Never really stayed at the Airways Hotel before but just recently did for work. I had a very good experience. Was lovely. The food options were good. The hair saloon and BSP ATM are so convenient. You can get some walking exercise done around the hotel. The view is amazing. Conveniently located to the airport. I really enjoy my stay here.

Since 4 years I’ve been a loyal customer of Airways Hotel and I’ve always experienced excellency and the most genuine service. They have been providing constantly outstanding services for my business trips to Papua New Guinea. The hotel is beautiful and the pool bar / restaurant and the airplane is epic on it’s own and recognised as is in the world. Always a pleasure to be back. Thank you all adorable people for going the extra mile to make our stay memorable …

The best ever hotel with clean and spacious room and variety of food for breakfast. Check in time was smooth with the friendly frontdesk. They have snooker table on the first floor and happy hour on the second floor. The only downside was the latte or any type of coffee was chargeable except americano coffee.

Attended a weekend meeting here, and I honestly enjoyed the service. Customer service is very professional, love the view from the Restaurant at 7th Floor. Has a small Stop & Shop outlet within the premises which makes it very convenient for guests. The rooms are Massive and so comfortable. Thanks for the lovely stay Airways Hotel.

Really enjoyed my stay there and felt Safe with well structured and solid security services that welcome and monitor the premises 24/7. Great service, friendly workers and eating selections are abundant with choices of food and they have a sufficient gym as well and a tennis court. A park area and playground for the kids however as always be careful with the heat. The reception area is where you can purchase a wide range of memorabilia and you won't be disappointed with their selections. It is a huge complex so if you want to walk around the place make sure you wear the appropriate shoes.

Stopped here for business breakfast over the weekend. Was met by friendly staff , good coffee and good buffet. Lovely setting, with a cool breeze blowing in. Great experience.

Disappointing, dropped a star due to the restaurant, food is less than average, breakfast - coffee take 15 mins to arrive, buffet is great if you like rice & savoury for breakfast, no eggs anywhere except a sole chef on an egg station that has zero chance of keeping up with orders. Lunch - kitchen well under prepared for the numbers Rooms as usual very high standard

The Airways Hotel has evolved into a veritable home away from home, extending a warm welcome each time we revisit to relish the charms of Port Moresby. Its strategic location proves to be immensely convenient, and the establishment has notably elevated the overall hotel experience. Abundant illumination fosters an ambiance of brightness and airiness within the rooms, complemented by a tastefully sleek and modern décor. It is the hotel's staff, however, that truly sets it apart. The reception team, in particular, exudes remarkable efficiency. All in all, our stay was nothing short of exceptional.

Didn't have the items on the menu, which was very disappointing. 2 items on the menu won't available. We ordered and waited for almost 15- 20mins before we were told that certain items on the menu won't available. Making our choices very hard. Fruit juices are healthy drinks and should be available at all times for clients who prefer healthy drinks..

best experience ever... I've never experienced that level of customer service at Airways that I've seen and experienced elsewhere. People are so friendly there and welcoming with all smiles around.. from the driver to the receptionist to the baggage boys.. Too good... The place is so vintage, and the view of the whole airport runway is just magnificent...

Excellent! I was told by a friend that staying at Airways was an experience worth having and I would concur. The ambience of the room when I first walked in blew me away. It has to be the best Hotel in PNG.

best hotel I have ever stayed at and I have travelled a lot. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We arrived late, just as the kitchen was closing but managed to enjoy a fabulous meal. Unreservedly recommend this hotel!

Service was above and beyond, rooms a bit dated but very spacious, just a tad far from downtown. Loved the compound size and especially the fitness club and walking track!

📍The Vue Restaurant and Bar. Delicious food, soups. The service was great and they offer complimentary bread and sushi if you’re waiting on your meals. Lovely for a family outing.

I'm giving a 5 star because it's everything you expect from a great hotel experience. Got a really good discount on a twin double bed room. Came with everything else and two fresh apples. They don't make you wait when checking out like most hotels; to do a quick house keeping check. Had my toddler with me so was relieved I didn't waste time at the lobby. I will definitely be going back there

Just stopped for lunch during a 5 hour lay-over in Port Moresby. Free airport shuttle, a 5 min drive, delicious buffet, not cheap but brilliant value for money!

Worst dinner we had at Vue restaurant - a few menu items were not available (no prawns, no scallops, no fish salad) and finally we chose one Chicken appetiser which was supposed to be cooked in coconut milk and aupa served with eggplant puree and a main fish curry supposed to be served with rice and naan. What were brought up were a small chicken cutlet served with chips (all cold) for the appetiser and main course was missing the naan (food cold). Then when we wanted to pay, was told our beer was included in our bill when we have already paid at the bar and the staff couldn’t rectify the bill as they needed a supervisor to split the bill?? Rather unfriendly and bad customer service. Huge disappointment as have heard much about the Airways - will not be eating there again.

Airways Hotel is one prime location in Port Moresby, situating itself amongst gorgeous views all around & located in close proximity to the international & domestic Airport. Accomodation here is second to none as are the staff, facilities, restaurants, bars & amenities. They are a 5 Star Hotel hands down & you will not be disappointed staying here. If you are looking for the best accomodation in Moresby then look no further, transports to & from Jackson’s Airport or anywhere you need to go on check out or pre arrival are covered so you know you are well looked after & can transit to & from where you need to go with peace of mind. Enjoy the stay 😊 I always look forward to each stay-over here.

This was our favorite eating place . Well haven't been there for last four months ,decided to take a chance on Saturday for a pre Christmas lunch Thoroughly disappointed, the standards have hit rock bottom. Untrained staff, poor menu, to the extent, the menu is scaled down by 50 % , no serving spoons , no cheese knives ,you have to ask for that.We ordered gin , only realized the trick on the second round , when they brought the Gin , ice and soda separate. They were serving us 15 Ml gin , mind you for 32 kina a drink , wow! We discovered that , the simple answer was instructions from our new GM , Finally they agreed that a standard drink would be 30 mils and decided to serve us a 30 mil drink. The main course was also scaled down We were grateful to Chef Galo to serve a medley of assorted prawns for one of our guests. The prawns were perfect .

The place was cool with friendly and welcoming staff onboard. Vanu Restaurant was very spacious with the best view overlooking Jackson's International Airport below, I love the Security officers approach towards walk in guests as well as inhouse guests. Thank you.

The hotel and its various restaurants are a treat. I really enjoyed staying here. The lodgings are excellent and spacious. The people are friendly and the service is great. I recommend getting a room facing the airport runway. I was on the second floor and had nice views. Third floor would have been even more nicer. However, that’s not a big issue as views form the 7th floor restaurant and pool area could not be beat. My checkin was smooth. I had arrived at 6am. I did have to pay for an extra night as first I was told no room is available for an early check in, and then when I agree to pay the room “appeared”. I would have preferred a somewhat reduced charge for this rather than a full night, but cant complain too much; the amenities and experience more than made up for this. The hotel is setup in the airport theme and has many nice details like metal benches and the checkin desk shaped form a wing. There’s a plane fuselage on the 7th floor as well. The food service was great. I especially loved the ambiance of the first floor cafe, and the fountain that’s next to it. It rained one day, and sitting in that lounge sipping on a yummy strawberry mouse and listening to the fountain and the rain was surreal. I would want to do it again one day. The breakfast buffet spread is pretty good and have numerous options. The fresh fruit juices were a plus. I also had dinner here one day and found the traditional rice and stew very intriguing. I also enjoyed that the omelets had a spicy kick to them. There’s security at each floor, and you need key card access to roam around. This made me feel safe (though presence of too much security worries me sometimes). This I believe is normal for PNG. The hotel offers free pick and drop service to the airport. Also, the on-site SPA has excellent options. The pool had nice water, and I enjoyed some swimming as well. Overall, a great place to stay.

My gratitude for a fantastic stay at the Airways Hotel. Excellent service was provided. The surroundings were calm and relaxing atmosphere. When I was informed that my room had been upgraded from the Baachus room to the Dakota room at the front desk, I was completely astonished. Mind Blown!! I still don’t know why it was upgraded. Did I act in a proper manner? Have I said something favorable? Airways Hotel will always be the pinnacle of all PNG hotels in my opinion. Period!!

I give 5 stars to all categories due to the fact that they're truly a 5 star hotel compare to my overnight accommodation experience in Port Moresby.

Loved this hotel. The plane in the middle is great. Wish it was still open to see inside of it. Wifi was best I've seen in the area. Still had some power issues though. Every hotel in the area has those though. My ac quit working late at night so they put me into another room within 5 minutes of me calling the desk. Might put up better light blocking window shades. Those sliding doors still let in lots of light at night.

At check in I asked if any upgraded rooms were available. For a very fair price, I upgraded to a junior suite with a view of the airport, but without the noise. The suite included an incredible bathroom with shower an beautiful modern bathtub. I normally don't take baths, but this tub was beckoning for a nice hot bath. I nearly fell asleep in the warmth of the bath. The junior suite also included at sofa, chair, and separate television for this area. The Vue restaurant on the 7th floor is consistently excellent. I enjoyed the Sunday Indian buffett for lunch and then had a delicious Yellow Chicken Curry dish for dinner. A national friend came to dinner with me and devoured the dinner buffett, stuffing himself with chicken, potatoes and pasta until he could not eat another bite. This property is just minutes away from the Port Moresby International Airport (POM) and the hotel shuttle can be accessed by asking the curbside airport concierge to call the shuttle. They arrived minutes later. There is also a beautiful 7th floor swimming pool and I regretted forgetting my bathing suit, although I'm sure the other guests were unknowingly grateful for not seeing my 60 year old body. I come through POM every few years, and I will always return to the Airways Hotel.

Airways is a beautiful hotel in a nicer area of Port Moresby. There’s a great view from the restaurant, which serves the finest pizza you’ll find in PNG! I highly recommend it.

Good security, absolutely awful customer service, not rude just totally incompetent. Laundry never returned without several trips to reception, inability to charge restaurant fees to room even after not 1, not 2, but 9 visits to reception with credit card details. Late check out took 6 calls, constant interruptions via housekeeping staff and calls. Rooms ok, Restaurants very average. Totally unrelaxed stay - will use the new Hilton next time - simply incompetent management and staff

This is PNG accommodation at it's finest. The staff are always so fantastic & a big shout out to John on the concierge desk for always being so accommodating! Melissa in the restaurant is also one of my favourites. Makes me feel like family every time I visit. It is also very safe, as a woman travelling by myself in POM.
