One of the best places to go for lunch if you're seeking authentic Papua New Guinea food. They serve a wide variety of dishes, but I highly recommend their seafood. With both indoor and outdoor dining options and delicious kulau (coconuts), it offers a great opportunity to enjoy.

A decent hotel with reasonable services within the given price range. The food for sure is fresh and good quality which makes it my choice amongst all the competitors. Worth trying. Services need to improve especially the internet speed is too slow to manage your workload. The staff and Ops manager are very responsive. Happy and healthy eating folks.

I love staying at the Sanctuary Hotel, when I am in Port Moresby. The staff are exceptionally friendly. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. (All rooms have an air conditioner.) The food at the hotel restaurant is another reason I love the Sanctuary. They have complimentary breakfast, plus a full menu for lunch and dinner. (Garlic prawns is one of my favorite meals.) The Sanctuary has a nice pool and pool-side area for sitting and eating. A primary benefit of staying at the Sanctuary Hotel is the location. It is 10 minutes from the airport, which is similar to many hotels in Port Moresby. The difference with the Sanctuary is that it is only 5 minutes from the Vision City mall, which is the main shopping location in Port Moresby. Vision City has multiple nice restaurants, mobile phone and electronics stores, pharmacies, a cinema and a large grocery/department store. The Sanctuary Hotel provides complimentary shuttles to and from the airport as well as the Vision City mall. I have stayed at the Sanctuary on solo trips. They have also been great at helping me to arrange accommodation for multiple reservations, when my team was in Port Moresby. The hotel's small conference room was perfect for our group of 8 to have team meetings. The Sanctuary is my 'go to' place in Port Moresby. I highly recommend it!

I love their food but the location and customer service is not good they were too slow and the food got cold. But I recommend if u want to taste some good food this place has the best food.

I stayed at the Sanctuary three times during my visit to PNG. The service is excellent, the rooms are very nice (very comfy beds), the food is great and the atmosphere is beautiful. I highly recommend staying there!

Spacious rooms in a beautiful garden environment. Friendly and accomodating staff who are always eager to assist guests. Located less than 10 minutes from the airport and from Vision City. Perfect!

Nice place to lay low and relax in the pool or have a massage including spa and many more. Rooms are so perfect that can suit you comfortably. Wifi is provided with good access of high internet speed.

I was staying in the city but came here for a dinner. i finally found a place which served local food which is "secure" by my country's advice. the food was lovely and big portions. the ceviche was lovely and south American👍🏼👍🏼. walking round the hotel, it was lovely and relaxed. nice pool and greenery everywhere. less businessman atmosphere and more holiday relax atmosphere. I had drinks with the tree kangaroos but went inside due to the mozzies. they were relentless. the food was surprisingly cheaper than in the western chain hotels and actually tastier I found. would definitely visit and potentially stay if I ever come back to POM city. enjoy my photos

I enjoyed my recent stay there. I loved that the pool is open to all in-house guest. The food was superb 👌 and the customer service provided was beyond my expectation. In the heat of Port Moresby during the day, the place is cool with all the lovely flowers and greenery all around. I would highly recommend Sanctuary Hotel Resort & Spa to anyone looking for a transit accommodation in POM.

The scenery there is just gorgeous.....went there a couple of times with the family and enjoyed our stay. Staff there were super friendly and welcoming with smiles all around. Highly recommend if you're looking for a family getaway or just want to relax by the pool with a few cold beers.

If you're looking for a decent, relaxing and affordable place to stay this is the place. Pool, Spa, and restaurant available here as well. Their restaurant offers a range of delicious affordable meals and opens to 10pm.

Great meals at affordable prices. Can order genuine PNG food here. Bed is 100% one of the best in PNG hotels. Spacious rooms. Great poolside ambience and overall the hotel is set amongst plants and you can hear the birds sing in the morning. Bird of paradise. Just an A+ hotel in PNG. I love staying here where possible.

My son absolutely loves the bed. Affordable luxury stay. Safe and secured only place you can connect to the wifi on more than 2 devices. Would be 5 stars if the pool was accessible all the time. Visited 4 times this year and pool was closed.
