As much as I thought I would rate this camp 5⭐️the first day it slowly changed my opinion. Firstly great and friendly lady in the reception and then you have a freedom to set a camp around beautiful lake anywhere you like in designated area which was great. But the same freedom applies to people who wants to play extremely loud music through the night and no one was there to tell them off for both nights of our stay3 night stay. so if you are a normal parent putting your young one to sleep at 10 do not expect it to be easy. Music blasting until at least 1 and if it stops a bit earlier some drunk will decide to start again in the middle of the night waking up everyone. There were no one to tell them off so we had to go and kindly ask ourselves at 1am to reduce it but massive group of drugged drunks just laughed at that and got even louder. After this second experience we did not feel safe to stay for 3rd night so left earlier. Showers on the token meter and rarely supervised by cleaning staff (I would say I’ve seen once throughout our stay). Which I would say would not be big a deal for our stay if not for intimidating neighbours. So overall if you lucky not to have loud drunks around you will enjoy otherwise you will be left to deal with them by yourself. Do not expect usual orderly camping experience there. It’s a wild Wild West without rules.

As I write this I am sat round the camp fire with a cold beer in hand, this is one of the nicest places I have camped in a long time the place has entertainment, food, play parks, donkeys, jet skiing, and wood to camp in ( o and fishing if you want to waste you time that way.....) any who my 6 year old has loved it and me too the best bit is the camping in the wood or field. Try it you will love it Β£15 for the night to Camp Β£15 ......... I ask you ....... so it arrive from 11 and leave for 1pm ........ 1pm ....... how good it that

Gorgeous little glamping pods beautifully done, everything you need and more. Hot tub was great, rooms lovely and snug. Took my dog and had a lovely early morning walk round the lake. Perfect little get away will definitely be going back to try the other pods.

Really enjoyed my visit here. Warden was helpful, shop staff friendly. Looks a little tired but it’s all well maintained. Will be returning again. 110 percent recommended. One fault is the website for the park needs an overhaul, but I guess over time it will be done.

We have a caravan on site, Elaine and Peter have been so helpful from day one, they are amazing as you only ever see Elaine or Peter who run the site. They work hard and do their best multi tasking around the site. I have read reviews on hear saying about loud music and dirty showers which isn't fare as yes the campers have music but all music is off by 11, 12 at latest. The showers are dated but cleaned throughout the day but campers at night especially at weekends obviously don't respect them. The place is nice friendly and some lovely walks for dogs, can get noisy with weekend campers, jet skiing motocross but that's all part of things to do. Overall a good cheap site cheap cheerful and what you make it.

First time we've been away in the campervan, this is not too far from where we live so very convenient. Must say I loved it,plenty going on and it was early in the year. Lovely people and a very relaxed atmosphere. I'm an anxious person but found I was so relaxed and would recommend it and will be going again.

Great if you like noise. I have been twice to fish it now the noise is unbearable how people can live there with that racket going on I don’t know. Staff great polite but the place is far to noisy for fishing and relaxation.πŸ‘Ž

Where to start, its a very nice location and the grandkids thoroughly enjoyed playing in the woods and on the park with the other kids, but it is dated and rough around the edges one of the other reviews stated that it looked like a "scrapyard for old caravans" and I can't say I disagree, although outdated the toilet and showers where clean enough (not like some of the reviews would have you believe) And yes there is music and partying going on well past the midnight cut off because there is nobody about to police it. Even though the Grandkids have asked to go again I think we will be giving this one a wide berth in the future.

Camping for 3 days in 26degree heat please explain how I tell a 2 yr old a 5 yr old & a 9yr old they are not allowed to use the pool I was desperate to cool them off because of the heat too could only get them on a go cart once what a nightmare very poor for a haven we have used haven couple times a year for over 25 years & never had a problem but this was ridiculous couldn't wait to get home ☹️😑

This is a vibrant campsite with electric hook ups for caravans only. There are some glamping accommodation pitches for tents as well.wooded area's and plenty of walking. Fishing on the lake you can rent rod's here to. Camp fires are allowed on site shop catering van...a clubhouse playground and a lake for jet skies (can be noisy) toilets and showers... great place to visit

Lovely place to spend time, and take the dog for a walk in nature, clean lakes and the site is kept really tidy, staff in the shops are friendly and helpful. Peaceful place to get away, the wildlife agrees as we saw otters in the lake and pheasants in the woods, mushrooms all over the trees, there is golfing, fishing, a bike track and other seasonal activities, so there's a good mix for anyone wanting to visit, one of my favorite places.

Stayed here with my family .. never again . The toilets was disgusting and it was like a free for all once you got through the gates. People riding round on motorbikes and loud music and parties all night long . Very loud . This place is just a mesd

Stopped for a look around and refreshment with partner and his children. Loud, drunk and rowdy families in the middle of the day. My partners child was assaulted by a boy about 12 years old on the park (repeatedly) before we could get to him. Very upsetting afternoon. It does have a feral vibe to the place.

Camp site very tied, we went for jet Skiing absolutely brilliant, all staff were helpful & very friendly. We did here the whole place is having a mega makeover, it desperately needs it. We would go again as we can use our own facilities.

Well stay here for two night with the family so we have 7 tents in all, not much open no shop that was closed down only one open was by the play park only selling ice-cream & sweet no good if you want food !! Lucky we find a shop couple miles down the road. We have no keys for the shower block someone was not working that wed to get a keys was toilet open but was ok, one toilet door have wood missing so you can see in not nice if you sat on the toilet!! Are camping area was not that clear ended up pick up some rubbish by walking around they was rubbish on the ground and was lots bag of rubbish not far from my tent been open by the wild life. And the road around the site in bad condition just needy a good updating. We did find a play centre down the road for the young one and there all enjoy going to that so we enjoy staying there big family get together just need someone to walk about and see the site keen clear and the road sorting out at Β£20 per tent per night , like to go again went it be upgraded

So I must point out we haven't stayed here we got a recommendation and decided to go and have a look. I have to say I wouldn't stay here if it was the last campsite on earth. I honestly thought it was a scrap yard for old touring caravans. Don't even wanna know what the showers etc must be like. Looks rough as . Still if you like camping in a Bradford council estate this could be just the place for you😬

We enjoyed our stay only thing the pub only takes cash and there is no cash machine and shops open when they feel like they don't have opening times staff are friendly and helpful

Beautiful scenery, nice dog walks through the woods, lots going on, great if you are taking kids but the cheap prices mean it does attract rowdy folk so be prepared to be surrounded by noisy people.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ A perfect place in my eyes! Well cut grass, they must collect the grass as they cut as no grass made it’s way into our van! The facilities were spotless at all times. The owner was lovely and smiley. The site wasn’t littered with does and dont’s! Very refreshing. Was very happy to pay for the shower...

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Fantastic camping spot with brilliant owners. Was too wet to camp so Ron offered us the choice to stay in one of the on-site huts at no extra cost. Would recommend.
