Nice relaxing picnic area with beautiful views of the river. Nice trails to walk. Challenging natural staircase trail to walk as well.

I love this path because it has a beautiful view of the river and a little bit of climbing over some beautiful fallen trees. There are a lot of nice riverbanks to relax on that are not full current even when it rains a ton. It is super fun for kids and dogs. It is not a loop trail, but it has a really cool area through rocks, although it seems to be a storm drain, but it is absolutely beautiful. It still is a bit of a hike and I was actually at babb run not cascade. I would recommend tennis shoes and it isn't a super easy trail.

Beautiful state park. Outlook bridge had a great view and was amazing! Also did the trail along the water and was peaceful and calming. My daughter and I really liked these trails and will be back.

Very nice park! We hiked 2 trails and enjoyed both of them. The Overlook Trail is short, but the view from the overlook is scenic. The Oxbow Trail gets right beside the river with good views.

A Nice short hike. The park itself is so very large and there were tuns of fungi growing around the river basin. There was not a lot of people traffic. A lovely place for the dog to get some exercise. There is a picnic place by the parking lot and the river, I am sure you can rent for family events. The trail work steps had been completed nearly 100 years ango and they are holding up so well!

A very nice place to go & get away. Once again we never fail to find a new route etc so it’s very nice to go no matter how many times we’ve gone.

Excellent pathways even with the leaves. Trails could be marked a little better.

Beautiful park. Just opened and it is already our favorite place. Very clean, large beautiful fields of Black Eyed Susans. We can't wait for the park to further develop. Great trail for a casual walks or a trail runner. We can't wait for the connection to Sand Run park.

Love this park. Took our 2 year old for the first time and he was enchanted. The overlook is beautiful. Love seeing people walk their dogs here.

Wonderful landscape. Flat ground for older folks. Beautiful for picnicking or family fun. Dog friendly.

This has to be one of the most beautiful parks I have been to. There are a couple of steep hills if you are hiking so keep that in mind. There is a picnic area right along the river, but you have to walk a bit to get there, that trail is nice and flat though. Great place for a family outing.

Love hiking the trails. The fact there is two parking lots, trails link up to other Cascade Valley Parks is just great. There is also open fields and shade to make it balanced for every thing you want there. I did my first look with my dad on wedding day at the Indian Signal Tree, June 2022, and the day was perfect. One of my fav places now for sure.

Do NOT bring your pets here! There was SO much broken glass along the whole trail along with other trash.

Relaxing park area near the river. Picnic tables and grills available. Friendly people frequent this park with their dogs and kids. Very family friendly park. Nice walking trails. Well kept.

What they have done to this park is a crime. They cut down 20-30 acres of trees and are mining in the park! When will we (residents) be able to use OUR park again!

A stunning park hidden in a valley directly outside of downtown Akron, although not part of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, it is the beginning of the greenbelt that travels north/northwest into said valley. Summit Metro Parks considers this area the jewel of their park system and I agree. The signal tree, picnic areas, and connection to the Highbridge Trail are all gorgeous. Several areas of the river here are shallow enough to venture into the middle of the river, where you can often see Blue Heron catching a meal. There are also several deep bends where one can take a swim when the water is clean enough for that. Deer are plentiful as well and can often be seen grazing in the middle of the meadows near dusk. Truly a magical place. Also, several other wonderful parks abut this one that are worth checking out - the overlook area in Cuyahoga Falls has a viewing platform that overlooks this area and has trails connecting to it, there's also Babb Run across the river which features a underused trail to a beautiful waterfall, but this chuckery area is my favorite!
