We visited Gami Chicken for Saturday Lunch. The ambiance was extremely peaceful with light music. Neat and Tidy desks with bright lit sittings. Just loved the new look. ❤️❤️❤️ The new food menu looked exceptionally delicious and it was hard to pick just one or two meals. We ordered the latest Gochu Mayo Chicken and Gami Ade Yuzu. It was beautifully presented with piping hot mozerella cheese rolls on the side.💕💕💕 The spicy showstrings fries was the best and any spice lover would enjoy it for sure. The portion of this meal was so big that me and my husband couldn’t finish it. Definitely visiting again !! Highly recommended 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Amazing food, helpful and friendly staff. What more is there to say, it's an all round 5 star restaurant! I have to recommend the Pumpkin Mousse it's divine!

Absolutely Fantastic Fun Night out! Parking = Tick, Service = Tick, atmosphere = Tick, Crispy Chicken = Tick, Beer = Tick. Kid Friendly = Tick Wait Time = For food that was cooked fresh I was pleasantly surprised how quickly my meal arrived. Also even though they were busy the meal was served with smile and when we couldn't eat anymore the staff packed it all up for me, nothing was to much trouble. (again with a smile) Will we come back = That's a BIG Tick

The parama was awesome and wicked painting on the walls. Pity 8 other people in 1 group could NOT talk softly instead of talking super loud and staff or managers didn't care. Good feed for the price

Nice and clean restaurant with very friendly staff. The chicken was amazing. The portions are so big and the prices are reasonable. We ordered one meal and fries but couldn't finish them and took away almost half of it.

Edited: Went yesterday and had their boneless chicken and tteokbokki, I have to say I was disappointed with the quality. Tteokbokki sauce was very dilute even though there was lots of it (it almost looks like a soup), so it was pretty bland to eat it with the rice cakes in it. The chicken, whilst crispy, I would say overcooked. Many of the pieces were so dry it was hard to bite or eat. Very sad that one my favourite place for fried chicken has gone south. The place has a nice, fun vibe. It needs Korean music though! Had their boneless fried chicken which was nice, soy garlic sauce was beautiful. Had their spicy beef bulgogi which was nice. What is missing is Kimchi! Had kimchi pancake which was ok. I was so excited to see hotteok on the menu, I thought I better give it a go. I never had proper hotteok, only made at home of packet ones. It was thicker than I thought, just need more filling! Needs a lot more that cinnamon sugar! But overall very happy to have Korean fried chicken at this side of the suburbs. Edited: Went again and this time they play Korean songs! How happy I was to see this improvement! Also tried their deep fried prawn mandu and it was so nice! It was filled densely with prawns and yummy. Edited: This time tried potato heaven and it was very heavy. Definitely way too much for 2 people, I would say would be good for 3-4 people to share. The sauce is what makes this amazing, plus the stringy cheese of course. Also tried japchae mandu. It was ok, again the sweet sauce is what makes it ok. I would much rather the prawn mandu next time. Their soda drinks are very nice.

Best Gami Chicken place around. The staff set this place apart, and the dishes were served quickly and tasted delicious. Oh and you have to try the chips - amazing!

6 months ago I ordered from Gami and the boneless chicken was these beautiful large succulent tasty pieces, now it's these tiny morsels of about half the quality and size. Tonight I ordered a salad and it was literally just a tiny tub of lettuce leave that they charged $4.40 for! I called up about what I assumed was a mistake and got ranted at about the price of their rent! Terrible food, terrible service, overpriced!

Absolutely love this place, My burger and sides tasted great especially super crunch chips. The staff are very polite, helpful and very attentive. Would totally recommend this place. I look forward to coming back during the summer.

Dine in on Sunday night. Every dish we ordered tonight is excellent. Salad is fresh, chips are crispy and cooked to perfection. Fried chicken and burger are great. Wait staff is friendly and attentive, she explained the menu well. It's a quiet night, food come out pretty fast.

Gami has always been a favourite for our family, but in the last few years the quality has changed. We love getting the boneless chicken pieces and now we end up with a few quality chicken pieces and the rest appears to be skin. The value for money is not worth it at all. I have noted that the quality has been bad across numerous stores. What once was great is now a disappointment.

Excellent customer service and faster than expected serving time. Nice ambience and great looking menu. Fried chicken pieces a little too chunky for my liking, slightly dry. Honey soy dipping sauce was yummmmm.

This place was always great. I hadn't been in a good while, went last night and it was obvious ownership has changed. Awesome friendly staff in there! However the amount of food I received was really poor. For the price I paid with previous owners I would have got double the amount of chicken. And a complimentary coleslaw/radish bites. Food was still delicious but wont be going back

About two weeks ago my parents and I sat in and both ordered chicken burgers. The sauce was great but the meat was chewy, with lots of hard bits and seemingly undercooked. We couldn’t finish our food and were concerned about getting sick from it, which luckily didn’t happen.

I can't stop coming back to this place. Exceptional service, and mouthwatering food. The chicken is always juicy, and the soy garlic sauce is to die for. Shout out to Daniella from the lilydale branch, for her amazing service tonight, and the smile constantly on her face. Thank you for the continued good food!

I was very surprised at how tasty the prawn burger was. With Menulogs App falling over, I finally managed to place my order online and I made a good choice of restaurant, I think. Korean food is different to my normal style of eating but I did really enjoy it. The Crunchy chicken burger was outstanding too. I have dined in before and that was a great experience. Super friendly and helpful, good food and good vibes. I wasn’t sure what the Bong Bong grape drink was and until you have it, you’ll never imagine the fresh and fruity flavour either. I’d recommend this place.

Clean, bright, and friendly! Love the wall art and the kimchi pancake was crisp and hot and perfectly balanced. The honey mustard is fantastic & the standout star of the sauces (and I’m not even a honey mustard fan!). Service was prompt and comprehensive. Will definitely return. :)

Absolutely amazing experience! Nathan hosted us and totally made the night. He was absolutely amazing with our kids and food / drink service. The food was on point as always and it was so much nicer coming in to dine as we tried new things and were blown away for the drinks and different food. Thank you so much for a great night. The experience at Gami's was absolutely amazing! The portions are massive and VERY filling. The atmosphere was great, the food and drinks tasted AWESOME and all the employees were very friendly!! Will be returning!

My family loves Gami. We ordered takeaway online and was pretty disappointed with the boneless chicken - was lots of battered skin. The full bits of chicken we did have tasted amazing though 🤷‍♂️

Delicious fried chicken (I had the spiciest one and it was hot and tasty), and wonderfully friendly service. Definitely worth checking out for more than just takeaway.

Food was ok and delivery was quick....BUT... ordered family pack 1.Did not receive Mandu 2. Did not receive free dumpling (order a full chicken) 3. Something happened to the potato heaven dish, unfortunately it was inedible, I think they accidentally dropped a whole salt cannister in it 🤯 When I rang they said, oh maybe we could give you a free one next time!

Staff are amazing, food was great. Awesome vibes inside restaurant!! The spicy sauce is not hot enough, it is more like a mild sauce..

Ordered on Uber eats Ordered gami half chicken with garlic sauce and receive no sauce. The chicken is very plain without it. Not very happy.

Portuguese chicken is so 2019. Korean Chicken is the wave of the future. Amazing fried chicken, and a wide range of flavours.

I came here for lunch on the weekend, i left full and satisfied. The waiter was friendly and helpful in explaining the menu, the food itself was delicous and the restaurant was clean. The chicken was unbelievably crispy on the outside but still tender and juicy inside, the chips were perfectly cooked and the sauce on top was nice. The salad was a bit simple; being just lettuce but the dressing gave it a lovely flavour.

Super service. Great place for a family birthday. The staff really went out of their way to accommodate us. Tried their new coffee machine too. Would highly recommend them.
