Here's a pro tip for your bartenders. When a single woman walks in don't ignore her or act like she's an inconvenience. Broooooo be nice. She left you a good tip and has been working so hard while on assignment in Vero. Have a little compassion. Be nice. Have some decency. Maybe she just needed a nightcap before bed. That's all.

Drinks were delicious. Unfortunately, if you’re not a regular or in the service industry, you’re not going to be very important to the bartender. If you’re going to charge 17.00 for a cocktail, you should also provide excellent service to EVERYONE- even if they aren’t your buddies.

All the drinks were fantastic, couldn’t have asked for better service. Our bartender Laken went above and beyond to hand craft our cocktails to our liking. Our friends got draft beer which was also a great selection. Cold A/C great atmosphere.

Loved everything about this place. Great cocktails with lots of quality liquors. I'm a local and my wife and I will be returning.

Would love this place, the drinks are crafted and well made, but it smells like a toilet, and the service is subpar. There is no place to put your drink if you’re not at the bar. They make you go to the bar to order, then again to pick up your own drinks, then again to pay. The bartender can’t be bothered and there is no other help. He’s too busy chatting with the girls from the nearby restaurants who bring in outside food to snack on at the bar. I get “local dive bar” vibes instead of what it could be. It needs a candle and some small tables for the seating and it would be so much more pleasant. Fix these things and your reviews will improve. Cheers!

Thought we might get lucky with this one. We’re new to the area and every bar we’ve been to so far on the island has been full of drunk bartenders and rowdy customers. We had a little hope for SolMar, but were sadly disappointed. The bartender was drinking with all the patrons which I assume were regulars given their body language and let me tell you, these people were fall down drunk. One of them even broke their glass right on the bar while doing a shot that he shouldn’t have been served in the first place. They all were most certainly over served. One can only hope they made it home ok without killing anyone. The service was just okay. Not great and not bad, just what you would expect from a meh bar. In all honesty most of the Bartender’s focus was on the regular patrons and doing shots himself so I’m sure that contributed to our underwhelming service. The worst part me for was the smell. It hit me the second I walked in and it’s now embedded in my brain. I thought it was the customers at first but truthfully it smelled like mildew and dampness. I can see why people would like it. It’s cute and has fun decorations, but strip that down and you have a wanna be cocktail bar catering to a mainland crowd with lackluster cocktails that you could easily make at home. They’ve done a great job selling you on the cocktail bar vibe but sadly have missed the mark in almost every other facet. We left almost immediately after quickly sipping our drinks. I won’t personally be coming back or recommending SolMar to any of my clients. There are far better bars in the surrounding area.

Stopped by for a cocktail. Was thinking this was going to be a nice upscale experience. A couple of guys at the bar were extremely loud and obnoxious. Let's just say one and done.

Love Sol Mar. My favorite place to go with friends or even to take clients. Its an atmosphere that’s different than any other place in town. The cocktails are always so creative, delicious and fun. The Bartenders are all polite and knowledgeable. They move quickly to serve everyone. You can tell the owner put a lot of thought, love l, creativity and continuous effort into making Sol Mar a unique and wonderful place for locals and visitors alike.

Nick was handling the bar today by himself with a large crowd. Guy crushed every order, the vibes are great here- will highly recommend to our friends and family!

went on a quiet Wednesday and had a delightful experience. most of the cocktails on the preset summer menu are on the sweeter side, and I asked the bartender if he could make something not sweet. Kyle made a refreshing cucumber drink that was not stiff nor sweet, and overalll impressive. the bar was aesthetically decorated and had a chill ambiance to it. thank you for a delightful cocktail experience, highly recommend

My friends and I went here last Friday night (10/20/23.) This was my first time here. I was very pleased with the decor, very trendy. The bartenders were quick to take our drink orders at the bar, and the DJ was rocking the house. All of the staff were very nice. I don't think I sat down for more than a minute. We danced and had a great time. The place started to fill up after 9 and we hung out and danced until about 11. Great time was had by all, can't wait to go back again!!

Beautiful little cocktail lounge serving great cocktails in an upscale room, but blasting Southern Rock. You have to go up to the bar to order and get drinks. I'm not sure they know what they want to be, yet. In a ritzy locale with a ritzy name and beautiful decor, the music and sports channel creates a sense of cognitive dissonance.

Visited several times but when crowded don’t expect any service. Bartender who is the regular ignores you unless seated at bar. My husband waited 20 minutes behind a seated person. No eye contact. I chewed him out and told him to work his bar or get more help! Won’t be going back. We were more than patient to spend 18 on a drink each.

Awesome space good vibe friendly bartenders. Just wish mixed drinks weren't so expensive to buy out these days. Spending $15 to $20 on a drink makes it hard to have a couple after dinner, as it means dropping a huge chunk of change.... If I buy two drinks, for myself and my date, and leave a tip, I've parted with almost a hundred bucks.

The drinks were awesome and the bar tenders were down to have some fun. The crowd was open and up for some fun and everyone had a great time. Very comfortable seating lay out that allows a great conversation without the stuff table chair layout you traditionally see.

DJ was good but Service was very poor. Had to wait about 20 minutes to get a drink, bartenders were not friendly, not professional and have preferences at the time to serve a drink. ! They need to go to Miami to see how a busy place works.

I'm only rsting the bar since I did not try any food. Very clean and good vibe. Friendly atmosphere and staff was relatively attentive. Drinks were normal prices and they had a happy hour. Definitely a good place to meet up for a few drinks before moving on to dinner or somewhere else nearby as the evening progresses.

Such a fun beachside bar with a great staff. Life is sweet with their premium cocktails and great ambiance.
