I love this place I mean I love Jamaican food period. But I especially love they're cow foot chicken foot soup that they give on Thursdays it made me feel real good with them not feeling good. Besides that, the staff is really friendly never had a issue.

This place is awesome, just a one stop shop (eat and get groceries) Food is delish and the staff members are friendly and helpful :-)

I decided to take a chance on this place and was horribly disappointed. I ordered oxtail and jerk chicken with rice and peas and plantains. The rice and peas was very dry and tasted as if it came out of a microwave after being heated up. The jerk chicken looked and tasted like baked chicken without jerk seasoning and had no taste. The oxtail as well looked like it was heated up in a microwave as it was dry with no sauce. My thought; it would appear that this was leftover from the previous day which is why it looked heated up in a microwave. The food was taken from the back where there is no visibility into what they were doing back there. I also had to wait over 20 minutes for them to get me the food even though I was the only one there at the time. This would only confirm my suspicion that they were reheating old food. FYI, I had to throw away the food as it was not edible. I would advise folks to keep away from buying food here.

The food was great well tasty. Customer service was very good. The young man was very friendly and welcoming.

Red flag... If there are no other customers other than yourself, turn around and go somewhere else. This is exactly what happened to us...we stood by the receiving area for about more than a minute before the lone server noticed us. She didn't even say hi, and assumed that we know where we will be seated. In fairness, we can sit anywhere because there are no other customers than us. With the very unenthusiastic reception that introduced us, I didn't want to give them another chance to disappoint me so we left, and we're glad that we did for we found a much better place to eat. Stay away and take your business elsewhere.

Best manish water around. Fried escoveich salfish and fried dumplings on point.

I liked the Ackee and Saltfish and friendly service, all is well.

I went there in the week at the location on Lake Worth and Jog rd to have porridge consisting of peanut, oats, and cornmeal with ginger crackers and was tasty.

The food and service at Island Basket is top notch! They get high marks and tick all the boxes for quality tasty food and customer service that is respectful and professional. Ordered cocktail patties for an event and was left with crumbs...they were very good!

Oxtails tuff rice hard cabbage cold only thing good was the plantiens.

The people there have no personality. They act as if they are doing you a favor . All you want to do is get your food and get the he'll out of there.

Love their chicken patties, and a great price. I want to try the veggie patty soon as I hear it’s delicious, and their other meals. I recommend this place!!

I love this place. My husband and I usually get food on Friday because they have Tripe and beans. Everyone is so nice and i miss them when I go back up north for the summer

I've been eating at Island Basket for several months now. I love Jamaican food and this is the best in the area. The brown stew chicken and the curry chicken are fantastic. Staff is friendly and courteous. The lunch special is off the wall, for $6 you get chicken, rice and peas, vegetables and a drink. We've been back for dinner, it's just as good.

Went there a week ago on Saturday around 6 and ordered a small jerk chicken went back to work open the plate to see 3 small cube pieces of chicken and some cold rice had to go back to the restaurant for the lady to tell me thats not wat she gave me wont be coming here again

Awesome atmosphere and food. Service was excellent as always.
