I was down on my luck. I had just got my identity stolen and I was 10,000 in debt. I saw this little place on the horizon and decided, hey, I have 10 bucks left. Let me get something to make me feel better and anitanguyen12 noticed I was sad and asked what was wrong and I explained my situation. She said" OK, I'll handle it" and not even an hour later, the punk that stole my identity was in custody and I asked how she did it and she just replied "I'm always here to help". 10/10 would come here again.

Amazing service. Not all hero's wear capes. The owner stopped a moving car with her bare hands. My cake still arrived on time. But her little cousin took a massive bite out the side of it on the way because she got hungry. Still all and all very satisfied. Best bakery in Texas.

We ordered their sausage croissant (which looks like kolache) and bacon egg croissant. They’re both lived up to the hype. It’s so soft and flaky, makes me want to come back to try other sandwiches. It is best paired up with their Vietnamese-style coffee. Their coffee is to die for. ❤️

Amazing service! She went above and beyond for a wedding cake. Her vehicle got stolen with the cake in the back and she still managed to get it fixed perfectly without any damage and arrived on time! Truly a hero 💖💖

I've been going to the Golden Croissant, on highway 365 in Jefferson county,Texas, since it opened more than 20 years ago. It is a very clean and well-kept restaurant. It has a comfortable atmosphere and you can eat breakfast or lunch items, as well as pastries.

Listen, I like the Golden Croissant. I visit this place once every three or four years. I can’t explain why that is exactly. Today, I picked up the lunch special. Small sammie (I chose chicken, almond), with a small SOD (I chose corn and chicken) and a bag of Ruffles. I craved dessert and ordered an eclair and a cream puff. Nope. Just, no to the pastries for sure. The texture of the pastries was definitely indicative of a frozen product. It was like sand with sweetness. Not flaky. Not fresh. Pre-frozen. Bad. The sammie was good. The soup, canned chicken (barely there bits and pieces of it) and little bits of corn in a thickened by corn starch broth - close to a gel like texture. So now I remember that I never really go unless I’m super hungry and I don’t feel like waiting in a long line because it’s not really that good. Say, “no” to the Golden Croissant and head over to Jason’s Deli.

I can't say enough good things about the Golden Croissant! I've picked up cookies, pastries, King Cake, and a birthday cookie cake from them and EVERYTHING has been incredibly tasty! The Golden Croissant is the GO-TO place for the BEST King Cakes in Southeast Texas.. trust me! I ordered a cookie cake for my daughter's birthday and it was BETTER than Great American Cookie Co. The entire thing was eaten, not even a crumb left! If you're craving something sweet, you definitely need to check them out! They also have a lunch menu, but I just can't get past all the SWEETS!

We've ordered take out from them for lunch several times before going in and sitting down to eat today. Their food is always good, especially their desserts. All of their sandwiches are croissant based. The dining area is a little aged but well maintained. They have a wall that is a chalk board so the kids can write on it. Employees are always nice and super helpful. They do waiter as well. Edit: I stand behind my earlier comments.

Hidden gem in Nederland . We've tried multiple sandwiches. Chicken, shrimp and tuna are our faves. Must try their Danish/ fill croissants. The Vietnamese ice coffee is my favorite thing about this place.

I went by Golden Croissant to get a cream cheese croissant; I haven't eaten there in a while but remember how good I thought it was. This was about 3 weeks ago at 8am (this is early to have none). They had none. OK they sold out, so got 2 ham/cheese and blueberry cream cheese. Since then, I have gone by twice at 4:30pm (late in day could sell out), again no cream cheeses, but both times i bought other items. On third visit, I asked about the cream cheese and young lady was rude. So, today I went by at lunch time, about noon and went inside. Again, they have no cream cheese, this time i decided to go elsewhere to eat. Not only did they not have any for 4th time, but the guy behind counter was also rude. I said man this is 4th time I've come in here and no cream cheese. He says we have a number to make and when they are gone, they are gone. I said Well if they sell that good, maybe make more. His response was it is what it is. Today I was going to purchase a lunch and breakfast for tomorrow for 12 people. But lack of product, rude service, made me think, I would rather shop elsewhere.

Absolutely delicious broccoli soup! Best I've ever had. Chicken salad with almond was excellent. They have cut back on the amount they put on the sandwich. The pastries were good, just need more fruit in the croissants. Flavor was excellent. Overall, great!

One of the good restaurants near Port Neches, Port Arthur, Nederland, and groves to eat with family or byself. Good atmosphere inside. Customer service is friendly and nice. The chicken sandwich is good with chicken soup. Chocolate croissant is mouth watering. 😋 overall great local restaurant/bakery. 👍

Stopped here for lunch and enjoyed our sandwich choice. Only thing wrong was the menu prices on line are way wrong so be prepared to pay more. We couldn't pass up buying from the sweet treats on our way out.

They have these strawberry and cream cheese croissants that are amazing. Stop in if you want to get some nicely portioned bacon egg and cheese too.

Nothing here has yet to disappoint me. This is such a cute and underrated lunch spot in mid county. The croissant sandwiches are so good!

What's going on with golden croissant? I've been coming here for decades. The last few times we've come the food has not been as good as it normally is. The croissant seemed a little bit stale. It's still a good choice if you're sick of hamburgers but they need a little bit of quality control.

Really good spot for breakfast and lunch! Their food and desserts are always so fresh. They have the best croissants in the area and it’s not even close. Pro tip, don’t forget to get the Vietnamese coffee!
