My family and I went every single morning that we stayed in Porto! We have all tried different foods from the menu, and every single one was wonderful! Our breakfast was absolutely delicious and tasty. We got to try one of the specials; ordered the croissant, replacing Benedict eggs for scrambled; and I need to say that the shrimp was full of flavor. Also order the Dulce de leche pancakes that had a different touch with the popcorn added to it; everything was really good.

One of the best breakfasts I have ever had. The flavours were great and the presentation was amazing. I really loved the coffee! It is sad that I live in the UK otherwise I would be here everyday. The staff was really helpful and professional, too. I would recommend that to everyone that lives or visits Porto.

We were looking for a good place to eat breakfast and, after searching online, we found this restaurant with a very high rating. Overall, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was truly great — very pleasant and welcoming. We both ordered eggs benedict, one with salmon and the other with bacon. The salmon is house-made, which was a nice touch and tasted quite good. However, while the food was good, it didn’t fully meet our expectations considering the high reviews. The experience could have been much better — for example, if the bread had been toasted and the eggs had been served hotter (they were actually a bit cold), it would have made a big difference. In short, it's a nice place with great service and ambiance, but there is definitely room to improve the dishes so that they match the level of everything else.

We had bacon and eggs, a shrimp Benedict croissant (which was amazing), and I had the dulce de leche pancakes. This brunch spot is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, everything was perfect—the cozy ambiance, the friendly service, and most importantly, the food. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. But the real star? The pistachio matcha—it was out of this world! Creamy, nutty, and perfectly balanced, it’s easily the best I’ve ever had. If you’re a matcha lover (or even if you’re not), this is a must-try. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

We had planned to go to CA Downtown Brunch, but upon arriving, a server immediately called out to us like a touristy place, which didn’t give the best first impression. The restaurant offers good food with generous portions. However, the atmosphere feels a bit like a factory—efficient but impersonal. The waiters are polite, but their friendliness comes off as forced. It’s a place that delivers on the food but lacks the warmth and authenticity.

Long story short: this is a nice place but for me there is no food experience, eggs were cold, we suspected after they brought them in just minutes when the place was already getting full. So you will get good flavours but this is not a food experience. I told them about it, and they tried to amend the situation, we explained that it was fine we didn't want more eggs, since we finished them. They continued to try to have us something when we have already mentioned we didn't want anything, so I felt forced to accept a coffee, seems like no doesn't mean no here. I understand the urge to satisfy the customer but this is not the way, listen to the customer if they say no, and don't push them. Coffee was good, tasty but the caramel was all that in the bottom, as if there was a lot and never made a caramel latte, it was latte and a bottom of unmixed caramel. The place was noisy. We were there really early specifically on a Sunday, to have a chill breakfast and we left because I couldn't think, it was too much around. We love it though they are pet friendly, so bring your fluff, they are welcome and they have pots for the water

I had an amazing experience at Ca Downtown in Porto. The sourdough sandwich with brisket and cheese was absolutely delicious — truly out of this world! The meat was tender, the bread perfectly crisp, and the flavors were well-balanced. On top of that, the staff was incredibly friendly, quick, and attentive. They not only served with a smile but also took the time for a nice chat, making the atmosphere feel warm and welcoming. Highly recommended for both the food and the outstanding service!
