This is the place to go if you want 'proper' Indian food. We tried several Indian restaurants in Albufeira but this was by far the best. Excellent, fast and friendly service but most of all those great spicy flavours. Good portions, excellent house wine, you can't go wrong.

One of the best Indian restaurant in the Albufeira. It was a very sudden visit to go over there with my friend.initially I didn't had the munch expectation for the food and service. But once I had the experience. It was so over whelmed .food was amazing and service was so spot on every single need was well taken care of.. So again I thought let me try 2 more time to see the consistency of the food and service. but it was same as it was expected .finally I got the best place to enjoy my meal and 100 percent recomendation for the family and friends.

I recommend : Made in  India satisfied our craving for Indian food and in true sense food felt like 'Made in India'. Service was excellent too. Pappadams with chutneys are served complimentary at the start and on our request freshly cut onion was provided. We ordered a) Tandoori Prawns - they were juicy and flavourful b) Shahi Paneer - since in a lot of restaurants the dish tastes sweet, we requested to be made less sweet. Paneer and the gravy was tasty. c) Garlic naan was perfect just the way I like it - crispy, yet soft d) Dal Makhani - though we liked everything we had, Dal Makhani was our favourite of them all. It was creamy and flavourful. e) Gulab Jaamun - soft and delicious f) Mango Lassi - my daughter enjoyed the lassi.

Good Indian food with a very friendly owner and service personnel. The taste was really good and also had a proper authentic Indian taste. One star minus because the curry are not served with rice 🍚 and you have to order extra.

This place deserves every single positive review and hype. The service and staff are lovely. I had the chili garlic chicken with plain naan, and it was absolutely amazing. It was perfectly cooked and flavourful. I also asked if they could tame the spice level a little for me and they were happy to accommodate. They also put the dishes on a candle burner so it doesn’t get cold while you’re eating your meal. Bonus for travellers - this place takes card!

Great food, prices, portions and service. Can’t rate the food high enough. Been coming to Albufeira for many years and never tried this place before, some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had, give it whirl you won’t be disappointed!

We visited Made in India twice whilst in Albufeira and on both occasions the meals were excellent, being nicely cooked and very tasty. There was a good selection on the menu and the meals are reasonably priced. They also had a touristic menu for a fixed price meal. The staff were friendly and helpful. If I ever have the opportunity I would definitely go back.

At first glance internally it is much need of at least a coat of paint and maybe an upfront area but we didn't visit hear for the decor. Most review sites give it a high rating for the quality of the food, we arrived early evening so it was understandable that when we arrived only one other table was in use. The polite member of waiting staff took or order, 3 starters and 2 main courses, I would say that there was a 15 to minute wait before the starters arrived, the quality of the food made up for the wait. Again we then waited around 15 minutes for the main course to arrive, the other guest and I could not fault the quality of the food. We then requested our bill, what is in my opinion not acceptable was the then 25/30 wait to then receive the bill. Other reviewers have said that they received complimentary poppadoms but not in our case.

We arrived and the restaurant was full and we had 8 people, the staff were very gracious and asked us to wait a bit and they would get a table for us. Everyone that works there serves with a smile and they are on point with details. My husband and I ordered vegetable samosas that were so tasty but the homemade spicy green sauce that accompanies them is absolutely fantastic!!! We had saag paneer medium spiced, lamb vindaloo spicy, chicken masala medium spice and plain naan. Everything was cooked perfectly with perfect spice, good portion and very delicious. We loved the food so much it is our go to for Indian now and we have tasted All of the Indian restaurants in Albufeira.

We picked one Indian Cuisine restaurant to visit during our stay in Albufeira during our holiday week last January. Made in India seemed to tick all the right boxes and we weren't disappointed when we went for lunch on 15th. This is low season so the restaurant was nice and quiet, not so good for business though. The boss, also chef in the establishment was very welcoming and we had nothing to complain about the food quality either, everything we had was deliciously prepared and the lady who attended the service was attentive, well mannered and very pleasant. A white wine from the Alentejo with Antão Vaz grape is always a great choice with Far-eastern spicy dishes. We loved the choice of decor and the gingham table clothes too. Highly recommended.

I thoroughly recommend this place for curry lovers, it was as good as anything I have had back home. Service was exemplary, food was absolutely delicious and the outdoor setting as the weather was cooling down was just perfect. Will 💯 be back here!

The best Indian food in Albufeira with incredible service! My wife and I have eaten here twice now and will return again before we leave Portugal. While there are many wonderful Indian Cuisine restaurants in Albufeira, Made in India is top! Not only is their food superb, but the service is incredible. Each time we visit, we are welcomed as family. They're ingredients are so fresh, cooked to order, and they are happy to customize your dish to your desired spice; their biryani is the best in town! Some of my additional favorites are their garlic chili naan, madras, vindaloo, lamb tikka, and garlic rice. Thank you for always providing us with a beautiful dining experience that feels like home 🤍

Fantastic meal and Rasheed was a great server! My daughter and I came in today at a really odd hour so we had the place to ourselves. The food was delicious, there was a huge variety on the menu, and they even had a couple of simple items for picky kids. Which made this mama really happy. :)

Loved my prawn jakfrezi, it was excellent! Everything else was also perfect an thd prices good.

Lovely food. We ordered on Uber Eats and the food was lovely. I wouldn't normally be into Indian food but this was a gem to find. Portions seem small but they are just right. Great value for money also. Uber Eats delivery was fast and efficient.

I cannot recommend this place more. If you’re in the area and want authentic Indian food, look no further. The hospitality and the food we received was fantastic.

food is super delicious. price is affordable for albufeira. reduce one star because charging plain basmati rice for more than 2 euro seems to be too much.

Fantastic food and fantastic service. There was a desert on the menu we had never heard of and the waiter brought us a sharing bowl free of charge! Super friendly and we will definitely go back.

Had a great evening dining in at "Made in India". We were warmly welcomed and really well looked after throughout. We had a few beers to begin and they gave us fresh poppadums to snack on while we enjoyed our €2 large lagers! The menu is full of familiar dishes and to say the produce was freshly prepared is an understatement. We loved our starters, mains, rice and breads! Partha and the other staff were so nice and attentive - I will definitely will be back.

A fabulous little restaurant serving the best Indian I have had outside India - London included. The menu is extensive but each of the dishes are authentic and offers a unique balance of the spices which makes each of them distinctive. The service is great and Mr. Bhandari who owns this place and acts both as chef and front of house, is a very hospitable man who was very flexible in meeting our groups demand which included 3 kids. We had breakfast which was a special experience and also had rolls delivered which were very handy when we went to the beach/ airport. All in all a real gem and a revelation which uplifted the already brilliant holiday.
