I've been having my hair cut at beauty schools for many years in at least 3 different cities. My Empire Savannah experience has been the least professional. I stopped getting pedicures after a couple of experiences that included a shortage of supplies (nail polish remover, cotton). All 3 times I have visited, services have started 15-30 minutes late. My most recent visit included several minutes of the educator repeatedly yelling at the students to sign in or else...and ended with a price of $22 for a haircut. Part of the motivation to get services at a beauty school is the price. I can get a haircut a the salon around the corner from me for $17 by professionals and that is what I will be doing from now on. I invite the school to consider changes that put respect for the students and the customers as core value of the teaching.

Went there on 10/26/23, Valerie was my stylist. Wash, trim and deep condition was done exceptionally well that I changed my name upon walking out to Lisa lol. Valerie was very professional, took her time and explained the process entirely. She also washed my hair so good I didn't realize that it was her magical little fingers, I thought it was that little scrub brush thingy they use in the salons. Most importantly, she managed to do so without getting any water into my ears. When I go to my professional stylish, I'm left draining water from my ears for at least 3 days. I can't wait to visit Empire Beauty again even though my little Valerie might be gone. Also, I'd like to thank the teacher and the ladies at the front desk who were all so amazingly sweet and made my experience a lasting one.

I had got a silk press and a blunt cut by Marquesha. She is very professional and she did excellent on my cut! She does not rush her work and cares about her customers opinions!

It was an amazing experience. I was scheduled for a tour, because I’m very interested in attending the school. Felicia Oliver was such a great help, she explained everything to me, I enjoyed the tour, and it made me even more excited to be apart of such an amazing facility.

This place is great!! This is the second time I’ve been here but first time for low lights. I met amazing ppl who were very kind and my hair stylist was Megan Phillips. Shes so energetic and has a positive vibe I’m in love with my color that she gave me. She also was very transparent on the process and suggested and completed a color strand test to make sure it was a color I would be happy with. Recommend going here if you’re on a budget or just want to save funds and meet great people! The best part is they really want you to love your hair versus going to a normal hair salon asking for a look and leaving unhappy which has happened to me in the past several times.

I had been a regular client for several months until recently. I am so frustrated with the service I have been receiving. I’m always on time for my appointments but is not seen for 20 to 40 minutes later. I’m told that the stylist is at lunch. The stylist Troy rushes past me running late from somewhere and does not have the decency to acknowledge my presence. He then goes in the back area of the school to play around with his school mates. I ask, what type of professional behavior are the students being taught? Also, for a student who is expecting to graduate in two weeks, who can not curl hair and doesn’t have hair rollers in his possession (to roller set upon request), should not be allowed to graduate. He is just not prepared and apparently not being guided by those in charge at the school. He will fail in the real world.

I came here for the first time. Because I kept having bad experiences at a professional salon and had to pay a lot for not what I liked. I was a little bit nervous about trying out a new place, but let’s give it a try! I was there for a hair cut and a spiral perm. Megan was my heir stylist. She warmly welcomed me, explained every process well, she cares about details and has a great styling sense. She was professional and friendly. My perm turned out super great. Looks natural and organic. I get compliments from many people! I’ve never left feeling good at professional hair salons lol but she made that day! I finally left the hair salon feeling great. Thank you so so sooooo much Megan! She is an amazing hairstylist!

Got my hair colored, cut, and curled by Dylan who was absolutely amazing!! I came in with dyed black hair which was extremely difficult to work with but Dylan kept working on it until it was perfect and I am beyond thankful. I would recommend him for any service!
