We walked in here randomly for some weekend afternoon drinks, chatted up a friendly couple at the bar... They said they're going to Beau & Mos for dinner. "What's Beau & Mos?" Next thing we knew, and thanks to the two lovely ladies, we ended up going there too for an epic steak dinner at the bar! They had table reservations so we didn't crash their party lol :D This should probably be a review for B&M :D Anyway, my point is that the folks we met at Enigma are fun and friendly!

Literally so much fun. Dancing and good music in a small but cozy space. Bartenders and even security are very kind. They accidentally bumped into us and we dropped our drink and they immediately replaced it. Drag queens and the whole experience ♥️♥️♥️

If you are looking for a place with a Great atmosphere, scooter parking, and open late, this place is for you. The drag show was phenomenal. They have an open air bar area as well. Bartenders were friendly.

Love this place. Thoroughly enjoy the outdoor seating. This place gets BUSY BUSY. Music is fun and the 11 pm drag show is awesome 👌 security is on point and I felt safe the whole time. The bathrooms are "bar" bathrooms...God bless who has to clean them.

Had an amazing time there. I was suggested the fruity pebbles martini and the banana cream martini and they were absolutely delicious. Even though I went on a Sunday night my friends and I had and amazing time. Everyone felt very welcoming.

The bartender there name Chris, is an absolute angel! Great service, great drinks, great music, this place is a must see if you've never been. Trust me you will not be disappointed!.. you might even find you a companion, if you're single 😉

Had a fun time here. I feel like this bar has something for everyone. There is outdoor seating with TV playing sports, pool tables, and a dance floor with decent music. Staff was very nice. I got drinks from Kerissa last night and she was probably one of the best bartenders I’ve ever seen. Made my drinks SUPER fast and was very attentive.

It is what it is. The local gay bar where everybody knows your name. Service is good and it serves a purpose but I never felt like the Energy of the place flowed. Maybe it’s because you’re sitting on the sidewalk and it’s cut off from the rest of the galley like bar. Or maybe I just miss George’s alibi

Loved this pace for years but now it's not the same takes forever to get waited on and help is NOT friendly. I just want to add that the staff has totally up their game, bartenders completely rock....and I have been so happy to be back home to our community bar. Completely recommend Enigma for a great time day or night

Much better music for the Pride event than the Floridian Social Club! The only downside was that there were too many bodies in there & not enough airflow literally shoulder to shoulder and we couldn't breathe or move.

I cannot explain how much I love Enigma and the staff. Everyone is extremely welcoming, kind, and helpful. It is my third home after my apartment and work. 🥰 Tyler, Justin, Chris, Steven, Tobias, Nate... I love you all!!! 😍

This bar is dirty, old, and has limited outdoor seating. Every time I go the “manager” and his friends are using up all the outside tables and are super rude (all of them smoke none stop too) . I stopped going because this place sucks compared to the other bars in the area, especially cocktails. There also a bunch of flies and it smells gross outside. This owner needs to learn how to get his staff to clean…… two bars open but no one cleaning makes no since.

It is one of the best gay bars that I've been to in a very long time at a beautiful time there I will definitely keep going back there

A welcome bar/club with great nighttime staff. The security guys have fielded some wild weeknight shenanigans with a particular grace and muscle you don't find many places. Karaoke with KJ Craig is always a good time, and the bar staff is always pleasant and fairly quick during the weekdays I've been. All varieties of queer welcome and celebrated, and more recently, fairly tolerant of a young hipster-esque crowd.

We had a nice time. The Bartender is friendly and attentive. Great drink specials. The Margaritas were made with fresh lime juice. We went on a Saturday afternoon. It was mostly men there, but all in all we had a nice time.

The location, performances, and security are good. The power hungry bartenders not so much. I have been a few times and experience is always the same. I recommend paying only with cash and only purchasing pre-packaged drinks. You will either get lower grade of alcohol, additional additive you didn’t ask for (continue to read reviews as you will see how they tend to “spike” drinks”) and if dare call them on it they keep your card and demand you leave. You can email the establishment, owner use to have Albi, but you never get a response. I luckily locked the the card immediately through the app. I also reported to credit card company. This type of management of allowing associates to treat patrons at will is what causes adverse treatment to the LGBTQ community. Enigma does not represent gay St. Pete or have any pride. Totally pathetic and unprofessionally ran.

Great place to have a drink and spread some love! Drink specials are amazing! Staff are super friendly and make you feel at home.

The Friday shows are a little lackluster - 2 shows and 3 girls. In my opinion the girls had the opportunity to work the whole bar but didn’t. They did ask if anyone was celebrating anything, which made it kind of fun.

Fun atmosphere. Mixed crowd. Mostly gay. Straight friendly. Easily to access. Parking can be hard to find sometimes. However usually always a great experience. Good music. Good drinks. And amazing bartenders. Truly love this little gem.

Bogo drinks on Sunday ...Praise the Lord! ...(COPD) Church starts at noon. If you aren't too scared, we are always looking for new members.

The music is nothing to write home about but the experience is worth it. Love seeing like minded and open people just taking drinks and communicating. Will definitely be going here again! Also the bartenders are a sight and actually know how to make a drink! Double bonus

Spent my 61st birthday here, 09/30/22. Everyone from Nick who got me birthday drink, beautiful drag queen getting me on stage for twerking contest ( I came in 2nd 🤣) to amazing warm & welcoming customers. As straight woman who got into 1st gay bar at 17 it was a trip down memory lane & amazing fun & lovely time. I was alone because family & friends were tied up with Hurricane Ian issues but I felt like I was with family & friends. Thanks to all at Enigma ❤️

It used to be better in my opinion. It has been in a bit of a decline (at least the last few times I've been there). You can still find nice people there and the music is fine. I may have not been lucky, the last couple of times I went there on a weekend it was close to empty.

Great place to have wonderful cocktails. There's a pool table you can play for $1.50. Bartenders are really friendly and attentive. The security is very professional and hospitable. I will definitely go back

I used to love this bar, new bartenders aren’t trust worthy tho. Currently disputing 4 charges on my card where over $100 of extra tip was added to my transactions. Don’t pay with card.

I was downtown strolling, stopped there for a late afternoon margarita. Old school gay bar, older crowd, dark interior. Loud, thin sounding sound system, lots of distortion. Very attentive bar tenders, good margarita, though.

Last night on New Year's was an amazing atmosphere! Me and my partner loved the music, drinks, and our bartenders of course were rocking as always ❤️ The security people made us feel safe and kept mask and safety procedures in check. all in all I DEFINITELY recommend 👌 -Toni

Fun and friendly bartenders. Josh took great care of me and knew alot about the liquor they carried. Made an excellent specialty cocktail. Im not very knowledgeable of mixed drinks but he made some wonderful drinks. The music is wonderful, the atmosphere is very comfy and accepting. I will be back. Thank you!!

It’s a great place to hangout. Everyone is welcome, gay straight and everyone in between. The drinks are good. Music always playing with an outdoor covered patio. The front bar services the front of the club and the outdoor patio. The rear bar services the crowd on the raised platform that accommodates groups and people that would prefer to be away from the bustle of the crowd. They have one pool table that cost $1.50 per game. They have a dart board, but I haven’t played darts there yet so I don’t know how much it is per game. Overall, it’s a great place to go to have some fun for a few hours. Enjoy

I have a love hate relationship with this place. I think it's way too loud with not the best music but it's always full of people and quite fun. Drinks are great during happy hour but can get pricey. Still worth going to when you are in the mood. Great location too.

I went for Sunday Funday late afternoon. So fun and crowded. All ages and types hanging inside and outside. Some brought their dogs. Great happy hour prices too. Beautiful part of downtown. I stayed quite a while and met some awesome people. Can't wait for my next trip to visit.
