Worst hotel ever. Extremely dirty. The room carpets are spilled with blood marks. The bathroom was flooding. My worst experience in an hotel. I was informed that this was the best room in the hotel (executive room). Finally, I moved to other location. I cannot believe that it is an international chain. Btw, the internet does not work.

Terribly run down, it must once have been an elegant hotel in a good location (nice harbour views from spacious rooms) but has been abandoned and now much the worse for wear. Restaurant food is very mediocre and expect to wait up to an hour to get your food. This place needs a real kick up the backside

Beautiful views, friendly staff, room service is slow. Quarantine Meals served very late.Food quality suits local taste -not up to hotel standard. A better chef needs to be recruited

Second quarantine in Port Moresby at the Grand PAP. Great friendly staff who go the extra to make your 14 day stay as special as it can be. The restaurant provides alternative meals to suit your dietary needs. The motel staff even purchased several items from local shops. Quarantine isn't fun. But the Grand PAP and the professional staff made it bearable. Thank you very much it was appreciated. If your looking for secure accommodation, quick WIFI, excellent food and friendly staff in POM, the Grand PAP ticks all the boxes.

Great place if you want to think and relax or even for those who want to write a book, that's the place you can pick for your book writing days. The view down to Ela Beach is just breath taking. To top things off is the service and attendance by staffs and security are very friendly and professional. Only negative comment I have is regarding the rags inside the rooms. They need to be properly vacuumed and polish to give more comfort and home feeling to guest. Still the best hotel for me so far.

They need to work on pest control. There are so many coackroches roaming around. And their cocktails need great improvement, including the glasses they are served in. For such a big hotel chain, it's very disappointing to be having pests all over

I recently stayed at the Grand Papua Hotel in Port Moresby and I have to say that my experience was wonderful. The customer service was top-notch, with the staff going out of their way to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, with all the amenities that one would expect from a high-end hotel. The pool was a great way to relax and unwind after a long day of sightseeing or business meetings. One thing to note is that the carpark is quite limited due to the hotel's location in Port Moresby's CBD. However, this didn't cause me too much trouble as I found it easy to arrange transportation during my stay. The breakfast at the hotel was great, with a variety of options to choose from. However, the dinner service was a bit slow, and we had to wait quite a while before we received our food. Despite this, the overall experience was still positive, and I would recommend the Grand Papua Hotel to anyone visiting Port Moresby

A bit pricey for an average PNG wage earner but if you join the Coral Seas Hotel loyalty program, it is indeed cheap. The location, service and room setting is worth the amount spent...

The room was well-designed and modern, with sleek and stylish decor that created a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The bed was comfortable, with soft linens and pillows that ensured a good night's sleep. The room was also equipped with modern amenities, such as a flat-screen TV and high-speed internet, that made my stay even more enjoyable. The view from the room was stunning, with breathtaking vistas of the nearby city and surrounding areas. The view created a peaceful and relaxing ambiance in the room, which enhanced my stay even further. I enjoyed waking up to the beautiful scenery and watching the sunset over the city from my window. Overall, I would highly recommend this modern hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and stylish stay. The service, room, and view were all exceptional, and the experience was truly memorable. I would definitely stay at this hotel again in the future.

We do come here most times for lunch and dinner making use of our Pacific Privilege membership vouchers. I would say the service is great, the restaurant's buffet is also good but not too bad. The waiters are awesome, they make you feel at home. The rooms come with great views, either to Ela Beach over looking the Apec House or the view to the other side of town, where the old wharf used to be, now the Harbourside East and West including the new Harbourside South, in the short the view is just incredible in either side. The hotel itself has won numerous world awards.

Excellent hotel with ever so friendly staff! Even their conference and catering team are the best! And their head chefs truly know their stuff when it comes to food.

We booked Grand Papua for a night after our wedding on 13 June 2022. We had great customer service and they upgraded our room to executive 😊 just one recommendation is for the carpet to be clean...it was dirty and needs cleaning. But overall, we enjoyed our one night stay, enjoyed the view overlooking Ela Beach β›±

I give my honest review of places I visit. Here is my review of my stay at Grand Papua; I am still quite upset with my experience, and with my review, I hope something will be done about the service and general upkeep of the hotel. 1. When we went to do our booking the lady at the front desk was not professional. She directed us to wait for 2 minutes in the bar where she would come attend to us but didn't, and we waited for 30 minutes. When we walked back to the reception area, we found out that she had just clocked off work! Thankfully, the gentleman who had just signed on was professional and assisted us. 2. The Executive Room we paid for had stained bed linens, carpet, and torn pillow cases and missing the throw pillows. 3. The air conditioning didn't cool the room entirely and kept going off at night, thus disturbing our sleep. It was clogged with dust. And just out dated. 4. Bathroom amenities were very limited for the price of the room and stay in general 5. The seal at the bottom of the room door was broken so we could hear all noises from people out on the corridor. 6. Breakfast had an exquisite view from the 15th floor and lovely service and but food lacked variety and true value for money 7. Grand Cafe milkshakes were JUST MILK out of a carton. And the coffee was just as bad despite having the best coffee machine on hand 8.The checkoutt process was a tad bit too lengthy waiting for housekeeping to check the room, and there was a queue. The highs of our stay would be the 1. View from our room 2. The 2 good gentlemen assisted us with our booking and check-in. Both were efficient, professional, and very friendly 3. The 2 lovely ladies who served breakfast on the 15th floor. As the 2 gentlemen, they were both efficient, professional, and very helpful. But for 2 nights in the "EXECUTIVE ROOM," It was definitely not worth the money.

Hotel is about 15 mins drive away from the international airport. Rooms with balcony have great views. Exterior of hotels looks fresh but furniture in rooms are a little dated. Not much crowds in the hotel.

Enjoyed my stay. Staff PR were excellent. The reception and duty manager to call twice a day to check if everything's ok, made me feel that I wasn't alone. Applause to Kila and the team. I had a great view from my room. However, I would suggest if you could hire an exterminator to exterminate cockroaches as that was the only problem I encountered whilst my stay. Thank you. Best hotel anyway πŸ‘πŸ‘

The hotel was clean and my room as well. The view was amazing. Gym well equipped and loved the small pool. I didn’t enjoy the flavor of dishes during dinner. I had spicy shrimps for appetizer and barramundi for main course. Both dishes lacked in flavor, presentation was fine. Breakfast on the other side was really good with lots of options including healthy items. The staff was great and I know how the environment and way of living in some places can be laid back but these guys try really hard. I do recommend to visit this place.

This is one of the best and standard hotels in Port Moresby Staff are really good and hospitable compared to other hotels I have gone to in the city. Food is great here and rooms are just what you will expect to find. A safe, oven (microwave) and other utensils and appliances you will definitely need during your stay. Great value for your money. The best and great view of the Ela beach seeing different aged people enjoying themselves. A great view also to the Apec building right in the forefront. At least I can say, I highly recommend this hotel.
