There are so few Asian restaurants in this part of Florida, so we thought we would try this place. We are from the northeast where there are many great Asian restaurants that have earned loyal repeat customers. For people who haven't been to Asia or a large US city, then you can fill your tummy with this barely adequate food and be okay with it. But for me, this place was a real disappointment. I ordered the yakisoba - basically spaghetti with tofu and a smattering of uncooked vegetables. It was bland. The hubby got beef nagi maki, which had an unpleasant texture and not a lot of flavor. The service was prompt, but not at all friendly. I don't recommend this restaurant that has a mish mash of all types of Asian dishes, better to specialize and perfect one type than to flop in all types.

Absolutely LOVE this restaurant! Every single time I've been there it's been welcoming, with good atmosphere and awesome service. I've not once had a problem with any of their food and it's always delicious.

So we've decided to expand our taste and where we go to eat. This let us down to Sebastian where we found Taste of Asia. Taste of Asia is a unique and hidden little restaurant that combines various Asian cuisines into a wonderful menu of delights. The restaurant sits off the road in a small group of eclectic shops. There appears to be another restaurant as well as a small bar. But at the time we arrived, these were all closed. The interior of the restaurant is small and clean and quaint making a pleasure will place for a night's repasse. For tonight's dinner, we had Bulgogi, General Tao's chicken, and Hibachi chicken. Each was amazingly exquisite in taste and generous and portion as attested by our pictures. The only down side was that compared to typical Chinese restaurants the prices are higher. Not substantially more, but enough that at least two people who came into the restaurant turned around and left after seeing the menu. But looking at the menu, it becomes obvious this is not your typical Chinese restaurant. There are dishes from Korea, Thailand, Japan, and China. After our pleasant experience, I'm certain we will be back again. Maybe not in the near future, as I stated we were trying to expand our go to places and there are so many great restaurants in Brevard and Indian River counties. So, maybe it's time for you to expand your list of restaurants you go to. I can only highly recommend you try Taste of Asia.

Small, quaint restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor deck over looks a small pond with a fountain. There are also small white lights creating a relaxing environment. The food was delicious although not quite as pictured on their menu. General Tso chicken and dumplings were very good. The rice paper wraps were sub par.

We had lunch here yesterday (12/1/2018) and loved their food, location, decoration and service. It is located among a lot of other nice little shops. You can also sit outside. We ordered Sesame balls and Edamame to start our lunch. Our main dishes were Hibachi Chicken and Pad Thai scallops. For dessert we shared Mochi ice cream. Everything tasted very fresh and delicious.

Very Good food. Service is a little lacking because of understaffing for their busy take out business. Overall, I recommend at least trying their food.

The food was Awesome!!! The service was good, not great. We got our salads and within minutes one dinner came out. Also, We went on a double date night. They served one of the four of us his dinner and the rest of the three meals did not come out for at least 15 minutes later. It was very awkward. Us trying to make him eat so his food would not get cold, yet him uncomfortable since us ladies did not have our meals. But again, the food was awesome!

Ate there last night. Large variety of Asian food and all of it was very good. We had the shrimp and asparagus, Hibachi Salmon, Shrimp and scallops. We sat on the back porch by the water fountain. View was very nice and the food was delicious.

Normally, i like this place a lot more, today the clear soup tasted watered down and slightly taneny. Didn't vibe with the cripsed onions at all. The pad thai was very good though, i enjoyed the gyoza thouroughly. Defintely gonna come back and see if the clear soup is any better next time. Left feeling refreshed. "4 outa 5 for the east coast vibe. Keepin is freezy, keepin breezy. For fresh land vibes, sit outside"

A stunning chic hidden gem in Sebastian, Fl. Off Rt 1 at The Villages Shopping area, this restaurant has a lovely porch facing a fountain in a tropical setting. The cuisine ranges from great appetizers to Vietnamese as well as lovely Korean and Tai dishes. Served with fresh salads or soup. Don't miss out on there creative desserts as well. Beer, wine, sake as well as hot and ice tea are nice beverage choices. The staff is 5 star all the way! We feel like members of there family. Please treat yourself and your loved ones to this very special dining experience.

We both ordered shrimp and scallops, come with soup or salad, both very small size, we both have tea which is $2.50 each (most Asian restaurants don’t charge tea), with 20% tip, the dinner is $65. The dining room is very tiny, loud, no privacy. There is a outdoor area.

Service, Service and Great Service! Michelle was our waitress and she was fantastic. Cups were always full, perfect order accuracy and she doted on our toddler. The food was really good too! Everything came out really hot. The fried oysters had just the right amount of batter and were quite tasty. I loved the fried green tomatoes and the French Onion Soup was about the best I've ever had! Flawless!

This is definitely a local must-do favorite on US 1. An intimate little restaurant on the way thru Malabar to Sebastian, with great food and an antique showcase all around as you dine, this is a great stop. There's no way you could read thru all the wall hung history, but im sure all the locals, who are friendly regulars, could help with some of the back stories. Even though the food can be a tad greasy, its still better than most, and very reasonable.

  • 5/5 Rita l. 3 years ago on Google
We visited this restraint about 10 years ago and since has new owner, we love this place and love having Michelle as our waitress. The food is priced very reasonable and the portions are large. Great place and great food.

  • 5/5 Kent 5 years ago on Google
We had a very good experience. The service was better than what I've had in a long time and the food just right. From the specials board we tried the blackened fish sandwich which was great, soft bun and all. The building is quite old but it was spotless and very well taken care of. If you're on a road trip down US1 and want good food for a good price this is worth a try.

Omg! Words can’t express how amazing this little joint is. The atmosphere is so great (lots of antiques decorating the wall). The down home cooking. Lots of great daily specials. Chicken Pot Pie, Meatloaf, homemade chicken tenders. House made soup! Desserts that are amazing to name a few! Our server Michele was entertaining and attentive. The prices are low especially for a resort town. Make sure you stop here!

Found this gem Christmas night while vacationing in Vero. The menus had almost every dish I enjoy however I chose the hibachi salmon which was perfect. My sewed salad was great and the service was prompt and efficient . My wife enjoyed the tofu and her side was soup which she enjoyed. The price was perfect.

  • 5/5 Dani W. 1 year ago on Google
Easily the best General Tso in town and it's not even close. If you like it with a kick, ask for it a little extra spicy! 🔥 The miso soup is also delicious, and make sure you save room for the tempura cheesecake. Definitely worth the price! Will absolutely be ordering again.

  • 5/5 Jason H. 2 years ago on Google
There food is delicious, the prices are a little high but it's the best Asian food in all of Sebastian. We order take out or occasionally through door dash. Never eaten inside so no idea about their wait staff. Portions are huge.

We tried this restaurant and we were all disapponted. Pictures of foods in the menu looks great but the real foods were not. Prices are a bit high, i will said the service is just average. Not coming back

  • 4/5 Amanda G. 2 years ago on Google
The food is good, not as good as it used to be. They have an eggplant dish I want the recipe for, their curries are quite good, and their drunken noodles are the ones I get if I don't want to make them at home. Some of the other stuff is decent. The service is okay.

  • 5/5 Jennifer M. 1 year ago on Google
Very clean with a nice atmosphere. Friendly staff with quick service and the food was delicious. I finally found a place with acceptable fried rice as well. It was the best by far.

  • 5/5 Tammy M. 1 year ago on Google
Such great food. Very thing is so tasty. The Bibimbap is a must try. Everything we had was excellent. But when they say spicy they really mean it.

  • 3/5 Renee M. 1 year ago on Google
Based on reviews I saw on Facebook I treated friends to lunch. Would not go back. The meal was mediocre and the service was slow and not all that attentive. I ordered green curry and it was almost unrecognizable as curry. I’ve never had a green curry like that. I ate it, but it wasn’t a dish I would recommend. Others said they liked their meals, but nobody raved about them. Overall just not that good.

  • 5/5 Buster 7. 1 year ago on Google
First time there. Started off slow but worth the wait. Split the hibachi plate with my wife. Ordered dumpling things first. OMG the dumplings were so good. The hibachi didn’t let me down either. Next time we split it however I will add extra rice. That’s the only thing I learned except I will be back!!

  • 5/5 Honest R. 1 year ago on Google
Great service , fast and friendly. Food came out hot and quick, everything was beyond delicious. Place is so peaceful and clean. Let me tell you, this tempura ice cream was so amazing i could eat 10. I enjoy the young boy who greets us at the door, he’s very sweet and polite and does a great job. 20/10 would come back again and again!

  • 5/5 Luis L. 1 year ago on Google
This place has no business being this good!! Even the chicken didn't have that old and dry taste. The mushroom soup was tasty and the general taos chicken had a very nice flavor with a perfect amount of spicy to it. Def recommend this place.

  • 2/5 anthony c. 1 year ago on Google
Food tastes good, chicken is over cooked and chewy, but most of all I want to comment on the portion sizes, they are tiny, less than a breast for 13$ and less than a full section of rice. Not worth the money. Should be renamed to taste of disappointment.

  • 1/5 Michelle P. 11 months ago on Google
Inedible beef. Skate wing 'coins' being passed off as scallops! We should have realized right away when the place was empty on the Saturday night of the July 4 weekend that it was not going to be good.

  • 3/5 Holly R. 10 months ago on Google
No music to drown out the server and kitchen. Or the kids at next table. Server is taking the orders at the door and you can hear the whole thing with no acoustics. Ruined my dinner even though food was tasty

  • 1/5 J B. 7 months ago on Google
Way overpriced for the ministerial portion they provided on this item. We’ve eaten here many many times. And there are a few good dishes. Today I ordered eggplant appetizer Nashugiyaki for $7.50 and there was almost nothing there. If it was served to me at the restaurant, I might’ve laughed, but this was takeout. The prices are way too high for the actual portions for many things. I think this might be the last trip to the restaurant.

  • 4/5 Tracy A. 7 months ago on Google
Food was good. Only had one server. It was a cute restaurant. Everyone having dinner there asked each other what they had and spoke to each other. It was a fun place.
