For a first timer, I ordered the basic: Tonkotsu Ramen. The serving is generous and the chashu slices taste good. The broth is not as milky as expected though. The noodles were firm that they wont turn soggy even if you eat slowly. I have been a ramen lover back in the Philippines with Japan-based brands offering the best of their menu. I may have expected too high but nevertheless, I can say I enjoyed dining at Hosi and will try their other offerings.

Get their Tonkoutsu Ramen with roast pork! Perfect comfort food on a rainy day in POM. If you're after a bargain they offer a Tonkoutsu Ramen Set (K38) which includes large bowl of Tonkoutsu Ramen + 5pcs of gyoza (pan fried dumplings) + tall glass of orange/pineapple juice. The tea egg, melt in your mouth juicy pork belly, is what brings me back each time! Always my go to spot when in VC

There were tiny maggots in the bottle of fish sauce they keep on the table. The Chinese manager didn't even apologise. Was planning to report it to the health authorities but kept forgetting. Took photos but couldn't find it now. Beware eating here.

The spicy beef Ramen was awesome. Tender but not as spicy as expected. Food was ready under 10 minutes. Faster than other places I've been.

they used spaghetti pasta on their Ramen as seen in the photos! what a mother fcukng joke on mother's day! the worst ramen i ever had in my entire life!!!!

Cons: I was surprised at the ridiculously priced K60+ Braised pork served in an 6 inch diameter shallow platter. I'd have thought it was a k20 dish...the braised pork was also a little tough. Not worth it. Pork served on top of the ramen noodle, seaweed and sweet corn soup -Tonkoutsu?? I forget- was 97% fat, no meat...I loved it, maybe it's supposed to be that way, though other people might not like it. Pros: Food was prepared quickly. Loved the chilli sesame oil, soy sauce and salt available on the table. The waiters weren't rude, and were accomodating. Decent LLB drinks are served here- if you're not into the sour element of an LLB. Wide range of dishes. Place looks well staffed.

Decent ramen. Waited far too long, They probably forgot my order at first. Useful choice if you are shopping there.
