The slipways are where the Titanic and Olympic were built; the slipways are well preserved with the outlines of the ships marked with LEDs. There are also markings of the smokestacks and lifeboats, which help to give an impression of the actual size of the Titanic.

Impressively layed out with the outline of the Olympic and Titanic, gives you a true scale of the ships.

What a historical place to be. Walk down the very slipway where Titanic and Olympic were constructed and explore a life size plan of Titanic’s Promenade Deck which is inlaid in white stone. Discover the positions of the liner’s lifeboats and funnels and have a seat at one of the benches positioned exactly as they would have been on board the deck of Titanic.

An interesting piece of nautical history playing an important role in the creation of probably the most famous ship in history. A nice place to walk along and explore along the river.

A historic location where both the Titanic and Olympic were laid down during their construction. The sheer size of the slipway and the representation of the ships embedded in the ground are impressive. The slipway is free to visit and definitely worth visiting if in Belfast or the Titanic building.

Great time at the Titanic exhibition and great to see where the most famous ship in the world was actually built. A must for anyone to see.
