We saw this on an absolutely beautiful day! The water was perfectly mirroring the bridge, which made for some amazing photographs! Another Covered Bridge, but this time we came across it in Maine. What can we say, theyโ€™re full of history and they are so fun to photograph!

Its a small bridge I visited last year, its surrounded by a beautiful water and trees. Fall colors have made the entire place stunning. Its a not crowded place and a great place for bird watching. You can hear continuous chirping of birds. I always find cover bridges beautiful and its one of them.

It was so cool to see a covered bridge in Maine. There is a parking spot off-road so you can stop & take pictures.

Nice place to visit and possibly take a dip in the water. Bridge was rebuilt in 1976 so it is not original but still very cool.

Nice place. This is my first time there. The stairs leading to the water need work so exercise caution. Looks like a great place to fish from a boat, especially if there has been sufficient rain all season to keep the water level up. On our next trip there we will explore the bank on the other side of the bridge.

Great spot for family photos with the bridge and along the river.

My daughter lives close to this spot. We visit the covered bridge when we go to Maine. The river is Crystal clear and there are rope swings, from the bridge and surrounding trees. The current is fairly fast so some sort of flotation device is highly recommended. An excellent way to spend an afternoon. Paddling or just floating.

Such a fun family spot to swim. Be careful of fast moving currents off shore. rope swings for older kids and adults are fun.

Great little covered bridge, lovely water... one of Maine's many historical covered bridges. Rope swings underneath, an obvious enjoyment by the locals.

Amazing swimming hole for the whole family. Clean and serene this spot is beautiful. Equipt with 3 or 4 rope swings. And a shallow area for the kids.

This was an amazing stop on our "Leaf Peeping" tour. The bridge is still in use and one of 9 in the state

I've been coming here since my college days and it's changed a bit but still nice, you can go on walking trails or carefully walk down to the water and enjoy the scenery and serenity...especially in the autumn.

Babbs is located in Gorham. Apparently it's the local swimming hole which killed the mood as I was just focused on the bridge. You can drive through to continue on your way.
