Big central coffee shop with a lot of great pastry and bakery products. Quick service and average prices. Can get hard to get a table, it's a popular place. This is one of several Padaria Ribeiro places in the Porto region. Recommended for a quick snack/coffee.

Stopped at this Padaria / coffee shop in downtown Maia - we needed a breather and cup of coffee and there wasn't really any other place open around here on a Sunday afternoon...if there was we would have gone there. This place was sleepy and boring just like downtown Maia is on such a day.

Go there quick friendly service next to the train so do it.

I think their croissants are the best I've ever tasted! I heard if you come early enough on a Friday the chocolate croissant is the best else you have to order it the day before for Friday for yourself. The vibe and decor is perfect for a bakery setting. Pity they did not have power plugs else that would be my work station for the day. They make good English cuppachino if you ask, else you get the usual delta portugese cuppachino. Update, went back on 31 Jan, and the carrot cup cake is amazing. Paid €1.3 for it.

Good food, coffee and atmosphere. Good place to go to read a book or newspaper while taking daly coffee. No plugs to charge a computer close to tables.
