The
bookshop
certainly
deserves
its
reputation
as
one
of
the
most
beautiful
bookstores
in
the
world.
However,
the
price
to
pay
for
a
short
and
unsatisfactory
visit
is
quite
high
in
time
and
money.
First
of
all,
the
queue
lasts
at
least
an
hour
due
to
their
poor
organization:
it
would
be
more
logical
to
stagger
the
reservations
of
the
entrances
by
time
but
they
don't.
Furthermore,
it
is
not
possible
to
book
the
entrance
ticket
from
the
website
(5
euros,
not
a
few)
because,
I
quote
the
words
of
a
saleswoman,
"the
banks
do
not
cooperate".
Isn't
it
the
fault
of
the
site
that
doesn't
work
well?
For
this
reason
I
had
to
pay
the
ticket
there
(paying
6
euros)
by
queuing
up
a
lot.
It
must
be
said
that
by
paying
the
"modest"
amount
of
15
euros
you
can
skip
the
line
directly.
However,
given
that
the
price
of
the
5
and
6
euro
ticket
entitles
you
to
an
equivalent
discount
on
a
book
purchased
inside,
if
this
mechanism
also
applies
to
the
15
ticket,
then
it
would
be
the
most
convenient.
Once
inside,
if
you
have
tolerance
for
the
mass
of
crowded
tourists,
you
will
be
impressed
by
the
wonderful
staircase.
There
are
also
beautiful
editions
of
the
bookshop,
certainly
expensives,
but
which
you
can
pay
less
by
taking
advantage
of
the
discount
you
are
entitled
to
with
the
entrance
ticket.
It
is
a
pity
that
there
are
not
many
books
published
by
Lello,
in
particular
too
few
Portuguese
authors,
and
that
the
other
editions
simply
suck,
especially
considering
the
price.
Obviously,
given
the
enormous
tourist
flow,
the
books
on
display
are
almost
all
ruined
(in
case
you
want
to
buy,
ask
the
shop
assistants
if
they
have
any
others
in
stock)
and
in
English.
Finally,
I
recommend
the
large
shopping
bag:
15
cents
and
you
can
take
home
an
extra
beautiful
souvenir!
