I
can't
say
enough
good
things
about
our
recent
stay
at
the
Heather
House.
We
were
in
the
area
for
a
long
weekend
exploring
the
area
and
loved
everything
about
our
stay.
Helen
and
Mark
are
so
friendly
and
accommodating
and
this
is
one
to
put
on
the
bucket
list
if
you're
a
lover
of
old
houses.
So
much
detail,
and
we
loved
hearing
about
the
history
of
the
house
itself.
We
stayed
in
the
Huron
room,
which
has
a
porch
overlooking
the
St.
Clair
River
and
viewing
the
freighters
as
they
floated
past
was
a
treat.
You'll
find
the
rooms
to
be
extremely
clean
and
comfortable,
and
the
fact
everything
is
decorated
with
period
furniture
is
a
wonderful
bonus.
Marine
City
is
a
very
cute
town
with
great
restaurant
options,
and
you'll
also
love
exploring
the
entire
river
area
from
Port
Huron
to
Detroit.
You'll
not
want
to
miss
out
on
Helen's
wonderful
breakfast,
but
keep
in
mind
it's
served
at
one
setting,
usually
around
9:00.
If
you're
an
early
riser
then
you
might
miss
out,
but
trust
me....sleep
in
a
bit,
go
for
a
walk
around
the
beautiful
town,
and
do
NOT
miss
the
breakfast
with
the
other
guests.
We
met
some
wonderful
people
from
all
over
the
state
during
that
hour,
and
I
wouldn't
have
traded
it
for
anything.
Thanks
again
to
Helen
and
Mark
for
your
hosting
and
having
such
a
beautiful
house
to
share
with
us.
We
are
already
thinking
about
our
next
stay!
