Certainly a 5 star hotel at much cheaper prices than another highly touted hotel near the airport. In town centre overlooking the sea. 20 mins to airport. Good wifi, hot water and air con. Rooms are brightly lit and service is excellent. Airport transfer provided by hotel.

The hospitality of their friendly staff is second to non. They would welcome you the moment you arrive and make you feel at home. Room service is great too. Love the rooms and all facilities. Beautiful view of the habitats

I've loved ❤️ and enjoyed every moment of my stay. Lunch, breakfast and dinner 🥣🍽️ was of an excellent 👌👍 standard. The room service was always prompt and update to date. The reception and staff were usually welcoming and warm. I'd be glad to recommend the place ❤️🙏💪 to my family and friends.

Friendly staff and yummy food. A classic Indian, continental, PNG, Filipono, Australian…. Foods to choose from. Place is a old building but management staff and Doing their best to up keep the safety decor and cleanliness. They various buffets on different days. Don’t forget to ask for the special beer offers. Real value for Money. Nice view of the ocean.

One of the oldest hotels in Port Moresby but still a great place to go! View to Ela Beach and the downtown city center, it is perched on the hill that gives that great view of both sides of downtown to Ela beach! Buffet is great and Conference facilities available. Location is convenient and taxis available right outside with walking distance to main town center and brisk walk up and down the hill to Ela Beach!

Refurbished rooms, great value. Food is excellent for the price. Staff need a little more training, but they try hard.

Attended a family wedding here. I must say the services are great as well the food choices. Some major renovations going on there but all in all, the environment was great, the staffs were friendly and very helpful. 👍🏼😊 Enjoyed the night at the bar too! Met new friends and I hope to visit again sometime soon. 💯❤️

The room was satisfactory with a nice view of Ela Beach. The property is safe and secure. The best part was the food.

It was the best. It has pool, wifi, gym, meeting room etc. The rooms are good and the service is top. Love it❤️❤️

It's an old hotel. But just like old wine, age brings out it's beauty and flavor. The rooms are unbelievably awesome 😎💯

Many of the rooms have been recently renovated with new bathrooms, tiled floors and fresh paint - much improved, though gremlins with plumbing, safes, and internet strength persist in some rooms. Friendly and helpful staff are the Crown Hotel's great strength. Restaurant menus have recently been expanded and offer some good choices. Ask for a room facing Ela Beach for great sea views.

Rooms were decent, beds were comfy and the view was amazing. Some downsides were I wasn't able to change the air con temperature and there were a couple roaches in the 2 rooms I booked. Service was ok - the guards at the gate were friendlier than the staff inside the hotel. no towels for the pool area provided

Decent place to go out for dinner. Great look out overlooking Ela Beach on Southern end and towards the via the restaurant you have the the busy downtown bustling with people and the CBD. Rooms are great and the service just wonderful!

Some of the best experiences of the Hotel when it was known as the Travellodge can not compare to this establishment which is now known as the Crown. Last visited back in the early 2000's. Went for coffee and with no one at the restaurant upstairs. Left for the Ela Beach Hotel.

Room phone not working. TV only showing Australian channels. Remote controls not working. Fridge parts missing. No welcome amenities. Restaurant menu limited. I also caught a sore throat from the hotel. Started needing the moment I entered the room. I also used the gym and I am afraid the gym atmosphere is quite disturbing. It seem stuffy. I could not stay on for more than 30 minutes. Recomendations; 1. Carry out maintenance on the air condition system and check out and maintain thw filters. 2. Regular maintenance to the gym. Hope this is helpful. Note. I am unable to recomend this hotel to anyone.

Friendly staff. Good service. However apparently all disrupted passengers residing at the Hotel aren't entitled to Room Service. But overall set out was satisfactory.

Well, I think this is not the greatest hotel but the best hotel where you can relax, dine and enjoy with your friends and families. It offers international standard rooms and foods. I would give it a 5 star if their rooms and food rates are not costly.

Great Location but the floors and rooms are old and musty. It seriously needs pest control. Cockroach infested.
