I'm a born and raised Trinidadian and after trying the food, I can definitely say that this is the place for doubles, buss-up shut (paratha) and roti (dhalpuri) in West Palm Beach. Great service too. Big up to the whole team at Chunkay!

What a lovely gem. Authentic Trinidadian food. The taste will immediately transport you back home. Everyone is so friendly. I love the stew chicken, curry chicken, curry shrimp and fried wontons. I also recommend trying the sorrel and coconut water. There's also an online ordering system to save time.

Great meal and experience I had at Chunkay! The place is in a very unassuming industrial area. First dining experience with Trinidadian food. It was quite delicious .It gives my taste buds a cross between Jamaican and Indian cuisine. I had the curry goat roti. Chunks of goat with a slightly spicy curry sauce and some potatoes and chickpeas with some delicious buttery, flaky roti.Evita was very helpful with my decision making of what to order.

We love the food at Chunkay. We live part time in palm beach gardens 18 min away from this new find .It’s home cooked food away from home and more. My husband loves the doubles and Dhaal puries. The chicken curry is tasty. Goat curry is chunks of tender meat no bones in a tasty curry sauce . The food is always fresh and made to order. Peanut punch is delish as a dessert or as a smoothie, snack on the go from the airport. Definitely a keeper !The staff and owner is super friendly , place is immaculate, bathrooms are clean !! Overall a tasty find on my list.

I normally don't go five stars across the board on my reviews, but my first trip to Chunkay is high on my favorites list. The food and the flavors are absolutely phenomenal, and blend so well together. My meal started with some of their fresh corn soup that was vibrant and absolutely delicious. Then for the main course, a curried goat with Dhalpuri; one of the few times I've had goat and will definitely order this again. For a drink, I took a chance on Basil Lime juice which I never had before, and I can't explain why, but the flavors just worked so well. Evita was extremely welcoming and kind, and Wendy is a master in the kitchen. So glad a friend introduced me to Chunkay, and I can't wait to go back when I'm in the area! If you enjoy Trinidadian food or just want an awesome new place to go, I can't recommend Chunkay enough! Best Trini food I ever had. We ordered the “Doubles” appetizer, which I highly recommend. You can choose from mild or hot. I never knew curry chickpeas could taste so exceptional . The main meal was the Curried Goat Roti and once again my belly was delighted. The flavor was unbelievable. Due to the spices, I ordered the basil lime juice which was refreshing. Every meal is made to order and the juices are homemade. Chunkay definitely hit the spot. Thank you so much for your hospitality. We will be back❤️

Really amazing Trinidadian food with such friendly staff. My favorite items were definitely the doubles and the corn soup. For drinks we tried the basil lime, passion fruit and then the soursop shake with plant based milk. WOW so so so good! We will absolutely be back for more!

Food was truly flavorful!!!! I tried Roti w/curried shrimp, doubles,stewed Chicken and mash potatoes and the corn soup .. The smell walking in smelled delicious! Like real authentic Trinidad cuisine. It's so good. I will definitely go back I want to try some other things on the menu. The environment was so welcoming and everything made to order. We did take out and it was on a Sunday.

When I walked into this restaurant for me it felt like home , I was greeted as soon as I opened the door , it’s super clean , the aesthetic is very island like , I ordered my food while I waited i was given my fresh coconut water which was amazing! I ordered the vegan food was a 7 out of 10 for me all in all everything was pretty good customer service amazing! Will visit again.

This restaurant is a home run, slam dunk, and a touchdown. I got the Asian Fried Rice with Stewed Chicken, two orders of doubles, and the Basil Lime drink, which is like a Starbucks refresher but more satisfying. The stewed chicken was immaculately delicious, as it slid off the bone and onto my fork. A welcoming, tasteful ambience greets you and reminds you of home. Some restaurants depend on customers returning, but Chunkays THRIVES on it. I will be coming back surely
