Absolutely God awful experience. I needed to get a referral for an emergency appointment that was happening in two days. They refused to send the referral to the doctor because they didn't think he was a surgeon, despite the physician in question working in a surgical center. It took four and a half hours to get the staff to realize the mistake because they didn't have anyone who spoke English *in the entire office staff*. They did absolutely nothing to warn me of this problem. I cannot stress enough that you should avoid this place at all costs. They are an unprofessional nightmare.

If you are looking for competent medical care DO NOT GO TO THIS OR ANY SANITAS. You have to go thru some kind of answering service, it takes over 2 weeks for them to get a referral right and forget about them getting a prescription modified! I have never been so frustrated with medical service. I have to go there today in person (take off work) to try to talk to a competent person and get somethings done right.

HORRIBLE! I have been disconnected over 6 times. No direct contact # for my ' new' Dr. I was given a script for a test that has the wrong diagnosis code and I have tried for 3 days to get someone ANYONE to help correct this simple problem. I guess its the doctors fault , I was told. Now I have to go out of my way and go back to the office. If this is how they treat patients, I am NOT interested. I will find a compedient facilty who can! Thanks Sanitas and Florida Blue for the awful referral

Do NOT go here. You cannot get in touch with your actual doctor/nurse/provider location. When you try to call you get a call center and they say your location will call you back but they never do. The doctor said that my acid reflux could be caused by bacteria in my stomach that could cause esophageal cancer if left untreated. Then she neglected to actually order the test for that bacteria to be sent to the lab. When I showed up to the lab they didn’t have the test order from her and due to their ridiculous red tape of going through a call center first, I can’t even speak to the doctor to get the test ordered.

I definitely recommend this office! Dr Artiles is amazing. So is the front office receptionist. These are very busy people. I walked in without appointment with an emergency, and the front door receptionist went above and beyond to get me to be seen same day. The doctors and x-ray dept , fast and friendly. Love this office. Go here for sure….

My name is Brittany Fleurizard and I am a current patient at Sanitas Medical Center (West Palm location), under the care of Dr. Gladys Duarte. I have never in my almost 30 years of living, met a better provider than Dr. Duarte. Dr. Duarte shows concerns and she has the upmost respect for her patients. My appointments are never rushed and she makes sure she explains my care to my understanding. She is very attentive, decisive, ethical, friendly, nurturing, observant, reassuring, and wise. She always go above and beyond and work tirelessly towards a healthy outcome. I feel so blessed to know you and have you as my doctor. Unfortunately Dr. Duarte was unexpectedly moved to the Pompano Beach location which is further south, approximately 45 minutes from my home, not including traffic. This is an inconvenience to me, as I’m sure it is to her other patients as well. Also, is there a reason why her schedule is saying she has no appointments available?? When I call to book an appointment, the people in the call center are trying to persuade me to see another provider, which is unfairly rude; and for some strange odd reason, I cannot make her my primary care, as if someone has blocked her out of the system. (weird) Any who, is there any way she can go back to her familiarized location in West Palm Beach? I do not wish to see any other provider and I will continue to drive down south for my follow-up visits with her, but if this could be changed, I’m sure everyone would appreciate it. Thank you

This facility helped me during a jam. I went to see my primary for a pre-operative clearance, but when I showed up for my appointment, they said they didn’t receive the order for the procedure. The ladies at the front desk told me to call my surgeon’s office and to go there and get the order in person. I did just that and called my primary afterwards and they were able to squeeze me back in immediately. Because of their help, I was able to get my surgery on time. The nurse practitioner Mayda Romero was extremely nice and wonderful. This facility is awesome.

A major problem is booking an appointment. When you try to schedule an appt and you live in Boynton Beach, you speak to a gal in Doral, Fl and she books you for an appt in Miami (1 hr away.) They have no idea where you are located and how far away each location is. The girls are very nice but they all have a heavy accent so there is a communication barrier. Plus, depending on who you speak with some of the office staff will do the paperwork to send the referrals others say it’s been sent and it never gets there and you provide tele, fax number, etc. I had to call 3 different times before they sent the referral to my Urogynecologist. The medical professionals were excellent but the people that schedule the appts on the phones and do the clerical work need improvement. In 6 months I’ve had 3 people assigned to be my internal medical physician.

I love Sanitas in general , the staff here is wonderful except Dr. Brenda Hernandez Reyes. I visited this doctor twice hoping that the first bad experience was just her having a bad day but when I tell you this was the rudest doctor I've ever had . Looked her up and I'm glad to know I'm not the only one If you have to go here avoid this doctor.

Pleasant and thorough experience. Felt very relaxed and staff communicated well, even letting me know of a cheaper pharmacy to use.

Through this review I want to show my appreciation for the kind and professional care I have been receiving at Sanitas Medical Center. Specially, I would like to acknowledge Dr. Romero-Pavot. I was well-aware of the excellent reputation of Cuban doctors. So three years ago, my wife and I decided to give Dr. Romero-Pavot a try. After having her as our primary doctor for the last three years, I am able to give her the best possible review. Dr. Romero-Pavot is not only very professional and knowledgable, but she is personable, provides a holistic approach, and makes me feel that she deeply cares about my health.

I very please with Janet Roque professionalism. I’m a new patient to the Wpb office. I very grateful to have a her as my Doctor. She explain my bloodwork detail and patiently. She did all the authorization forms and approved by insurance. I’m just happy to start this health journey and know that I am in good hands. Thank you Doctor.

Doctor Mayda Romero was amazing. She is so Nice and caring. I really felt like she listen and heard my concerns! Sharmaine was amazing as well!

My first time at this facility at West Palm. Very pleasant, clean environment and great staff! The doctor was attentive, listened well, and asked if we had any questions. She also requested other exams to make sure everything is okay. Overall great experience!!

I was a bit skeptical at the initial appointment but once attended to, from the front desk, that we’re welcoming, the nurse was personable and friendly and finally the nurse practitioner, Ms. Roque was fantastic! She took her time to listen to my concerns, did the necessary testing and recommendations. I really enjoyed the experience at Sanitas Medical center. I shall return.

This Sanitas office is definitely my preferred office. The MA Shermaine was so pleasant and answered my questions to the best of her abilities. As for Dr Brenda Hernandez, she is attentive and leaves no question unanswered. I really appreciate the work they do. Thank you for bringing clarity to my medical concerns. You all are great.

I love Sanitas medical center on PGA! The medical assistants, nurses, doctors, staff, everyone is extremely kind, knowledgable, and ready to help. They’re quick with appointments and try to get you in and out as soon as possible while also caring for you as a person. The facilities are clean as well! I recently saw Dr. Sambirska and she’s fantastic as a doctor and trusty as another woman :)

I called to make an appointment and the person on the other end has confirmed everything. I told her to send the confirmation to my email and she confirmed it sent. I then called a couple of weeks later just to be told that the appointment was never made. No one bothered to offer to make another appointment for me…nothing.

First I must say I give 5+ stars to the Dr. I see, Dr. Duarte. She listens and has an excellent bedside manner and is incredibly thorough. I have nothing but good things to say about the care that I have received from both the front desk (all the women at front desk are amazing) and the doctor. My issues with the facility stem from the scheduling department and the referral department. The first appointment I made by calling and being directed to scheduling where they took all of my information and scheduled me for an appointment. When I showed up for the appointment they did not have me in the system at all and they had to schedule me for an appointment the following week. When I showed up for my appointment the following week a man came in and the same thing happened to him and he said that the scheduling department had taken all of his information and giving him an appointment but they had no record of him in their system . I just had an appointment today and the same exact thing happened to another woman so the scheduling department is not putting people in for their appointments on the actual schedules. I’ve also had issues with my HMO getting referrals to see a specialist twice. After calling the insurance company they told me that they had approved my specialists and that it was the referral department for Sanitas that was holding up the specialist getting the referral. I called the referral department at Sonita‘s and was told that I had to call the specialist and get an appointment scheduled before they would send the referral over but the specialist would not give me an appointment until the referral had been sent by that department. After speaking to three different referral specialists (calling the same day three times) someone finally faxed over the referral to the doctor that had been approved and referred by Dr. Duarte. I’m having significant neurological issues and the doctor has been incredibly generous to send me to different specialists to help with my care but I haven’t been able to get into any of them because the referral department has been jerking me around making it very difficult for me and the insurance company says that they have approved the procedures so Sanita‘s needs to work on both their referrals and their scheduling departments.

Worst ever!!! I came in on Thursday and needed an prescription filled. They said it would be one hour and it is now Friday at almost 9pm and no prescription. This office is the worst. Was told it would be filled within one hour and nothing. Called and went to a call center with someone saying they would leave a message. Worst practice ever!!!!!!!

Absolute worst! They never sent referrals to my specialist and I was turned away on 4 separate occasions. Total waist of time Anytime you want to get a hold of someone you have to go through a long annoying menu.

I really like Sanitas Medical Center, everyone is very professional.
