Like a home away from home. Janelle and Jack were great hosts, and very helpful with advice regarding Vanuatu travel. It was also fun meeting other travelers. Recommended.

Expensive for the service and the room. Room was not clean enough (some tissues in the floor). The kettle and the toaster were dirty and useless. Breakfast was supposed to be included but it was not provided. The pool is very nice and common area (kitchen and exterior dinning area). The location is fine, 20min to the city market.

Very very overpriced. They ask for 6-7.5 thousand vatu for these rooms. And there's not even hot water. Cleanliness is so so. You can get the same standard in Vila for half the price.

This is a very affordable and decent stay. Hostel people are very kind, nice and they help you with your questions. Their dog Nala is one more reason why you should stay here :)

Having traveled to over 160 countries and staying in some of the nicest places on earth and some of there questionable places on earth as well, I'd have to say the is the best money I have ever spent ever. Janelle is the perfect host. Unreal place. One of the few places I've ever stayed in that I hope to visit again. Dan Falt

We stayed here for two nights at the beginning of our stay in Port Vila. The owner and his daughter were helpful in giving us ferry times and other information needed for our first stay. The room was nice and had everything you need. I would say, you get what you pay for. It is good as a start but I wouldn't stay more than 2 nights here as there are a lot of other comparable stay options in Port Vila as well. You can meet other travelers here if you are looking for that. It is a bit of a walk to the center or you can take a bus.

Friendly, clean, budget accommodation. Much better than your average budget place. Rooms come with a small fridge, kettle and toaster but you'll want to spend your time in the communal dining area chatting with the other guests. Bus drivers don't necessarily know where it is, just tell them "stad"

Compared to other places it's very affordable and the staff is great. My home in Vila because it has great cooking amenities. Many mosquitos during my stay.

I had a wonderful and affordable stay. Gabby, the manager, is so friendly and allowed me access to her whole kitchen and offered many helpful suggestions for getting around. Location is 10 min walking from the center of Vila - along the nice seafront - and has shops nearby

Gossiping about all of their clients, yelling towards their staff. Buying you drinks and then later charging you for them. Very dishonest and unauthentic people

Very nice and helpful staff but the room is very basic and not clean. A new layer of paint on the walls or renovation would be useful. Bed was uncomfortable. As rooms are centered around the kitchen area, if there's people talking and cooking until late at night, is's impossible to sleep. Town center is only a few minutes walk away.
