This restaurant is simply fascinating. I have tried many restaurants in Porto and in guimares, but this one was the winner. The food is fantastic and the tapas is wonderful ... the environment is warming... Renato (the owner) is a very funny and friendly guy. Simply, the best I tried in Portugal. Will definitely visit him again.

Both the salad and the cod on bread were very tasty and the charming waiter (owner?) was happy to explain how each dish we were interested in would be prepared. The place is very clean and well maintained, i found the chairs a bit uncomfortable but my wife didn't. The place was empty which subtracted a bit from the atmosphere and was not prepared to provide tap water and the bottled water worked out the same price as the beer.

Great location in town with seating available both inside and out. It has a good range of Portuguese dishes and will also serve just drinks too. Hence it's a taverna/pub with friendly and polite staff. Would recommend you visit- opening hours- 10.00 am-3.15pm, then 6.30pm-11.00.

I tried the Francescinha and it was delicious. Other dishes ordered by my friends were also good. What I loved most about this place was the hospitality shown by the owner. He made my friends and I feel very comfortable and he has a good sense of humour.

It is a nice, clean and modern restaurant. I definitely recommend having dinner there. The seats were comfortable and nice too. We had cod fish and ham dish.

We were passing by and appreciated the ‘food is love’ sign and were serviced by the owner. Quite a man (doing all serving by himself)! You have to wait a bit for the good food, but with a friendly word and a joke from the owner, you don’t mind… as the food is good! Fairly priced as well! Small tip to the team, please put some salt and black pepper on the table. Overall: go and have some food at this place.

Absolutely delicious meal! Highly recommend the cow cheek. Outstanding dishes at a reasonable price with good selection of local wine.

Food was a bit mild but otherwise fine. Unfortunately our waiter was trying too hard to be friendly but just came across as rude. A lot of bad jokes and attitude like "I don't work with this or that or we don't cook this way...." Also the waiting time is a bit long if you are in a hurry.

If you ask for Coke Cero they have “Hacendado Cola” for the price of Coca Cola. The attention was fine, only one person for all the restaurant. So in a good condition you should wait 45 minutes. The food was fine too. Prices are better in other places.

The service is wonderful!! Food is tasty and portions are big, the little square is precious by night, highly recommend!
