I am a part time resident on HHI and have gone to another salon for years but they never got it quite right and the level of customer service from their British receptionist was… well less than what i normally see ! I decided after reading reviews to try Whip Salon HHI. Wow! I have hit the jackpot on the island and have found my forever salon here!!! From the moment you make that first call until you leave the salon a very happy client , you will know they are at the top of their game! The best service, so professional , absolutely the best color i have ever had and my standards are high! Don’t waste your time with mediocre service on the island , go straight to the best WHIP! My first time here and I felt like a celebrity! Complimentary drinks, friendly girls, and excellent service. Grace was my stylist and gave me short, blended layers, just like I asked. The blowout was beautiful, too. Thank you!

I am so glad I found this salon. After getting my hair done professionally in NYC and Los Angeles for many years I had finally resorted to going to Atlanta after moving to the south if I really wanted a good cut and color…until now! Cheyenne did my color and cut and she was able to take down the red that my hair tends to lift to and get that really pretty warm honey blonde with the bright baby lights. She also listened to what I wanted and did a fantastic job actually darkening the root so it could grow out more naturally. She absolutely listens to what it is the customer really wants and will go above and beyond to make sure the client is happy and satisfied. Not only does she do a great job but she genuinely cares about the person in her chair and clearly loves what she does which makes the experience really positive overall! The staff is very friendly and they all work together. It’s a pleasure going to get my hair done at Whip Salon and even better leaving happy!!

GRACE IS AMAZING!!! I had a vision in mind and when I arrived grace was so detailed when it came to what I was going for. She actually helped picking a color that complimented my skin tone. Not only is she professional and sweet. She is a very talented stylist. From the start to the end I can’t rave enough.

I have been with the same stylist for 20 years and was more than a bit nervous to use a different stylist that I have been seeing in New York. From the moment I arrived at WHIP I was warmly greeted and felt very comfortable. When I met Tess for the first time I felt the same way. Great experience. I arrived early and didn’t have to wait. Mariah was very knowledgeable and knew exactly his w to cut and shape thin hair … I paid well under the quote I received online which was fantastic and my hair looks great !!

New to the island, it has been difficult to find a new hair stylist. Within three weeks I was able to book an an appointment for a haircut and Ann did a wonderful job! She listened to my input and gave me a fun new haircut for this hot, humid weather! The entire staff was polite and professional, and I will definitely return ... thank you!

Tayler is amazing . She has good listening skills and really hears what your vision for your hair is. She does a great job with both cut and color, as well as highlights. Tayler has a lot of talent and I’d recommend her to anyone. I’ve always been happy with my hair when she is done . Whips salon in Hilton Head is a pretty salon that has a nice, open , comfortable feel to it . I enjoyed it .

What a great salon! I needed a haircut and color touch up, while visiting Hilton Head, and decided to try Whip. I was quite pleased with my experience there, and Mariah was so nice to consult with me and give me exactly what I was looking for. I’ll go back again!

My daughter, 14 years old, has long thick Course hair and it has been unmanageable for her. Maria did an excellent job with moisturizing treatment, thinning, layering and blowout of her hair. Maria was knowledgeable, made recommendations about her haircut, hair care and products. She was very sweet and patient. My daughter was so very happy with the result!

I saw Grace. She is working with me to help me learn to get a style I like and can do myself for a destination wedding in Norway. I found her haircut and blowout to be excellent, and now I just am working on hot tools. I have 2 more appointments before the wedding of one of my sons. 👏🏻🤞🏼

Moving from the UK and finding a hair salon was a difficult task however, WHIP was the way forward! Yesterday I went in for a partial balayage and was very happy with the results as Tess did an amazing job.
