    Absolutely disappointed Sydney tools Carrum downs I WILL NEVER BE GOING THERE AGAIN OR RECOMMEND THEM. I will be going back to where I regularly buy from. Where do I start. “Jet” the staff member that works there was absolutely rude and unprofessional in everything he did. With me having to follow up where my item was 2 weeks after he said it would 100percent be at the store 2 weeks prior to me turning up with no items there. He has recently abused me over the phone saying “he’s happy to loose my business” and “ go complain to head office good luck to you cause I’ll tell them the real story” (there is no different story to being treat like this. ) I had 2 staff members apologies on jets behalf from this behaviour and told me what he was doing was wrong. Very disappointed and don’t appreciate this by any means. I’ll be taking this to the further as this is not acceptable.

    The Staff at Sydney Tools Carrum Downs are good people and mean well :) unfortunately the people who run Sydney tools are NOT ! they are not really interested in customer support or moral and ethical business. They do not reply to customer concerns on their email system at all. I will avoid dealing with this company at all costs. Think long and hard before you deal with them ! Your reply is not factual !! here we go again!!! I have had no written reply from Sydney tools, and the product was available !! the price went up $500 after I had paid and had been confirmed was in stock. The item was clearly promoted at that price on the internet . That advertisement was removed at the time of your stuff up. If you are going to reply to people be accurate.

    Well it's time to hang up my happy customer title. Today I was served by the most rude and aggressive staff member. He had a simple task to do but was aggressive and was trying to start an argument. Strangely when I was in almost three months ago he was in conflict with another customer. I won't be shopping there again and will be going back to Total Tools.

    Store was out of stock of the item I purchased online, 5 daysster the haven't even initiated a refund. Going back to Bunnings. Correcting their mistake is not easy, you have to use a chat box and then they promise to email you but so far I've heard nothing.

    This store customer service is shocking. I purchased Karcher washer when l go back to store for faulty unit they advise me sorry we are not dealing with this l need to speak with customer service not sure but happen people at main desk very unprofessional rude. Never go back to this people in future.

    I send in my milwaukee grinder because it wasn’t working and I thought it was the bearing that needed replacing and I told them that. I paid for an inspection fee. I didn’t have time to fix it. They told me a day later they checked it over and to fix it would be more than a new one ( over $400) any way I decided I would have a look myself. I opened it up and the broken bearing was still inside with all the balls so I assume they didn’t even open it, i did some research online, found the part number for the new bearing $7for a new one, put it in and it worked. I paid for an inspection fee and I don’t even think they took a look inside and they just told me it would be cheaper to get a new one, not happy, won’t be shopping here again.

    Make sure you check you tax invoice with this place! had the wrong invoice given to me. Then the next time they said they would look after the pricing on a few items then charge me the full shelf price! Do not trust this store...

    Very bad and unethical service in this store (and previously it had been good). Manager apologised and was reasonable, but the offending staff member who was negligent and then tried to overcharge for a totally unnecessary service, was anything but. Incredibly arrogant. Will avoid this store and chain.

    Click and collected this morning, I purchased ITM industrial products, Disc Grinding Machine that came with a bonus guide, I have just unboxed to see there is no bonus guide inside, I ring Sydney Tools prior to purchase and was told it is in the box and that they checked, No they didn’t check at all. I just rang to have them say ring us back middle of January to sought this problem, I asked would you like my details and note this I formation to only be told just ring back in the middle of January. Like is this how you actually operate in business sell then don’t care, I was told ITM won’t be contactable until then, I bet I prove you wrong on Tuesday as a company of this nature does not shut down. Very disappointed on your customer skills and for follow up, I will be taking it back to Pakenham store for them To sought as they did the chasing a store which had stock. See it’s not there. You should keep up to date with the bonus offers you have on Web site , As I was going to order a drill press. I will pass on that due to your behaviour today.

    “Warning Danger“ I came in to exchange my D size welding gas Cyclinder, the man on the counter eating his lunch said he would have a look for a change over Cyclinder, he returned carrying a full E size Cyclinder over his shoulder still eating his lunch - I said mate this is not a OH&S excepted way to carry a full Cyclinder, if you dropped it could break off the valve and kill people ! - besides it’s the wrong size and the wrong gas type……..

    Some of the staff are lazy. We had the faulty part fixed and received a free blade however Daniel doesn't have very good customer service skills for a Manager. The repair guy and one of the other staff members were lovely but overall wouldn't shop here again

    At the entrance shop assistant demanded to leave my bags at the checkout. I thought he meant my shopping from next door store, but after collecting my carry bag, he demanded I must leave my handbag at checkout before entering the store. I'm pretty sure it is unlawful. Further complaints will be forwarded to Victorian Consumer Affairs. Cheers.

    Very poor service and very unprofessional in their approach. I gave them my drill for repairs and was quoted one price and then asked to pay another price. Could not inform me because they wrote the wrong email and when I then agreed to the new price because i was already inconvenienced they promised me a date and again failed to deliver. When i then asked for to get my not fixed drill and refund back to go somewhere else to fix it they refused!! And then miraculously found a part to fix the drill. Then they took the drill back to the service room to fix it. Then in 5 mins they returned and told me they replaced the parts but the drill is still not working and is doing the same thing as before. I told them I am not happy and told to give my drill back and fix it elsewhere. When i said that (there 3 others around) and aggressively told me it is fixed or take it further if thats what you want to do. I am very disappointed i wasted my time, my money and my drill still doesn’t work. Never again to Carrum Downs Sydney Tools I wish to be fair as I used to shop from Sydney Tools in Nunawading and everything was perfect!!

    Had the pleasure of dealing with Jack regarding a warranty claim that another store refused to honour. During the whole interaction Jack was courteous, professional and extremely helpful. Great customer service is a rarity these days, but Jack delivered in spades.

    I went to the store looking for a specific tool to cut metal. A team member named Jack directed and even offered to carry the product to the counter. He made sure I was well looked after and even checked with another worker to make sure the product was well priced and suitable to the job I needed. A+ to this store

    Purchased a Makita drill that was missing all the accessories, called and was told to just come in and get them, went in no accessories could be found. Then was told they would be ordered in, a month ago, no word from the shop, sent an email last week and no response. Poor customer service and no follow up, I would hate to have to claim a warranty though these guys.

    My partner made a click & collect order & went to pick it up as it was ready. All but one product was ready to collect & it was being ordered in (was more than happy to wait). Followed up with the manager, apparently my partner had already picked up that item but had zero footage or paperwork to confirm he received that product which he never did! Eventually the manager agreed to reorder it in & would give us a call once it had arrived to be picked up. Followed up AGAIN after a few weeks (10/6) to be told that nobody has ordered that product in & no note of it was ever written down. He said it would give me a call tomorrow (11/6) to organise reordering that item in / to see what stock they have but no surprise haven’t received no call. Obviously the company needs to provide more training to the ‘managers’ since it seems to be a very difficult task of ordering a product in / contacting a customer back. Request a credit note or refund - rather take my business elsewhere & not waste time with people who cannot do their job properly.

    Great service with a smile. Tonight I turned up 10min before closing which I never do! I had been somewhere else and they didn't have what I needed and I just happened to see this store on my way home. They had what I wanted and I paid and the helpful, friendly young man helped put it in my car all by closing time (I truly hope so anyway). Thank you, it was very much appreciated - especially as at no time did I feel unwelcome. Lovely, helpful staff.

    I bought a air compressor. It's got faulty with in a week time. It's took me waiting for 10 days to repair it and still they say it will take another 2 weeks to pick up. If anything goes wrong you will be in trouble with Sydney tools. Please buy something from a place which can either be replace or fix it with in some timeframe. If something goes wrong you will be in trouble.

    I recently purchased a Milwaukee 52” 11 drawer mobile workbench from Sydney Tools at Carrum Downs, which was my first time shopping at the store. After excitedly deciding on the product i wanted, I approached the staff member at the counter. I was not offered a discount after asking the staff member if there was a discount available, there was no delivery options provided to me and the staff member stopped the transaction to write down his KFC order to his colleague before finalising the transaction. I then couldn’t believe my eyes when i watched the staff member wheeling out the display stock, which was covered in dust, had deep scratches all over and was told that they had no stock out the back. It was never explained to me that it was display stock only!! The staff then asked if i needed a hand to load the product in my car, which weighed over 200 kilograms and clearly was too heavy for my partner and I to lift on our own. I felt nothing but regret for the purchase and was left in complete disbelief at the level of poor service I had experienced. I feel I was taken advantage of, being a polite customer. But this experience was simply not good enough, nobody should feel such regret after spending this large amount of money which took me months to save. I will not be returning to Sydney Tools.
