Jackson's Bar has this relaxing vibe with a good view of Port Moresby's Jackson's International Airport. Their BBQ platter serving is generous for a group of 2 or 3. If you feel luck is on your side (or even if it's not), there's the gaming section where you can play safely. Will come back again soon and try enjoying more of their menu.

Salad bar always fresh and delicious!

The Jackson Bar Restraunt is a wonderful place to enjoy food. Restraunt set on a hilly part of the Gateway Hotel so you can enjoy fine dinning while watching planes take off and land. The food is good and the portions served will be the talk of the week. I recommend the Tomahawk, a 450g steak and should be had with the mushroom source.

I enjoyed the view, the atmosphere, the music and ambience was good. The service team was well mannered and courteous. The only thing that spoiled my mood was the unpredictable loudness of the music. Despite this, I enjoyed my time.

Nice location to have a quiet beer with friends. Located at th Gateway Hotel premises so there are restaurants close by if you want to get a bite to eat.

I enjoyed the Live Music, but wasn't too happy with the customer service from the staff. We were given the wrong bill twice from the bar attendant, who kept on insisting that we ordered extra drinks when we never did. Experience wise & service wise, it often varies every time I go there. It's never consistant.

The bar is very nice. I'm afraid the same can't be said for the food. The pizza bases are more like a biscuit base and the toppings are nothing exciting. I've had the tomahawk steak in the restaurant before, which was fatty and hard to digest. Came with thick cut chips, supposedly. They were frozen french fries.

Good and safe car parking spaces with street lights. A relaxed environment.

Sunday evening, service is poor, no supervision, however food was great, menu most items off, no special available. Wine bill was double that quoted. Roof leaks, kitchen door hinge broken, desperately crying out for maintenance and some customer oriented training. Let us know when it is sorted. Was such a great place to go now it's on my avoid list.

A great place to relax and enjoy either for food or just to hang out over a couple of cold ones. At night its the best, airport runway lights light up the view from one end.

I had been to the rooftop bar and the restaurant only for coffee but going there for dinner just this week, they have won me over. The service is immaculate and there is truly much attention to detail with the food; a bold mix of flavours that play on your palate in a delightful culinary experience.
