I have visited this place with my sister and son as he is obsessed with sushi 🍣 the place is quite small and feels a bit cramped but it has a lovely atmosphere to it. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The menu is overwhelming with the variety of food so even the most picky eater will find something they will enjoy! The presentation of the food was very fun and I definitely recommend this place!

Main reason to visit this place was because I wanted to try mochi desert. And yes, I liked it so much. So definitely coming again. Apart from that, ordered salmon ramen (don't remember precise name anymore) which was very tasty, a bit of spicy but nothing overboard. My husband loved the beef one. And in general were really happy about the place. Special thank you to the staff, very friendly and polite. Another thing that I just loved, was the atmosphere. Finally no loud music. The space is actually quite small, however this wasn't an issue. I think it was so relaxing, that finally you don't need to shout to communicate to othe person. Some nice chilling music, that just make you relax and really enjoy everything. This for me is the the main reason why I would come back again. And of course mochi. So definitely recommend to visit this place.

Today I got takeaway from this restaurant. The miso soup and the sushi was all Tokyo standard food. This was my first experience of the location, the staff were very friendly and I am going back once lockdown is over to sit in. amazing quality food. The quality of the seafood was superb. the menu is very impressive. Worth a visit definitely. The octopus was particularly nice as was the salmon. going to dine in tomorrow (Oct 2021), have reviewed the menu, and will post photos and comments tomorrow. based on the past, I am expecting a great meal Today, was excellent, the food and the staff were excellent. Only in Belfast for three days and selected this restaurant based on previous reviews. We weren’t disappointed. Small friendly restaurant and great food. Had a mixture of gyoza, tempura, skewers and edamame - all delicious.

The Vegetable Gyoza were really delicious. I personally have mixed feelings about the Kimchi Beef Ramen noodles. I enjoyed the toppings: the slices of beef were tender and the kimchi was flavorful. However, I was disappointed with the type of noodles they used. I was expecting Japanese style ramen noodles instead of the curly noodles I had. Also, my dish had a large amount of beansprouts in it. The service was brilliant and the restaurant is lovely. This was my first time visiting the restaurant but I promise to be back to try some of the other dishes!

DELICIOUS food!! Maybe a bit expensive but the portion was MASSIVE which absolutely made it worth the price. The food tasted so good. The service was quick and the staff were very friendly. The decor was beautiful too

This is one of the best Japanese restaurants in Belfast. My kids love sushi and kamakura did not disappoint. The sushi boat presentation was like a work of art and tasted even better. My daughter said the salt & chilli squid was the best she ever had. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us 5*+

Food was top notch. Service was amazing. Slight error in our order, was fixed immediately & we were well taken care of (above & beyond actually) Sushi was fresh & absolutely delicious. Kimchi Ramen was best we ever had. Tempura was perfect. Even ordered takeaway to bring back to hotel. Can’t wait to return. Excellent value for money.

Absolutely love coming here when I'm in Belfast. Always get some sushi, gyozas, and either teppanyaki or a ramen bowl. Can swap out ramen noddles for rice noodles (which some places don't do). They also have a special lunch menu option which is really good value (comes in a little bento box type thing).

Best Japanese restaurant I have ever been in. Lovely staff, phenomenal food and a very creative menu. Highly recommend it.

A great restaurant for authentic Japanese food. Had the seafood ramen which was amazing. The broth was just perfect, with a rich umami to it. The noodles and toppings were all fresh and tasty. My tip for the chef would be to place the Fish Tempura higher above the ramen level, as most of the crispy part was inside the ramen... The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was great. I would highly recommend and return on my next visit to Belfast.

Booking essential. Super fast service. Had Salmon Sashimi and Seafood Ramen upon waiter recommendation. Sushi was fresh and really big portion. Seafood ramen was tasty, had squid, egg, prawns. Salmon pieces were interesting interpretation (battered, leading to soggy texture whilst in soup), but nonetheless delicious.

I had a salmon ramen and it was super delicious! It was not cheap (£17) but the grilled salmon on top was generous! The service was great. They accommodated us despite not having reservation and at a busy time.

Very busy when we visited around 7pm. I'm guessing it is recommended to book. Smallish place but bright and homely. I had the Beef Kimchi Ramen with Pork Gyoza as a side/starter. Both were filling and exceptional, if a little pricey, but that's the way things are going nowadays.

I'm not a sushi fan but my partner is and she is always bringing me out to try sushi in a bid to change my mind. This place was top class, loads on offer on the menu, food came out super quick and the service was excellent! Very attentive lot in there and super respectful to your presence in their establishment. Parking outside is grand after 6pm on a Friday through until Sunday. We'll be back, great grub! We ended up ordering nearly too much food in the end 😂

The restaurant is a little bit compact but it has a lovely atmosphere of traditional Japanese themes. Although it can be a little bit expensive the portion sizes are big and very fresh. There's a good choice of ramen, sushi, yakisoba and starters. They have good options for vegetarian people also.

Nice experience in this little japanese restaurant. The atmosphere its super 🇯🇵. The ramen was huge, but we were surpriced that the noodles were cuts… the taste was really nice. Full of seafood. The gyosas were perfects!! Definatelly a really nice place to try. Thank you!

The food is really delicious and are great portion sizes too, staff are friendly and welcoming. The sushi dishes are presented beautifully as are the rest of the dishes too. The service is quick here and the desserts were nice too

The food is good (less spicy for my taste), they have a few vegan options as well. Do try the fried dumplings! Cozy ambiance too.

We visited on a Saturday evening which got quite busy after 8pm (definitely book if you can!). We both ordered the ramen (chicken ramen and kimchi chicken ramen) which were both delicious! The soups were fairly spicy, there were great toppings and the noodles tasted fresh. The food was great, the restaurant was nicely decorated and clean, the staff were incredibly friendly, however the prices were just a little higher than expected. Will definitely be back!
