Huge selection of name brand goods as well as exquisite local Maine offerings across nearly every category. Deli, butcher, and bakery are all eye popping, and the beer selection is phenomenal. Friendly staff and smiling faces round out a pleasant experience and my new go-to when I'm in town.

One aspect that truly stood out was the phenomenal customer service we received. The staff at Bow Street Market went above and beyond to ensure our visit was enjoyable and memorable. But what truly warmed our hearts was the special attention given to my daughter's curiosity. She was particularly fascinated by the lobsters in the tank, and one of the associates, recognizing her interest, kindly took the time to engage her in a learning adventure. It's the little moments and attention to detail that sets businesses apart from others.

It's a giant gourmet marker that isn't overpriced or pretentious. Seriously, so many great options of so very many items - An impressive selection at reasonable prices, great staff, friendly atmosphere. My only regret is that it's hundreds of miles away

Bow Street Market is a very homey type of supermarket; I enjoy shopping there very much. Tons of different cold cut options AND the best --- Boar's Head. Many types of pre-made salads. I recommend the Greek pasta salad. A fantastic meat dept. Though, I do miss their store-made crapple. Prices of grocery items are comparable to Shaw's or Hanniford's. Oh, almost forgot... A wide variety of made-in-Maine items.

Super helpful staff members, great deals at the meat counter, always fresh produce and though it is a smaller market, we can always find just what we are looking for. Clean, efficient, well stocked and always friendly!

Absolutely beautiful store with great options but your delivery drivers are brutal. i was going ten over and was tailgated so close that I couldn’t see their headlights in my rear view mirror. It gives the store a bad reputation.

The first time I had an horrible experience here. I know it has been a couple of years since I been in to grab a sandwich; but they were not accommodating at all, they weren't even busy to take time out to make a Build your own sandwich. I asked the deli if they could make a Genoa, and Provolone cheese sandwich, as I have done numerous times in the past, and this time they said due to the fact that they get busy, that the Genoa, is mixed in with other meats, it comes pretty packaged, and I have to order the combo sandwich. They don't make build your own sandwiches, even though the menu on the glass said you could make your own sandwich. They were not willing to make a simple, easy sandwich, so I left. Ridiculous, especially when you order the sandwiches from a deli. 🤦‍♂️ I will have to go to Sam's the next time I'm in Freeport, and get hungry for a Sandwich. I was disappointed, it wasn't the Bow St Market that I remember going to through out my life.

Be very careful with this market. They appear to be routinely shorting customers on weight. When contacted, a manager named Adam responded angrily, "Do you have nothing better to do than complain about chicken? Shop somewhere else." and hung up abruptly. This is absolutely not the way to win friends and influence people, and I hope that the people in charge of this market take notice and do something about this reprehensible behavior.

Bow Street Market is a great gourmet market on the eastern fringes of Freeport Village. Parking can be tight at busy times and the price point is a bit higher than the larger supermarkets. But you get quality and several hard to find items (ground ostrich, mince meat with actual meat in it, ground duck, joy joy!). But keep in mind that this is a gourmet market (manager's specials are MIA). Just keep this in mind going in, and you'll do fine.

Local market. Great deli and seafood. Has many of Hannaford store brands and many local farmers' produce. Friendly and helpful staff. Almost everyone wears masks.

Bought lobsters at this location today….1 female was laden with eggs. Two of them had been “scrubbed” it’s pretty sad that such a prestigious market would enable the selling of illegal lobsters- obviously they care more about the dollar bill vs responsible harvest of a resource. Perhaps they are buying them from out of state? Instead of supporting our local lobstermen. I will never shop here again. I encourage others to do the same and hold them accountable.

Stopped in on our way back from Boston to pick up a special beer. The woman stocking the cooler was super helpful. Unfortunately she had just sold the last 6 pack. She was very knowledgeable about the brewer & helped me find something else. We ended up grabbing lunch from the deli. Very good Italian! Looks like a very nice store! We will stop in again !

As a Longh Island, NY transplant, I was on the search for Boars Head deli meats. Thankfully Bow St. is local enough that it is in no way an inconvenience. Many NY delis use Boars Head and my tastebuds can yell the difference. While the store can get a little cramped at times, and the parking lot is usually full, Boars Head is well worth it for me. The steak, chicken, pork, and seafood at the counter always looks fresh and amazing.

I particularly like this little store. Good deli! Love the hot meals since i work locally. Well stocked merchandise. Great staff, very friendly and helpful team at the front end. Entryway is always a bit touch and go with other guests.

Great market. I love the meat market. Unfortunately today I asked for two of the largest steak tip strips and was given one that was about .78 lbs and the other wan only .34 lbs…. I definitely saw larger ones than .34…

Wonderful locally owned market. Excellent fresh cuts of meats with butchers at the ready. Fresh seafood/live lobsters. Large Deli selection, meats, salads and made to order sandwiches. Unique Maine brands and flavors. Good size spirts section and walk in fridge. Great Bakery selection with some of Maines finest pies! Support local, shop here you won't regret it.
