Incredible place you head to in Port Moresby! This "nature park" is like a zoo, filled with native PNG wildlife that might be hard to spot in the wild. There are aviaries filled with birds of paradise, rooms of tree-kangaroos and wallabies, cassowaries and crocodiles, and a whole reptile house. One can walk around and see all the sights within an hour, but taking time to observe the animals and their unique behaviors is a must! There is a fun gift store, a small cafe, and lots of picnic tables and areas. Highly recommend for anyone who comes to this area and wants to view some native creatures!

I went here and was surprised by the range of animals they have. If you haven't been before I recommend checking it out. They also have a gift shop and a Cafe, so you can get something to eat and drink. Also you can buy some souvenirs at a reasonable price.

As long as you get a private security guard to take you there, it's safe and got a good mix of animals and plants. It's like, one of two places to visit in Port Moresby, so as far as PNG goes it's one of the best sights in their capital.

My personal highlight during my visit to Port Moresby. Beautiful well-maintained tropical gardens, with myriad fascinating native species and local artefacts and traditional displays. Favourite part was the bird enclosure, with the cutest Eclectus Parrot who loves to talk and hang out.

Very fun! Went around Valentines Day with a group of friends. There was a photographer taking photos near the entrance and cute little heart set ups Love the Cafe there as well - burger is great. Workers are all friendly and professional

Wonderful place - a highly-recommended way to spend a relaxing morning or afternoon in Port Moresby. I have found that 2 hours is a good amount of time. I became a member after my first visit, just to support the park- because it’s so great. Sometimes I go just to have a peaceful walk.

Refreshing to see animals in large open habitats that are kept very clean. Quiet and peaceful spot to go and have a meal and a wander around.

It was absolutely fantastic. It is really well managed and cared for. The enclosures are neat and give a sense of being in the forest with the animals. A must see if you are visiting Papua New Guinea! With love from South Africa. Ps: Take some mosquito spray with if you forget, don't worry, they sell too.🤣

Very Clean and Organized, beautiful scenery for photography. Also the place is nice and safe for family outings, outdoor birthday parties, wedding parties or ceremonies and many more. If you happen to walk inside the park, you'll bump into either a security guard or a cleaner , all friendly people working there and most of all very professional when they approach you. Its a good place to relax and cool off after weeks or months of working in the heat in Moresby city or spending too much time indoor in the aircon. Come see it yourself reward your lungs with some fresh air.😊😍

It is a wonderful place, where people get to experience seeing the natural flora and fauna of the country. The birds were wondeful and one gets to see the snakes too. The walk through Aviary was the best experience. There is a different entry fee for locals and visitors

A beautiful setting with lots of greenery surrounding the aviaries and cages. While I appreciated the opportunity to see the birds and native animals it is always sad to see them in captivity. However they all looked well cared for. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. This park is easy for anyone staying in Port Moresby to visit.

What a fun day out wandering the lovely gardens, looking at the birds and animals in the walk in enclosures. Arrive at feeding time for the best viewing, the birds and animals will be so close and not afraid. There is ia cafeteria serving food and coffee and a gift shop however, we had a picnic at one of the many covered picnic tables. The place is huge with many clearly signed paths winding through thick rainforest and over creeks in some areas

Beautiful park, one can spend a quiet couple of hours here. It's within POM city limits and we'll maintained. There's a small cafeteria and gift shop inside. Best time to visit during the summer is around 9am in the morning, because it gets hot and humid in the afternoon.

It is filled with wonders of nature. All surroundings are beautiful and green. Animals are so unique. Also the Park encourages recycling waste products which is good for the plants and animals. Good location for picnics, birthday parties and celebrations to be held too. A perfect place for couples who's fond in nature too.😇 Papua New Guinean items are also held for display of the 22 provinces in the Nation.

Very nice place with a nice amount of animals to see. Walk around takes maybe an hour or so depending on your pace. You might also see a ton of huge fruit bats. Definely visit it if your around. There's also a souvenir shop, café and a playground for kids. Perfect place for families to visit. There might be some mosquitoes as it's a bit shady in the "jungle", so perhaps dress accordingly and use some repellents.

Lovely park, lots of shaded places to sit and have a picnic. Cafe and seating is clean and cool, we have only had milkshakes and hot chips there and they were really good. Amenities located throughout the park. Clean and cared for. Great to support this park. Lots of animals to see and a little playground for the kids. Masks are mandatory to enter and hand washing/sanitising stations around the park. Safe parking on site. Small souvenir shop with some lovely items.
