interiors, I love the creative murals that liven up the spaces as well as the soundproof purple nook. The latter is perfect for private gatherings with a lot of tea to spill.

Been wanting to try the place for sometime and finally got the opportunity to do so. Went with my hungry children. We ordered a lot of things and we all loved the butter chicken and chicken 65. Drinks and dessert were also quite nice. The service was amazing and the waitstaff were very attentive. Less stars for atmosphere because where we were seated was quite cramped. The place was not full but there were many guest just sitting around and talking. So it was noisy and we had to shout at each other for conversation.

Good food , service is ok but they seem to be hurrying us to leave as evidenced by constant removal of things...

Great Indian food that suits Filipino palette. They just had to go back and forth - on answering if the dish has nuts on it or not(s).

Had dinner here on a weekday night. Pretty packed from what I expected for a mid-week, so I knew the food would be great. Newly renovated place looks amazing, but the food is amazinger 🤣 Had the pani puri, bread platter, butter chicken, and beef vindaloo. Chai cheesecake for dessert naman. Wiped all the plates clean 🤣 Definitely coming back to try the other dishes. My mouth wanted to try more but my stomach couldn’t 🤣 Food and service was a 10/10 from start to finish! Staff was courteous, attentive, and quick to respond kahit busy. Most importantly, the bill arrived quickly unlike other restaurants in the area 🤣 only had to ask once! The owners (i think?) were also just as hands on! Even came to our table to ask how our food was.

Great little Indian joint in Manila! Amazing craft cocktails (try the margarita!) and excellent front of house service. Some dishes were better than others — we really enjoyed the Palak Paneer and Grilled fish as well as the bartered Okra and butter chicken. The Goat Dum Briyani could have been better, found the rice a bit too charred and wet. Overall a very good meal. I will be back!

I loved them when they were in Kapitolyo but i love them even more now in Greenhills! My favorites are the sundal salad, pani puri, butter chicken and biryanis! Service is awesome, staff is very attentive to your needs. Food is even better than before and ambiance is great. Love the interiors. Makes me want to stay longer because it’s so cozy and relaxing. They have lots of drink selections now too. Will definitely be back for more!

Really yummy curry and roti and naan but on the expensive side and service was so slow. My friend and I were really hungry upon arriving and it probably took us an hour to get our food, also because it took a while for our order to be taken.

Low-key yet promising Indian restaurant in Kapitolyo. Nice interiors, attentive staff, quick service. For the most part of my meal, I was alone in the restaurant (it was a Friday night). The samosas were heavy enough to be a meal on their own, paired with tamarind and mint chutneys. For the curry, I got to try the US Beef Vindaloo. I was hesitant because of the price but still tried anyway since it would have been my first time to try an actual Indian curry. It tasted great and the beef was tender, but I was a little bit disappointed because it was on the mild side. Almost like beef caldereta. I guess that’s the risk when you try to appeal more to the Filipino palate. Capped the meal with gulab jamun and it was amazing. The syrup is indeed fragrant. It’s like a tres leches ball swimming in some syrupy goodness. Must-try! Also got the plain mango lassi. Quite expensive for the serving size. Overall: good food, nice place, a bit pricey.

Good Indian food at a decent price. They have improved over the months and the flavor is at par with the big Indian restaurants in the city

Perhaps the best Indian food in Manila. Simple place with good cuisine.

In the height of the pandemic, I've always ordered here. I love it! it's decently good Indian food near out area. Although their serving of price ratio to be a bit too high, the food is of excellent quality. They would be in my weekly rotation if their servings were bigger. As a heavy eater, I'm not always willing to shell out 700 to 800 for 2 orders in a casual restaurant. I would definitely recommend this to people looking for good indian food, hope they adjust their servings. **My wife finds their servings to be "okay", and she is a light eater.

Was craving for biryani because of Uncle Roger review on biryani dishes and we just type on google maps biryani and it led us right here. Food is good as a first time diner of an Indian cusine. We love to go back here again when there is another biryani cravings and also wr want to try other indian dishes. We ordered: - Curry fries - Chicken Biryani - Gulab Jamun - Masala Dosa - Lemon soda (I recommend this because it can cleanse your taste buds after eating those cultural dishes.)
