PACKEN SIE ES AN, sehr geehrter Herr Oliveira Martins.

I must agree with many other travelers here the hotel is dated, however, everything is still working functionally. It has an 80's look from the reception till your room. Staff was kind and check in fast. Odd thing are the elevators - 6 of them, all working, but the floors they serve are scattered so you can use only two of them for your floor - never seen that. It gets confusing when you go from the restaurant to the pool or your room. Room was very spacious, had a great city view from 13 floor. Furniture is matured, but beds were comfy. Bathroom likewise. Breakfast was very rich with plenty to choose from and an egg live cooking station. The top floor pool was awesome, very big in size, clean and with great views. Aside is a hot tub and sauna. They have underground private parking for a very reasonable fee of around 7 Euros per day. Location is not in the tourist center, but in a residential area. Plenty options to reach it by public transport, but we preferred walking through local neighborhoods which took us around 20 min. Considering the price of around 100 Euros for double with breakfast, we found it a good deal and would stay again.

I had been in this hotel several times with my wife. We were dating and we went every year and stayed for 10 days. Everyone in this hotel is excellent. We live in Dallas, Texas. I recommend this hotel to everyone. Everyone in this hotel is excellent. From the girls that clean the rooms to the managers. This is the only hotel that I stay in Portugal and other countries. They have Vila Gale in Brazil. They are excellent. You will love this hotel. It is also very clean and very secure. You will not worry if you are with your family.

Great hotel, excellent location. Had parking loot in the hotel with dissent cost. Rooms can be a bit old fashion but in general comfortable. Breakfast is OK, English style. Stayed few times for a few nights every time. Definitely return.

Nice hotel. When we checked in late we still had to await for our room. When we checked out we requested if we could have a late check @ 15pm but were denied this. I was a little desappointed. But we had a nice stay in the hotel and would recommend

I'd give them 5 stars if they answered the phone... The spa is amazing, the service is awesome, the staff is friendly. The hotel itself might be in need of a makeover, but it's perfectly adequate and is very well situated if you want to sight see or want to enjoy Porto's lively nightlife. Close to various theaters and restaurants you will definitely enjoy. The very best feature of this hotel is the breathtaking view of Porto. Don't miss going to the spa, even if it's just to catch an eye full of architecture.

The rooms were a bit dated but still comfortable. Walking distance to the bus and close by there is a store if you don’t mind hills. A bit out of the way so be ready to get taxis. The pool was very nice with an amazing view.

Room: Very good and large / Floor 13 with a beautiful point of view but particurlarly : Perfect welcome by Selco : Smily and kindly. Selco confirms the good portuguese mindset. Thank you Selco.

Good value. What I just don't like is that even the basic necessity which is drinking water is not free. No free toothpaste/brush either. All people love free items when it comes to hotel accommodations. Nevertheless, it is still a nice hotel. The staff are nice and accommodating.

Could be a nice hotel, but some ecentials is lacking. The equipment in the fitness room is out of date, the threadmills don't work. My daughter asked the reception for water in the night, because she was ill. She was told she could order room service if she wanted water. 😳 not great service. Under average breakfast. Cheap produce. Nice rooms, but aircondition don't work. No iron, if your shirt has been in a suitcase. Nice location. Will not be coming back. Sorry 😔

Very nice hotel stay! Rooms were clean and service was good. View was amazing from our room at the 13th floor. The breakfast was really good and varied. The spa is nice and has an amazing view. The only thing that wasn't great is their reservation system for breakfast and spas, it is very archaic and seems to bug out a lot. Other than that, great stay!

This was the best place we stayed in Portugal. The staff was super. I got sick and they brought up soup. Pretty rooms, spacious. Loved the area to. Easy to get various rides or to walk to the sights. Loved it !

Very old rooms with uncomfortable beds. It is a very busy and understaffed hotel, so expect line ups and waiting line. I stayed on the line for room service for a long time and no answer. The room keys got reset during our stay, and another line up to get it fixed (apparently happened to many). In short, stay away from this hotel if you can.

Location was a bit awkward to find but the staff was very friendly. We only went there for a small instance but the place had a good ambience. For a hotel with a certain hight regard, it's a bit ridiculous to be serving canned food in the cafeteria but not a surprise in Portugal unfortunately.

Nice place to visit 😊 specially in the bad weather outside. For €15 pp you can have nice size swimming pool 1.5m deep and jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. For swimming and jacuzzi you need using swimming cap. If you don't have they offer in reception for €4. All those in is located on 19th floor with fantastic panoramic view on city Porto 👌 😍.

Comfortable room. We were 3 adults sharing. Plenty of storage but let down by the pillows. My room mate did not appreciate having to lok at Picasso's 'Bedroom' picture.

We stayed 4 nights in this “4 star” hotel. Very dated hotel. Rust colored carpet with big bleach stain right at entry. Old wooden furniture with fabric headboard with buttons. Reminded me of an 1970 old Las Vegas hotel room. Every evening 5 huge tour buses show up and hundreds of people get off and come into the hotel. You can’t even get into the elevator area and never mind get to the reception area. Breakfast was packed and all the buses full of people would leave in the morning. We used expresso pods first morning and they were never replaced during our 4 night stay. We made reservations for dinner and when we ordered tenderloin steaks, we were informed that the hotel only had 1 steak so only one of us could have steak. Yes you read that right an 18 floor hotel with hundreds of rooms the restaurant only had one steak. Unbelievable!! Another thing about this hotel is that is far away from the city center and there is a park directly in front the of hotel where homeless people stay. I would recommend staying elsewhere and will never return.

Good hotel with clean rooms and good service. Receptionist Paulo is a real professionist in his job. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Hotel located in a strategic point of Porto. Just cross the street and you already have access to a supermarket, subway station, bus stop, restaurants (vegan and non-vegan). Porto bus station is in the basement of the hotel and Santa Catarina street is 700m away, about 7 minutes on foot.

Great SPA with amazing view. Rooms are clean, modern and spacious. Good breakfast with a lot of variety. The hotel has, globally, a nice "feel" to it and is close to the city center. I didn't like the fact I had to pay upfront.

Quite small but clean friendly, just 10 min walk from the center, while u have the impression u stay in a village. Small cafés and restaurants in the area with mostly local clientele. Goodd breakfast too.

Spectacular service. The beds are comfortable but they rotate pillows on a daily basis and sometimes you get very big pillows. Great breakfast. The hotel has a basic gym to stay on shape. It also has a pool, jacuzzi, and sauna. The view is fantastic. Live music on Saturdays and Sundays.

Location, building, service, very comfortable room, warm and homely. A nice feel in a modern space

Booked and payed for a room for 1 night. Unfortunately, forgot my physical ID during arriving, but shown plenty of scanned docs and credit cards with my name, and there were literally nothing reception could do except saying that it wasn’t possible to check-in. And it wasn’t possible to return me already payed money. Zero loyalty, negative flexibility and dozens of minutes waiting for them to contact management.

Pretty decent hotel. A/C in room not working but fixed quickly. Decent breakfast. No tea or coffee in standard room which is a big minus for me. Not sure if that is 'normal' in Portugal.

Great location, about 20 min walk from historic Porto. Lots of great restaurants within 15 to 20 min walk. 25 min walk from the Porto stadium. The hotel great service, clean room with a beautiful city view.

Beautiful hotel but there are not many elevators according to their capacity and floors

  • 3/5 Ruben Freitas (. 1 year ago on Google
Only two elevators depending on your floor meant almost 15 min waiting time on breakfast (8h30). This happened everyday

Rooms un cleaned and carpet with stains and not vacuumed felt very congested and AC not working properly, would not recommend and definitely not coming back

  • 3/5 Wessel K. 1 year ago on Google
Things to note: - The rooms are outdated (wooden interior, old small bathtub, not all sides of the bed have a electric plug) - The parking is full in the evening, so make sure to arrive early in the afternoon. Else expect to end up paying around € 24 for a parking garage over night. - The safe cost € 2.50 a night, you can buy the key at the reception.

I have never seen such poor service attitude, obviously racist. All the staff are poker faces, especially the two girls at the reception desk. As a 4-star hotel, it is very unqualified.

Hotel is very well located, just beside the bus station, 15 min walk from city centre and nice restaurants. Rooms are clean and quiet, very friendly staff and breakfast is absolutely amazing.

17th floor and window opened inwards fully. Broken not attached safety catch. Food good but my god place is so noisy at Breakfast.

Without any doubt, this hotel is one of the best ones. I really enjoyed spending time in this amazing hotel. The staff were so kind and they fluently spoke English as well as Portuguese. They do their best to make amazing experience. I highly recommend this fantastic hotel. Note that there is a very beautiful indoor pool in this hotel. You can become as a member of this hotel's club to benefit from some discounts, etc. Give it a try👍👍👍👍
