    This purchased didn't even get off the ground. The phone system sucks. After going through several prompts to try to get a human on the phone, it finally recognized just the word store. Then it says do you want to talk to the local store? I said yes. I waited on hold for another 25 minutes. And who do I get? Some person in a foreign country. Good job Best buy. You just lost a $9,000 sale plus all the accessories I was going to need because you can't have someone call a local store. Dumbest idea ever.

    Purchased an open box - excellent condition TV, which should have all of the original parts. TV was missing a remote and pieces of the stand so I am unable to use it. Tried calling the store and was redirected to the national line who says my best option is returning the whole TV and hoping that I can exchange it, since the store will not have the manufacturer stand pieces. Very frustrating because I drove 1.5hrs out of my way to pick up this TV. I wish the store had made sure the box contained everything that I had paid for.

    I am not really a fan of Best buy because their return policy is horrible and the employees are aggressive at trying to upsell and also to push the Geek Squad and warranties, which are both a joke. That aside, I went to purchase a phone. The girl that helped me was very nice, knew her business and assisted me with out blowing smoke up my butt and trying to sell me all kinds of things that I needed. There were a few things that I knew that she did not but she looked them up and honored the sale price and incentives. The store is clean and they have a great selection. If you want to buy something online, it's a great place to go look and touch it first.

    I hate to leave negative reviews, but my experience with Bestbuy South Setauket has been so bad it left me with no other option. I placed an order for multiple items and was eagerly awaiting their arrival. However, it's been six long weeks, and I've yet to receive my items. I understand that businesses can face challenges, but a lack of communication and resolution from their end has been frustrating. This experience has significantly tainted my perception of this location. I hope no one else has to face such delays without proper communication or recourse. Schedule: Week 1 - The 3rd party installation company told me they could not pick up my items from BestBuy South Setauket because they were placed on hold. I go to the store, and they tell me it's a Best Buy Online Order to call them. Week 2 - Online team told me they fixed the program and we scheduled the order Week 3 - Same issue as week one Items on HOLD!!! Week 4 - Spent Calling Customer Support. After 5 open tickets, I realized they were not going to fix my issue Week 5 - Go back to the store. My only other option in my mind; they told me this happens all the time, and my best bet would be to tell me to call my credit card company and tell them I never got the items I paid for and to submit a fraud ticket Jude Kuzmovich - After talking to three different managers, and reaching out to the bestbuy customer service deport 6 times opening up 5 Escalation Tickets waiting 6 weeks for them to tell me i need to wait more time for the system to update is just crazy to me. They refuse to give me my items or refund me. 09/23/2023 - Had to go into the store for the 3rd time. The manager on duty told me just to call the credit card company and report the charge as fraud, Since they charged me but never gave me my products. he said this might be the fastest solution to getting a refund. I would not recommend the "best buy total tech" program I got this to have my TVs installed, but this was the sole reason I was having issues with my order. Walmart offer TV installation for $69.99 vs the 179.99 from best buy

    Found just what I was looking for: a physically small, high capacity thumb drive, and the price turned out to be a bit less than Amazon's black Friday deal. Give 'em credit!

    I was looking to buy an unlocked cell phone at the East Setauket Best Buy. Four sales clerks stood in a circle, chatting, about 8' from me. The store was empty. Not one came over to ask if I needed assistance or if I were ready to buy. Awful.

    Big, clean, very helpful.... really all you can ask for they have a large selection, appliances, televisions, video games, computers, I bought a mouse

    I walked in about an hour to closing and the clerk asked me what I was there to do. I told him I was going to buy my daughter a laptop (ie, give your store lots of money). He took my name to put into a virtual queue, and directed me over to the laptops. My daughter and I looked at laptops, but were not approached or called out of a queue. At one point an employee walked past us and said he'd be right back, but, after 20 minutes he hadn't returned. We went over to another area where an employee was helping another customer and waited with another man who was waiting to buy something. After 10 minutes of further waiting, we both just decided to buy it online for pickup the next day, because there didn't seem to be any queue or any other employees. The pickup the next day went very well, so, yay, but it was still overall a weird shopping experience.

    Informative, helpful, and excellent customer service while shopping. Even though we came in for a charger for a phone, associates asked if we needed assistance and leaded us in the right direction.

    Best buy is still good for occasional deals. But with caution , better prices can be found elsewhere. Also over the years less staff to help . There are exceptional stores but hit or miss . If there's no urgency shop around
