I'm
someone
with
a
few
screws
loose
mental
health
wise
but
I've
never
felt
so
understood,
accepted,
and
heard
than
I
did
at
this
facility.
I
was
walked
through
every
step
by
an
earnest
and
informed
receptionist
named
Ella,
who
when
needing
to
confirm
something,
didn't
posture
an
ego,
instead,
had
the
maturity
to
ask
another
administrator
by
the
name
of
Maria
-
I
saw
this
as
genuine
interest
as
how
to
best
help
me,
the
patient.
Maria
was
considerate
and
thorough
in
her
advice
and
it
just
resonated
a
good
wavelength
from
the
staff
being
on
the
same
page
and
there
for
the
people
and
from
my
previous
experiences,
without
naming
names
-
but
the
negligence
and
aggression
in
the
medical
industry
is
truly
on
display
when
you
have
mental
illnesses
like
I
do
but
no,
not
here.
I
saw
Dr
Anusha,
who
jumped
up
and
took
me
due
to
my
original
doctor
being
busy
(my
fault
for
being
late,
not
theirs
at
all)
Yet
this
was
done
so
I
didn't
have
to
wait
so
long.
She
asked
me
questions,
respected
my
answers,
and
showed
genuine
care
and
exceptional
professional
range
on
the
topics
discussed
in
a
calm
and
warm
tone.
You
know
what
this
does?
Especially
for
a
patient
who
struggles,
to
even
look
people
in
the
eye
without
shaking
like
I
do?
It
builds
a
rapport,
and
a
sense
of
trust.
And
you
know
what
that
does
for
us
patients?
Makes
us
want
to
be
as
open,
honest,
and
friendly
as
possible
-
which
lets
us
get
the
treatment
we
need,
in
addition
to
yielding
the
respect
these
hard
working
individuals
deserve.
If
that's
not
the
goal
of
our
medical
industry?
Then
I
don't
know
what
is.
But
it
was
as
heart
warming
as
it
was
sad,
to
have
felt
more
heard
with
my
15
minutes
with
her?
Than
in
my
2
decades
at
my
old
practice,
a
place
I'd
grown
up
in
and
knew
some
of
the
doctors
from
when
I
was
just
a
child,
the
same
people
who
missed
so
many
easily
identified
conditions
until
countless
specialist
visits
later,
but,
I
digress,
yet
I
wanted
to
emphasize
the
catharsis
I
felt
today.
So
for
any
who
are
being
mistreated
in
the
local
practice
and
are
trying
to
find
the
courage
to
receive
the
human
decency
you
know
you
deserve?
Or
just
plain
want
to
go
to
the
best
and
skip
the
rest?
You'll
find
it
here.
So
for
whatever
it's
worth,
to
anyone
reading,
be
it
people
browsing
for
a
new
GP
or
the
staff
I
mentioned
today?
I,
we,
are
privileged
to
attend
this
practice.
Lest
we
forget
how
many
places
in
the
world
have
no
such
medical
access,
and
remember
the
plague
of
those
that
do,
yet
are
run
by
staff
who
see
you
as
a
$
Infusion
to
be
dismissed
as
soon
as
possible,
not
a
human
being
to
be
helped.
And
I
haven't
given
such
a
glowing
review
to
this
industry
since
first
seeing
the
psychiatric
practice
of
Charles
Ajoy
Estibeiro.
Thank
you
for
taking
me
as
a
patient,
I
no
longer
dread
doctor
appointments,
you're
all
legends
XD
