Great place for any Beatle fan or something to do. I'm not a Beatles fan but it was very interesting to learn how it all started and behind the scenes. Plenty of information, pictures and artifacts. £15 adult, £10 concession. 3 floors. Easy to walk around, gift shop. Took about 1 hour. Photos allowed. Toilets available. Friendly staff.

I was really happy after visiting this place. Absolutely wonderful museum, a lot of The Beatles story. 4/5 stars only for price of entry. (£15) was a bit high price. If it would be £10. I would put a 5 stars. Great place. Recommended.

Visited this installation today that is dedicated to one of most iconic band of the 20th century "The Beatles". Mostly memorabilias, photographs and timeline of the band mainly from its inception to separation i.e., around 1970s are presented here. Regarding the museum that will get to your attention is that the museum is compact however, it is decorated in chronological, informative and systemetic way which is notifiable easily.

A great collection of memorabilia which tells a decent story - unfortunately, the story telling was very lacking compared to what I was expecting. The venue is also in need of some refurbishment in terms of the reception areas, toilets etc. Was worth a visit but probably wouldn’t recommend it highly

I am not a heavy Beatles fan, but found this museum interesting, many many facts about the band I had no idea about. It has many unique artifacts belonging to the band members and band history. Worth for 12 GBP per adult. You can take 1 GBP audio-guide, it was ok. Not crowded at all on Monday. The museum has toilets. I would have some more interactivity, like ability to listen to songs via audio guide for example. Also as it 3 floors with stairs, not accessible for a wheelchair.

As a fan of the beatles I really liked the collection, as it has the full content of their career. I had a great desire to know and whoever accompanied us was formidable. I am super satisfied with the visit to the museum and the way I was received by the guide. For me, the museum deserves a score of 10. Super recommended, especially for those who come from Brazil like us.

It was an amazing experirnce! You can go back to the 1960 and know the Beatles store through the photos, documents, newspapers and music! I really enjoyed the visit at the museum!

Rather boring. You need to be a real fan of The Beatles to enjoy the collection. The audio guide in Russian is absolutely awful (we took it for our daughter). I hope the English one is better and not that slooooooow. People in the museum are very friendly. We enjoyed the tasks for kids the museum offers. It was nice to receive a sticker for our kid after completing the tasks.

What an experience l really enjoyed it all in this venue . There was so much information & the photos of the life of The Fab Four was incredible . I was born in UK left as a £10 Pom as a 10yr old so missed all that happened . So to see it all was amazing so many years later . Definetly a huge fan of The Beatles . Am 71yrs now & still listen & will never forget my experience in Liverpool . Cavern club tribute band same night . If l closed my eyes thought l was back in time to 1963 Thanks so much ❤👏👏

If your ever in Liverpool please check out the Magical History Museum (not at Albert Docks). Any true Beatle Fan will be absolutely blown away by the Best Family's amazing collection from the early outfits worn by John, Paul George and Pete and Ringo, to Sgt.Pepper dolls given to Mona Best and everything in between. Plus an amazing staff!

I had never heard of the Beatles before, in fact I attended because I thought that this was an entomological exhibition but it didn't disappoint. It looks like this Beatles quartet may well be worth a listen, although I usually only listen to Gilbert and Sullivan on the Victrola at home. Splendid array of modernist artefacts.

this was an incredible place to visit. It has a load of artifacts to do with the Beatles. It was very open over 3 separate floors with each floor being dedicated to a set amount of years. It also shows a fascinating piece of footage which is the first bit of footage ever of the Beatles! I would definitely recommend visiting if you are in Liverpool!

Brilliantly arranged with many entertaining objects and pictures. You can see the very first video footage of the band as well. Absolutely unmissable. Even if you are not a fan, you’ll surely enjoy your visit hence the nostalgic vibe of many genuine items. It’s great to see and find out about the early era of the band.

Even if you’re not a Beatles fan it’s hard not to get swept up in their story. Magnificent collection of Beatles memorabilia as well as pieces actually owned by them. It's a comprehensive collection and well worth a look, toilets inside and takes around 60-90 minutes (depending on how much you read).

A lovely place. Had fun. And for those with issues reading/seeing , they have a device that describes to you the room and reads out and explains everything. The only downfall are the stairs. They are quite steep and narrow which can make it hard for someone with a vision impairment, mobility issues or in a wheelchair as their is no lift. Luckily, as a person with a vision impairment I went with my family who helped me navigate the staircases. Overall, I had a lovely time and would love to go back again and would recommend it as a good site see.

I'm a huge fan of the band and the location is on Mathew Street, close to the Cavern Club and pubs named after Beatles songs. As it is a high value-added entry, I thought the structure would be better and the items presented. Despite this, the catalog of information is very interesting, informing new and rare facts, which make for a good experience.

A must see in Liverpool. Easy to get in, amazingly rich of details witnessing the history of the band. I appreciated the variety of objects and the accuracy of their collection. I was not impressed by the audio guide (a bit difficult to fit to the items which were described) and a bit surprised on the very aged setup and smell of the place, that would deserve a renewal to give even more value to visitors. I booked tickets in advance, but there was no need (even on Easter Monday)

ABSOLUTE SCAM. If you are looking for a honest review from a Beatles fan this is it. This “Museum” should be renamed the Pete Best museum as 80% of the memorabilia is about him. There was little to no relevance to the Beatles what so ever. It’s just a room full of bricks ( no joke, literal bricks) and a guitar that is the same model as the one George Harrison played. So not even the real one! it is honestly laughable. I came from Glasgow for my birthday to look at all the Beatles related sites, but this was a complete con. If you want to spend £17 each!!!! To see some pictures taken from the internet and stuck to wall, that aren’t even straight, then this is the place for you. They also keep the exit completely separate, away from the entrance which I can now see why. And to add to its miserable experience the exits looks and is an unfinished, unpainted, un-rendered plasterboard fire exit looking door that feels like it leads to a back ally which is where most of the items in this “museum” should be taken and thrown in the bin. This place has basically a couple of items that the band had touched or owned for a small time such as a watch and hip flask. Do not expect to see anything substantial or worthwhile from the Beatles here, just a couple or trinkets and what looks like a gift store full of Beatles toys. Something I could see on the Simpson’s when they go to Ned Flanders’s basement which would have at least came with some hallucinating drinks which would have made this place almost bearable. But anyway enjoy you time in Liverpool, which you will as long as you don’t spend any time of money here. 🙂

Cool stuff inside! Could really benefit from having a bit more of a cohesive story to the exhibition and would definitely benefit from having a better gift store. I love a little souvenir or a knick knack and I love the beatles so I was ready to drop some cash but there was really nothing worth purchasing much to my disappointment but great news to my slight hoarding issues

Really interesting, there's an audio tour for an extra £1 which works very well, you scan the stations and it gives you a story of their history. It's spread over 3 floors so might be a challenge for some with all the steps. We really enjoyed it. There are also plenty of bars on Mathew street to have a drink and a rest in afterwards. Enjoy!

I’m not a huge. Beatles fan but I now have a better appreciation for them. This museum was very well laid out and had so much to look at that I could have spent so much more time there. There are video presentations that you really should watch. It does get very busy though so get there early

This museum is definitely overpriced. I do appreciate that they have three floors and display as many items as possible, even though a lot of them were actually collected from some people who used to know or worked with the Beatles, which is impressive! What caught my eye was there all kinds of magazines newspapers or posters were displayed next to the items, even handwritten letters or journals from the band members themselves or their families. You can tell that they are trying to give you a thorough experience of the Beatle's good and bad history, how they were influenced by and influenced the late 20th century’s music culture, how fanatic their fans were, and how global their concerts were. I think if only they could refurbish this building, it would make my whole experience way better because sometimes the corridors smell weird. They might also want to sell more creative souvenirs because I really can’t find too many unique trinkets here.

it is an awesome museum but the shop is not that good. not many options and the cool things that i wanted to buy was missing. but the museum made it worth it, with many objects that used to belong to them. it was missing some information about the break up of the band but i like it nonetheless.

Great open galleries with artifacts from the groups early days, there did seem to be a bias though towards Peter Best items and also those attributed to his mother so i suspect that may indicate the source. All in all worth a visit and less crowded than the other place. It's on 3 flies though so if stairs are difficult for you or not your thing best to check if there is a lift (i didn't see one).

The Beatles are undoubtedly and firmly established as masters of music, John Paul George & Ringo. My hats off & heart goes out to Yoko & Paul. Thanks you for your unmatched contribution to society at large. It is an honor to have witnessed these wonders of liverpool. Thoughtfulness & love for the people the music the art & change for better, the Beatles are the most accomplished and impactful artists of the last 100 years & ongoing. My favorite song John's Imagine, George's all things must pass, Paul's maybe I'm amazed, Ringo's contributions to the heart of all Beatles hits. Thanks you, very much, thank-you!

Well, what can I say...this place is AMAZING! I have an older 70 something year old friend who is a huge fan of The Beatles, we had visited the other Beatles place in the past, but after years of visiting it grew stale and she got bored of it so we decided to pay this newer, fresh Beatles museum a visit to see what it was all about. WE. LOVED. IT. I'm not even a big Beatles fan yet I still had a great time! We were greeted by lovely staff members who made us feel welcome straight away, 2 young ladies and a young man, I didn't manage to get their names but they were very welcoming! The staff member on the floors knew a lot about the Beatles and my friend had a great time boring him with all her questions, he never hesitated to answer her, she even joked about leaving her number for him! The memorabilia honestly fills you with a sense of nostalgia, even though I am only 26 I felt like I was looking back on childhood memories, I felt like I was once a 13 year old girl crying over The Beatles, all the photos, clothes, memorabilia are amazing to see up front, they hold so many amazing memories and stories, seeing them in person just gives you excitement as you're like 'wow John wore those!' 'wow, Paul touched that!' My friend especially enjoyed seeing photos of Pete Best! I really recommend this museum if you are a fan of the Beatles! Once you walk up the stairs you are truly in the unexpected, there is just sooooo much Beatles memorabilia to take in spread over 3 floors! The second floor was my favorite. One thing I would recommend is for the museum to have a section where you can dress up in Beatles era costumes and take photos, kind of like a photo booth situation with props, that would be fun! If you are in Liverpool and pass this place, DEFINITELY go and visit! Even if you're taken aback by the price, it is SO worth it. We spent over an hour in there and had a great time so £10/£15 is completely worth it if you love the Beatles! We can't wait to go back and visit once the shop is complete, a cafe would also be a great addition as it would encourage people to stay in for longer. Will definitely be coming back thank you so much for a great museum that my friend loved!

My mother is very fanatical and I went through it completely (4 floors by stairs), even with mobility problems and no elevator. But I enjoy it very much and did not feel tired. Many original objects of the first and last times, photos and curiosities, complete and very well exposed. Thank you! (Original) Excelente colección! Los fanaticos lo disfrutan mas que nadie. If you're a Beatles fan with prior knowledge of their career, this museum delves more deep with excellent artifacts. Founded by Pete Best (their original drummer) and his half brother Roag, most of the artifacts come from their private collection, as well as from Neil Aspinall. It's three floors took us about two hours to go through and it was very enjoyable.

A lovely experience visiting the place looking at Beatles stories n their past events with collections mostly documented n exhibited there. Rather a small, smart n cosy museum, with 3 storeys but no lift. Fortunately my son, disabled can walked the 2 (3)flights of steps n able to rest n enjoy the video n sounds.. Customer service was helpful n friendly. Concession price £10, (£15 adults) carer free, well worth a visit. Average time spent, 1 hour.

Mandatory for all Beatles fans! Not that many new interesting facts or original items though. Four stars because of the stale air - some AC would be nice (I am NOT from the US, but still, the air there was just not ok). Advance tickets would be cheaper (10), 15 when bought on the day.

This museum was okay, I personally didn't enjoy it or it's pieces. I found some quite insignificant, with a lot from Pete's collection. I think the price (£17pp) is too much to ask, if I'd paid £10pp I wouldn't have regretted it. Some cool bits in the store, though.

If you already know The Beatles story then this is the museum for you. The amount of historical items on display here is unmatched. Tremendous museum a must for any Beatles fan, lots of personal items which belonged to the Beatles and the Best family, well laid out with appropriate music and commentary playing in the background, made me feel quite emotional I felt a connection to the Best family,it's set over 3 floors quite a climb but well worth it ,id recommend having the audio tour device it's only a £1 easy to work and very lightweight,it made up for the awful experience we had at the other Beatles museum which is now akin to a theme park type experience chocked full of people and unruly teenagers dreadful,id recommend going onto the Cavern which is almost next door to complete the Beatles experience

nice museum if you are interested in the Beatles however i found it a bit noisy especially in the first floor. listening Beatles while looking at their stuffs and reading stories about them is definitely a good ideas however i also heard the sound of the video at the end of the room, pretty disturbing. maybe you can run it every 30 min or so.

Very interesting museum focusing quite a lot on the early days of the Beatles, with one floor dedicated to the first years, the original band, the first successes before the final band was formed. Other floors share interesting accounts of their years of fame : albums, tours, merchandising, perception abroad... A rich collection well enhanced by the explanations and audioguides. The price is a little high but it was well worth a visit.

The museum is full with information about the Beatles. I recommend to take the audio guide at least at your first visit.

Plenty of time to wander around. Few people there but no overlapping. Quiet.

An amazing experience. Was even better as I went to the casbah coffee club first and heard the stories about most of the early memorabilia that is in the museum! This helped to understand more of who people were and what part they played in getting the Beatles to their well known selves!
