They “delivered” a package to me Sunday that was nowhere to be found. I called and opened a case on Monday. I was told to wait a day because they usually show up and if not someone would call me. I got a call Tuesday when nothing came saying they were investigating. I then got a call on Thursday with a message asking me if I had any updates on my case. As if I’M supposed to be the one researching it... I then received a voicemail today, where they said there was a key in my mailbox for the large parcel box (I’m in an apartment) and then blamed me for not checking my mailbox before opening a case. This key just showed up yesterday for a completely separate package. I called this office’s direct number (which I’ve done several times this week with no answer) and someone finally picked up. I tried to explain to them that the key they referred to was part of a completely separate order and it was not appropriate for them to assume things about my case and leave condescending messages blaming me for their mistakes. Kate hung up on me. Worst experience I’ve ever had with a shipment in my life. Almost a week later and I still haven’t gotten anything close to a resolution or even a hint of accountability from them. If I had a choice of who delivered my mail I would never choose this office.

I wanted to write a review on an experience where the staff went above and beyond. We were on our way to Disney and our Magic Bands were being delivered that day. I went to the post office because the day before i put a hold on the mail which it stated that morning was being held at the location. I figured it would be better to pick them up on the way there because we were not sure when the mail was being delivered. When i got there they said that the mail was actually on the truck but coming back. Mind you, we had already left the house, all packed up. Well they called the postal worker and he totally offered to circle back around and leave it in our mail box. I was honestly surprised! So we went back to the house to pick them up, and there was also a little note on the package to enjoy our trip. That was seriously so wonderful, I had to give a shot out!

response to Cheryl Melchionna's review: those pictures are not of this location. i believe you reviewed the post office on seacrest and boynton beach blvd. which has been closed for a couple of years now. this location is a little musty, but good people and good service for a USPS.

Nasty attitudes from staff. They act like you are disturbing their coffee break. Then the government wonders why they are losing money in postage. Staff should be replaced with people that want to work

I actually enjoyed my interactions with the staff here except for a female employee named Bridget. She's so miserable and rude and I can't believe they trusted her to serve customers. As a front desk staff, you are a representative of the company and your negative attitude reflect the image of the branch and USPS as a whole. I witnessed Bridget to be rude and condescending when speaking to customers in my many times visiting the branch. Fast forward to this day, I brought NINE small packages that had prepaid labels on them already but I wanted them to be scanned to show it was accepted by the Post Office. Bridget made a comment loudly to the customer behind me but with me standing right in front her that I could have used the machine outside to scan these packages. I mean, you get paid by the hour and it should be irrelevant whether you're there to scan my packages or sell book of stamps to another. Considering there was only two customers total including me, that comment was not needed. Especially when my transaction took two minutes to complete. And she was rushing to get rid of me that she didn't even circle the survey info on the receipt as she's supposed to. With the rising number of unemployment out there, I'm sure someone else would gladly take her job. And do better at it too.

I am not sure if this is the correct location (it is one of two closest to where I am currently staying), but I ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO leave a 5-Star review for mail carrier Katrina, who delivered to Pine Point Villas today (10/5/19). I ask that this review be given to her Supervisor, and I hope that this review is added to her employment records. This being said, Katrina went utterly ABOVE and BEYOND for me, a complete stranger, who she had never even met before today. I am temporarily staying here in Pine Point Villas. I am disabled and need medication to function. My medication was sent to me from NJ on Monday and was supposed to arrive this past Thursday and did not. By the time this morning came around, I had become very ill because I had run out of this medication, which I have been taking for four years. I have been tracking the package since Thursday and as of 9:01AM, the USPS website said that my package would arrive today. Katrina came with our mail at around 3:30PM, and my medication was not in with our mail. I asked my Son to run outside and try catch up to her because I cannot move quickly enough. (It is Saturday and I knew that if we didn’t catch up to her, that the post office would be closed until Monday and without my medication, I would be in the hospital by this evening.) When I was able to catch up to them, I explained the situation to Katrina. She called the office and her supervisor wasn’t able to confirm exactly which mail carrier had my package. Katrina could see that I was getting upset and that I was in a lot of pain and she told me not to worry. She said that she would go back to the office and find my package herself. She said that she would find it and deliver it to me even, if she was done with work for the day! Not even 20-25 minutes later, Katrina was back at my door with the package containing my medication! I asked her how I could show my gratitude to her and she said that just the fact that she was able to help me get my medication was enough for her. I know that Katrina went WAY over and above and even BEYOND what her position entails. I have actually never met any mail carrier that would take the time to do what she did. I am so grateful and all I want is for her to get the recognition that she deserves. She was my ANGEL today. She saved me. And I will be forever grateful. Thank you Katrina, from the bottom of my heart. You are one of a kind and I just hope that you know the magnitude of what you did for me today and just how grateful I am. The staff lie constantly and the manager will belittle you and tell you lies as well. They no longer change the locks for a small fee for you apartment mailboxes, you must pay a lock smith to do so and if the lock smith damages the mail box it is your fault. i was told i could hold my mail until the landlord assist me with getting the key to my new mail box from him. i go 3 times a week to retrieve my mail and the last time i went the employees were rude and mean and yelled at me tell me they will no longer hold my mail and that it was my issue to figure it all out. even though I again told them that i have been trying to get the key from the land lord who lives 3 hours from me and travels for work, the landlord will not give me permission to have the lock change and being a renter i must have his permission. I am going to usps to get a po box due to this location not even wanting to speak to me about this option. horrible no wonder people hate the post office.

Don't bother calling the 800 number the wait is over an hour! Ridiculous! No wonder the post office is going out of business. Called FedEx was able to speak to someone in less than five minutes, answered all my questions and was able to accomplish what I needed. The post office needs better customer service!

USPS held my package as of my "request" but I never told them to hold my package. Im cool if they cant delivery it by that day but dont ever LIE about things that your customer didnt asked for. Better inform your customer what really happened to the package.

Terrible! My wedding dress was going from Ventura, CA to Boynton Beach, FL. The box arrived today, and the usps employee delivered the box RIPPED OPEN. Not even ripped on the parts I taped up. It was ripped on the flat side. It would have been a disaster if the wedding dress fell out un-noticed.

My husband went August 13th to this location, went inside and sent off two birthday cards to our niece and nephew. And they had gift cards in them. Totaling over $100. Called my sister-in-law wondering if the kids received their guests and cards, and she said they did not. This is absolutely ridiculous and unthinkable. You are the absolute worst. I will be calling corporate come Monday morning.

I read a lot of these reviews. I don't think this place is bad. Yes it is a bit outdated and does need some renovations. Nothing to give it one star for. Also I think people are just very impatient. In a perfect world you would go in and out of there in less than a minute but we don't live in a perfect world. Things take time, people have different needs when they go in there. Some may just want to buy stamps and some may have 8 packages they're sending to different places. Patience people...Patience. I think everyone i've dealt with here has be pleasant. Thank you all for your work especially throughout this time!

Calling the local PO or the 800 number will be the biggest waste of your time. And it has been that way my entire life. I guess maybe 40 years ago if you let the phone ring about 100 times someone would pick it up because that was before voice mail. Now when you call you are put in a quagmire of bot options that don't apply to you, you cannot get an operator, and then of course you are disconnected. Asking if you can take their survey seems pretty idiotic when they hang up before you can do it.

I rarely ever leave a negative review. I try to always see the issue from both sides, and then leave a half positive review. I've been to this particular Post Office maybe 4 times. It's always been decent service - nothing to complain about. However, yesterday I was truly taken back and frankly, insulted. Part of my business as a Realtor means mailing many many letters to people. I went yesterday with maybe 60 envelopes. The first time I went, I went to see if it would make more sense to have them mailed by the Post Office, or if I should purchase stamps and stamp and mail them myself. I decided it would look more professional if I had the Post Office do it. I come back, now to a different woman, and i put the envelopes on the counter. I tell her I only want to mail 40. She immediately hands me stamps, telling me she can't mail them herself. I ask why, she says because she can't. It'll take too long. I explain that these are being mailed for business purposes and I want the regular stamp that gets put on when you slide it through the machine, I don't want to stamp them myself. She insists on handing me the stamps, and I politely decline, asking why once more she cannot do it. She says it'll take her too long and she's not going to do it....... correct me if I'm wrong but isn't that exactly what you get paid to do? Mail things? Provide customer service? If I want my letters mailed a certain way to look professional.. why am I being declined and provided with terrible, offensive and lazy service. After telling her once more that I don't want to purchase stamps, she rudely tells me she is not going to put them through the machine. I say okay, not a problem I will happily go to the Delray Beach location instead and to have a nice day. ????? Frankly, this is ridiculous. Even if this took her 25 minutes..she's getting paid for it and there are 3 other people at the desk. She's not alone, there was maybe 2 people in line after me, was this really an issue? I will not be going to this location ever again. And by the way, my partner went to the Delray location just a few minutes ago and they HAPPILY said okay, and starting scanning the letters right away! I truly appreciate good customer service. I was not asking anyone to go above and beyond for me, just to do their jobs.

It cost $375 to ship 5 packages from boynton beach FL to Overland Park KS and they were late by a day for 4 of them and lost the 5th package. For comparison I checked how much it would cost if I sent them via FedEx and was surprised to find out it would have cost $189. I strongly feel that they took advantage of my elderly grandfather who shipped them for me. I will never use the USPS again. Go out of business already!!

My mail is constantly not being delivered. I watch the mail person drive right by my mailbox even when the red flag 🚩 is up. This has been happening for awhile now and I’ve called to address the issue and it continues happening, nothing is blocking or hindering them from delivering my mail. What is the problem?!

Machine to self address packages was down upon opening so I waited in line behind 20 people. With just one person working this morning, this took approximately 45 minutes. I’m not sure if this is standard for Post Offices, but air conditioning does not exist. No longer using USPS, will mail my packages through more efficient carriers.

Don’t drop off your mail at this location! I’ve dropped off multiple cards going to different cities over the past months….birthday cards, 4 of them and no one received their cards….someone is definitely stealing mail at this location. Also happened last year at Christmas. I’ve even walked the mail inside to use the drop off box. None of the outgoing mail was going to the same location so it has to be an employee at this location.

Despicable people, deplorable service. During a recent large order of supplies for our business, every. single. item. this USPS was responsible for shipping, they lost and destroyed. The delivery rate of other couriers for this order, including FedEx, UPS, and Amazon, was 100%. USPS was literally 0%. Absolutely pathetic. The people that work here should be absolutely ashamed of themselves. This location is an incredibly sad commentary on USPS, and on Boynton Beach in general.

I've had a P.O. box at this location for 10 years. Every year the box rate goes up and the service goes down. My last 3 online shopping orders were shown as delivered to the building but weren't put in my box for more than 4 days! And that's only after complaining at the desk twice. The supervisor at this location needs to be reassigned. Now my packages will be ordered sent to my job location with much less B.S.

The worst USPS office you can go to. They need to hire competent people there. I sent a package on the 22nd of July that I paid extra to make sure that the company I sent it to received it. I checked the tracking number to make sure they received it. Instead I find out the paperwork I sent is lost!! It says it left the facility on the 29th. THE 29TH! I brought it on the 22nd. It's only my Union pension retirement forms that I mailed. Nothing important! I had to file a claim and an investigation as to where my forms are that I mailed. This place should be shut down! They are horrible! Don't ever use the United States Post office if you need anything important mailed. This place is a joke! UPDATE! it's now been 3 weeks since I dropped off my forms to be mailed. Still lost in the mail. I went to the post office to speak to the manager and he was trying to give all these excuses why it's taking so long. I told him, "dude just admit my mail is lost. You guys have no idea where it is." He couldn't give me an answer. I told him I'll never ever again use the United States Post office to mail anything again. Just a horrible experience!

Be very careful with this post office, they open your packages(my personal experience and also happened to a friend who sells through Amazon but has a contract with the postal office for shipping). They should be investigated. Makes you scared to use products, when things are being tampered with. Be very very careful! Or look for a better postal facility.

I had been missing mail about 2-3 months. I was following a package tracking, and as it was to be delivered, it got forwarded instead. I asked my carrier about it and as kind as she is, she let me know that she can stop the forwarding. I had a credit card sent to me and it went back to them as undeliverable, after checking multiple times that the address is correct. A different credit card reached out letting me know my address had been changed according to USPS. I pretty much have been calling USPS regarding my issues with them since June. This office called me directly and left a voicemail saying there was a forwarding from where I reside to a new address and that if it’s incorrect, to call them back. I call them back and they said the person who called me wasn’t in yet. No callback from them in 2-3 days so I created another complaint and asked them to email me. In that email they said there’s no forwarding going on. Since I got two completely different answers in the same week, I call the office again and I get a condescending response, “it’s January, you’ve been missing mail since November, it’s now you’re calling?” Who expects this sort of attitude from a government service? You might hate your job or whatever it is that’s disgruntling you, but you don’t take it out on people requesting clear assistance. If an incorrect forwarding was cancelled, communicate this instead of being rude and condescending. I had been looking into this and have had companies try to resend me mail. All I can do is wait to see if I finally get mail as I normally did. I get packages just fine, but normal first-class letters are a mystery. USPS makes it difficult to trust them, I know it was a weird and tough year, but if I’m being put through circles, many others are too. There obviously needs to be a revamp.

Missed my package delivery but needed it by the end of day. I stopped by and spoke with the supervisor and he was able to contact my delivery driver who swung back by and delivered it immediately. Couldn’t give a better review. They really made my day! Thank you so much.

To set the record straight the employees at this location are polite and efficient. However there is a large amount of troglodytes that frequent this location and make things complicated for everyone. It's easier to blame others than admit your own ignorance

Postal workers were nice and great to work with even though it's the holidays, and there are a ton of things getting mailed out. The older gentleman that helped us get our packages out was super nice, and there was a young adult getting his first passport, which you could tell he was extremely excited about his upcoming adventure. Line was short even though it's a smaller post office, but I have no complaints about the service or inside of the office. Good job, USPS! I don't think you all get enough credit for making sure things arrive after being sent. Every business has its challenges but nor rain sleet or shine. Those letters and packages 📦 get delivered every day to friends, family loved ones, and businesses.

Horrible customer service and zero problem solving skills. Ups and fed ex always help me mail something out. After waiting 40 minutes I was told I cant use a return bar code on my phone. They don’t even give you the option to print at the site. All other shipping companies will print labels for you and make sure to get that out. The employees are all so rude to even the other people in line. One employee screamed “hello!” After saying “next” when the next person was trying to gather his things. Such an awful experience. I hope I never have to ship anything from USPS again.

By far the worst place in all of Boynton, truly darkens my day to my core when I have to go to this miserable place, everyone is angry although I’d be angry too, If I had to work in this building the max capacity has got to be four people the man saw an item I brought in and responded with “nope”. Save this chore for only those you hate. if I had to pick between going to drop things off at the post office or spending the night in a jail, it would be a tough choice.

I went to this location to get a replacement key for my mail box. They told me they don’t offer this service anymore. I asked if I could go to another location to have it done and they said that NONE of their locations offered this service and I would have to call a locksmith. This sounded unusual to me so I went to another location anyways and they had no issues assisting me in getting a new key. I don’t know if the woman at the main office location lied to me or was misinformed about the company’s policy. Either way, don’t go to this location if you can avoid it. Waist of time and was almost out $100 for a locksmith.

I recently went to this post office to obtain passports. The lovely lady at the front desk took care of me with a smile. She gave me the forms, explained how to fill them out and how to properly attach my photo. Upon completion of my paper work, I returned and fortunately the same lady was at her desk. She looked over my paperwork to make sure my completion was correctly done, and still smiling, proceeded to mail it out. It was a refreshing experience all around thanks to this sweet worker.

I came in hot and gave the attendant Terrance a huge attitude because I was super stressed about my package being lost. What a wonderful experience. Thank you for employing such empathetic people.

I would like to thank Fanny and Kevin for their excellent service. They helped me with my passport application when the other employees at this location would not. Specifically, Emanuel and Bridget refused to help me with the issues they themselves presented to me. Emanuel told me to go home after I clarified my misunderstanding with regards to proof of primary citizenship. He flatly refused to engage in any dialogue with me to clear up the misunderstanding. He also told me wrong information in regards to the money order, which I then had to verify according to the travel.state.gov website, and it turned out I had it right. Bridget offered no help with my appointment misunderstanding, she simply told me to reschedule. There were no available appointments for two weeks. Bridget also belittled her coworker Fanny. When I explained my interaction earlier with Fanny, Bridget said, "She only answers the phone, she doesn't know anything about passport services." Nevertheless, Fanny and Kevin stepped up to help me with my passport application, and I cannot thank them enough. It seems apparent that Bridget's comments are more indicative of her attitude towards customers than Fanny's knowledge of passport services. Fanny helped me with these services in a timely and respectable manner, something Bridget could not do.

Horrible customer service....from the little Spanish lady at the front to the little Spanish lady supervisor. Literally told me the price of my letter $3 88 without ever weighing it. I explained to her she is wrong, I actually have proof of receipts of me mailing the exact same thing for 70 cents which weighed .70 oz...a little Spanish lady supervisor came out and said $3.68 once again I explained to her. I have receipts of mailing the exact same thing with proof of my letter being delivered 5 times....I mailed them from three different locations 2 in boynton 1 in boca. She refused to acknowledge what I was saying, she then said she will go weigh my letter but I could not come to the register she was going, she came back and Wouldn't even tell me how much it weighed. Saying its $3.68 This was 04/06/2019 around 3pm. Those two are really bad at their job.

Awful customer service, the supervisors are more interested in keeping lines moving than taking the time to help one customer with a legitimate issue. If you can choose to do to another location, do that.

I had an issue where a package was sent to my old address and was not forwarded to my new one. I first called customer service and they helped me figure out to contact the local delivery manager. I contacted the delivery manager and she took the time to listen to my issue and help me find a solution. The delivery manager was more than kind and understanding. She explained the process, how busy her team was, and the time frame I was to expect her to get back to me. She then got back to me as she said she would with just as cheerful an attitude and when and where to pick up my located package. I have nothing but great things to say about my experience. I also had nothing but excellent, helpful service at the Boynton Beach Post Office and with the Mail Carriers!

Have a package that shows as delivered yet you know for a fact it was not delivered where it was supposed to be? Good luck getting someone here to care about it. They will not confirm with the driver where it was delivered or tell you why it says delivered in/at mailbox when it is NOT in/at mailbox. As far as they're concerned they did their job perfectly fine and the rest is on YOU to resolve. Also mostly very rude, unfriendly staff. It's a shame the USPS has such poor quality control & customer service... all we can do is sit back and wish/hope our packages actually make it to the destination and even that is a roll of the dice. These days I'd much rather trust Amazon and their drivers over USPS, at least Amazon has amazing customer service and are willing to make the situation right.

I went there because they said they couldn't deliver my mail. So I asked my wife to stop by after work, 5 minutes she waited. Then I stopped by to relieved her so she can go home. I spent 30 minutes waiting. back and forth they go. Everyone was so clueless. Until a nice old lady told me the carrier left with it. The worst part is. I'm gonna have to deal with them maybe in the future. Because I live in an apartment and USPS don't deliver in front of your door if they need your signature.

Staff here are very nice and patient, and in my experience there’s rarely a long wait except around the holidays - but the building itself is very run down inside - their A/C wasn’t even working on a 90 degree summer day. It’s ok if you’re there just to send out a package but it seems unfair to have employees working for hours without a/c.
