My husband and I had a fantastic time fishing with Ocean Blue. Our guide Stephen was very knowledgeable and determent to put us onto the fish. He also listened to what we wanted to target and did his best to full fill our list of species. Jeanine was a great hostess and made sure we felt at home, we were also lucky enough to meet Angele who runs and has ownership in the business. Angele was very friendly and accommodating just like everyone else.The Trees and Fishes resort was beautiful to stay at with amazing food and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. We will most certainly be back. Thumbs up to the whole team!

Back home now from our fishing trip to Vanuatu. Loved every minute. Caught our fish we were hoping for and more. The Sail Fish was a bonus and a record for the resort. Thanks to our fishing guide Sammy and hosts Ali and Erin and all the staff at the resort. Your genuine hospitality was amazing.

We had a great time! The skippers are super knowledgeable and keen, food and accommodation were great. The staff was friendly. Highly Recommended.

My second trip with Ocean Blue. Such a magic location. The staff were fantastic and couldn't do enough to ensure we had a great stay. Stepping off the boat each day after having our arms ripped off to a few beers by the fire pit... you just can't beat it! We had to work for the fish we got but still had some great Yellowfin and Mahi come on board. I'll have to do some homework on how to land a Doggie though as we were smoked on more than a couple of occasions during a hot bite on the Saturday afternoon. Sometimes it's about more than the fishing. It's about the experience, meeting good people and spending time with good mates in a great location. Thanks again to skippers Alli and Patrick who put us on the fish and Erin who coordinated it all back onshore. Great times, see you again.

We recently stayed with Ocean Blue @ Trees and Fishes as a group of five on a Wednesday to Monday trip - fishing 3 days. The accommodations were super comfortable, clean and well serviced. Our room in the Villa was enormous with a huge bathroom. Each morning breakfast and coffee was superb and enjoyed down by the water as the sun rose - beautiful! The fishing experience was unreal and some of the best we have ever had, we had Luke as a guide who put in huge effort for us to catch and we had a ball with him. We landed a couple of huge Dogtooth - which we had sashimi once back - along with a bunch of other barracuda, wahoo etc. Once back on land it’s only a short walk to bar area you can unwind for the day over a few beers and a game of pool. Each night you enjoy a sensational 3 course meal with changing menu - food was superb! The rest of the nights spent enjoying a few drinks by the firepit. Days off fishing spent swimming, snorkeling and kayaking and exploring the island ywas great on a guided tour organized at the resort. Overall an awesome fun experience, highly recommend to any angler or travele looking for beautiful relaxing holiday. Some of the best sunsets you'll see and beautiful scenery. Special thanks to the whole team made our time very memorable. Looking forward to coming back!!

In November 2023 . Myself and 7 others spent a week at their lodge in Vanuatu . This was one of our greatest adventure and exciting times . Accommodations was great Meals and comfort was what I expected. Staff were exceptional We all had a ball and have no hesitation on recommending this place to stay and fish The fishing is so exciting . A must do. Patrick

My trip was an absolute pleasure, the food was great, the accommodation was great, the staff led by Erin were great and the fishing was pretty bloody great too. I can not commend captain Patrick enough he put us on the fish and was a absolute champion while doing it.

My wife and I went on a 4 day fishing trip with ocean blue with my two brothers and their wives plus nephew and girlfriend. 25 yo to 65 yo. It was a long overdue family catch-up as we live on different sides of Australia. Huge variation in fishing experience and keenness to fish all day in our group. Unfortunately 3 of our 4 days happened to be poor weather - windy and rain. Can’t plan that in advance. Last day was a brilliant day with flat seas, blue skies and stunning scenery uninterrupted by rain and clouds. We had a really time. Erin was really excellent in helping us get organised for each days fishing or activities (ie when a couple of wives had a day off fishing). Boats were well suited and in very good condition. Alistair has done a great job to have them in such good condition after the 2 cyclones. Even in challenging sea conditions (and I’m not a good sailor) I felt totally safe because of the condition of the boats and the experience / skill of the young skippers. Skippers Patrick and Luke (on the boats I went on) were clearly skilled in running the boats and good fishing guides - but most of all they were totally attuned to and concerned about making sure we were having a good time. For example, when it was getting lumpy they checked whether we wanted to move into more protected waters behind islands to be more comfortable. My brothers went out with skipper Sammi who also was an enormous character a bit like the everready bunny. We caught some fish (my best a 20kg dogtooth) but that was not the highlight of the trip. We had a really good time and Vanuatu is truly beautiful. The location, accommodation and food at Trees and Fishes was simply first rate. It seems rude calling them “staff” because they were so friendly and attuned to making us have a good time. Thank you Erin, Patrick, Luke (and Sammi) and Ali for making our trip so good.
