It's
like
stepping
back
in
time
to
a
1950's-60's
supper
club.
Plastic-covered
table
cloths,
fading
Italian
artwork
on
the
paneled
walls,
and
an
"All-Sinatra-All-the-Time"
soundtrack.
The
table
staff
are
all
seasoned
pros
who
don't
hesitate
to
get
sassy
with
the
guests.
The
food
is
okay
-
but
not
much
more
than
that.
Our
dinner
companions
who
ordered
pasta
dishes
(Lasagna
and
a
variety
plate
with
Manicotti,
Ravioli,
and
Stuffed
Shells)
enjoyed
their
entrées
more
than
we
enjoyed
our
chicken
dishes.
The
chicken
breasts
in
our
entrées
(Chicken
Parmesan
and
Chicken
Porto
Fino,
named
for
the
restaurant)
had
been
pounded
too
thin
then
overcooked,
so
they
were
drier
and
tougher
than
they
should
have
been.
The
side
salad
was
unremarkable,
and
the
other
sides
were
not
worth
eating.
The
broccoli
arrived
cold
and
the
side
of
spaghetti
was
bland
and
ordinary
-
not
even
as
good
as
you'd
make
at
home,
much
less
restaurant
quality.
The
house-made
bread
didn't
meet
expectations
-
although
it
was
warm,
it
had
almost
no
detectable
flavor.
If
you
have
a
hankering
for
Italian
food
while
in
Daytona
Beach,
this
might
scratch
the
itch
somewhat,
but
I
predict
it
won't
be
a
highlight
of
your
stay.
