We have been dining in and ordering take out for years. Management and servers are attentive and honor reservations. Food and drinks are conistlantly satisfying in a mexican cuban latin environment. Weekends include rock and folk live performances. You cant go wrong!

A great spot. Me and my wife went out for dinner and the food was so fresh and delicious. Drinks were great and service was extremely fast and everyone was very friendly. Great place for date night.

The ambience was great! The owner was friendly and on point. Staff was great! They will dance on my next visit. Good music. The food was delicious. I had a burrito and my wife had a combo fajita. Yummy! You have to try the empanadas from the appetizers. OMG! First time here but nit my last. I'll be coming back to check out the rest of the menu. Totally recommend Margarita's Cafe!

The atmosphere is festive. They have live music on weekends and all the entertainment is good. Not always the same band, so you get a nice variety. They have both tables and a bar. The food is good, plentiful and presented well. They make guacamole right at the table and it's very good. Prices are reasonable, though they did go up a bit like everyone else did to the times we are living in. It's one of our favorite places.

Besides the service being slooooow (we may have arrived after a big rush), the portions were large, food was really good (recommend the steak burrito) and the prices are reasonable. The decor is great and the live music really makes the experience more fun. This place is still pretty new and I hope it makes it.

06/17/2023 Very nice place. Port Jefferson Station. Seated immediately. Appeared to be lots of staff. Live music. All staff was friendly and warm. Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable of menu. We were party of 4 My Jambalaya was terrific. Saturday evening and we were able to relax no rushing. Will definitely return

it’s alright: food is mediocre, and drinks are expensive. music was way too loud for me. the bathrooms are gendered even though they’re both the single stalls with no urinal.

I heard this place is good but no one picks up the phone and there's never availability to reserve online ahead of time. So what's the point. Very unfortunate. Really wanted to see what this place was like. Don't want to go without getting info before so we don't get turned away. Oh well.

The waitstaff was very friendly and helpful. 1st time here. Food was delicious! They had live music, which was really good too. Acoustic Soul played. Really good band. No dancing, except the waitstaff. lol Not too loud, we were able to still talk.

We had a reservation for 4 people. We had an issue with the table we were seated at. We asked if we could please move. They were very rude and told us no. We left and went to Don Quijote down the block, food and drinks were great! Skip this place and head there you won’t regret it.

The food is ok but it's close by and the staff is lovely, which is why I have eaten there over the years. However, today, I could no longer overlook the dismissive and arrogant attitude of Allen, the manager. There's almost an entitlement to your business. He doesn't have to acknowledge you nor offer an apology for anything, not provide any managerial presence and/ or customer service, at all. I have tried to spare the staff this review. Because they have been very good. However, Allen is the reason I will never return. Corporate, do you read these reviews? He's clearly an issue.

I thought we had found a neat new regular spot but I had a really bad experience here that made me never want to go back. Made a reservation and when we were going to be seated we asked to sit at a slightly larger table, as to not be sandwiched and right on top of other guests. The last time we were there the table didn’t fit the amount of food we ordered so we figured this would be a simple request. But the man who was seating us was extraordinarily rude and said it wasn’t possible, even though there were multiple tables available. Instead he said we could only sit at a table right at the front door. With below freezing temperatures and the door swinging open and hitting the chair, this just wasn’t an option for us. He just could not even care less. Much rather go somewhere where your business is appreciated.

Henry was awesome! $6 sangrias, tableside guacamole, great service, fajitas were excellent, steak quesadilla was so good! Steak was tender and juicy. Will deff be back for Henry. Only complaint was the salsa was kinda weird.

We thought it was a good idea to drop in, big mistake. Walked in during happy hour and when we got the bill we were charged full price for every item on the happy hour menu. Spoke to waiter and manager, they came back with some corrections but not all, he even try to tell us the house tequila was patron. We can't be the first to get a bill like this, but double check your tab, I'm sure they doing this to other clientele as well

Always a great experience. Food is never a disappointment. Love those empanada appetizers, so unique. Large menu. Something for everyone.

When our lunch was served, we suddenly remembered why we had not eaten here in a while. 1. We ordered crunchy tacos which were sitting in the juices of the meat they were stuffed with. The shells were soggy and inedible. 2. Refried beans were smothered in gloopy cheese 3. The salsa is bland. 4. Lunch: pricey for what you get. On the positive side: Servers are very nice and friendly and the meal comes quickly.

We went on a Friday night. You need reservations which we had. The service was good The food good. My husband had the jambalaya and said it was delicious. I had the camarones empanizados, which is batter coated fried shrimp. It was very dry. I needed to ask for a dip for it. There was a live band there One Step Ahead who were excellent. They had people up and dancing by their tables. It was overall a very good experience
