Management with the grace of a nosy, overbearing and bitter HOA president. My father passed away when I was a child and now that I am older understand the people in charge are straight garbage. When I leave flowers and come back a couple days later they are gone. Decorations are no longer allowed and the landscaping staff have a massive power trip. I wish I could dig my father's remains out of the ground and take them somewhere else. Please don't give these people your business if you want to honor your loved ones and grieve your way. Much love to all.

Insensitive and unaccomodating worker that showed no compassion at time of need and began chuckling to see a grieving family not be able to enter. What a shame as we already have 4 plots there. It was my brother's birthday, we already had family inside waiting for us but due to my father just getting out of the ER, we ran a few minutes late. They wouldn't let anyone in even though their site says they are open until 4:30 and we were there at 4:18. For all those wishing to enter, make sure you are there before 4 or they won't let you in and they will kick you out at 4:30, no exceptions. Please update your information so others don't have to endure the same.

When we first went to buy a plot the owners son was in charge of the showing and was completely disrespectful. They did not care that a relative had just passed away, and had no emotion besides selling. Their rules are also disappointing as they now ban memorabilia besides cut flowers. Good luck going to visit your loved ones if you have a job, they close at 4 and will promptly and rudely kick you out. Have not had a single good experience here, would never come back if it wasn’t for family.

Very low quality customer service and attention. It has been the oldest major cemetery in Ventura County for many, many years, but they seem to rely on that reputation without trying to maintain good service. They allowed a family grave to become overgrown and covered, which I discovered after returning to the area after 10 years away. They remove flowers in a day or two, so it’s almost a waste. I discovered that when a I put fresh live flowers and happened to return 2 days later and the flowers were gone! It seems a regular policy as almost every grave is often bare. I left a complaint and they said someone would call me but they never did. Customer restrooms are often locked or coded. We come a little distance to get here about once a month, so it’s very inconvenient. They offer no apologies and do not seem to care.

Every year I have always placed Christmas trees at my dads gravesite. The are artificial and I have always picked them up after Christmas. He also has vases on the sides of his headstone. I guess this year we are not suppose to celebrate Christmas so they put them in the trash. Not one bit impressed at all. You had NO BUSINESS TOUCHING THE ONE IN THE VASE!

it's a nice lay out, beautiful statues and a restroom in the back. I will leave a few pointers that where you can look into for a 4 or possibly a 5. 1. The place is closed by 4p even during spring time. 2. The flowers we leave are always gone 2 days later. ( Between my brother, sister, niece, and close friends we communicate with each other.) No wonder most graves look abandoned 3. When our loved one passed, no one said sorry for your loss or anything like that. It was straight to rules. We have loved onces in other Cemeteries here in Ventura countyand we hade a different experience with them. So I know it's not just about Business.

All of my experiences with the kind staff have been reasonably pleasant and filled with the utmost sensitivity for the individuals that are contending with bereavement. The cemetery is somewhat large, generally well-kept, and markers from outside companies are permitted as long as certain guidelines are fulfilled.

My mom and dad are both buried at Ivy Lawn. They have strict rules about certain things and although I didn’t like being at the receiving end of some of these rules, I came to appreciate them and understand that the rules are set to keep the grounds clean and peaceful. I have always had good experience with the staff and found them accommodating, compassionate and understanding. Thank you Ivy Lawn for all you do.

We went with Ivy Lawn when my mother passed away. Mr. Nick Bothwell made the experience an easy one. I really appreciated the way he handled the situation as difficult as it was. He was kind, compassionate, and really went above and beyond for my family.. I would recommend Ivy Lawn to any and all.

This place makes it extremely difficult to honor your loved ones. No compassion. Hours are horrible. Who closes at 3:30 in the afternoon in the summer? What kind of place won’t let you put a small Christmas tree on your child’s grave at Christmas?

I had an excellent experience at Ivy Lawn with my mom’s cremation and my own pre-need services. Nick Bothwell gave great customer service! Highly recommended for all your needs.
