During our visit to Porto, we dined at Cúmplice. We had made a reservation by phone a few weeks in advance, and the excellent service started with that first contact. Upon arrival at the restaurant, this level of service continued seamlessly. We were warmly greeted and welcomed with a complimentary drink. They carefully inquired about any allergies, showing great attention to detail. The service was undoubtedly a 10/10. Our special thanks go to Alex for his hospitality and professionalism. The food was also of high quality. We started with two appetizers to share, although one would have been more than enough. For the main course, we each chose a different cut of top-quality meat. It could have been served slightly warmer, but this didn’t detract from the overall experience. Finally, we were pleasantly surprised with an extra complimentary dessert, which perfectly rounded off the evening. Would 100% recommend. Price-quality is top notch.

One word to describe my experience: exquisite. This was the best meal we had in Portugal! Highly recommend to come when visiting Porto. Even though it’s a steakhouse (not your typical Portuguese restaurant or would think of trying when visiting in Portugal) they added a Portuguese twist in it. They gave us a complimentary sangria and bread with different spreads. They are very attentive and make you feel so welcomed. Their steak options do not disappoint and prices are much better than others we’ve been to. The desserts were amazing and we wish we had a bigger stomach to order all. Food presentation was great! We booked this place for dinner before we commenced our Camino Santiago walk. We booked via Whatsapp with the help of lovely Veronica. She took great care to ensure we were looked after well on our arrival. The whole experience from the reservation, to the seating and the food was absolutely fantastic. The steaks were done to perfection and the wine recommendations were perfect. We will be back.

If you are looking for an unforgettable experience, take a step inside Cúmplice. From the moment we entered we were treated as if we were co-owners of the place! We even enjoyed the wait as they prepped our seats. The dining experience left us speechless. The food left us in awe, i can assure you there is nothing on this menu that could disappoint. Each step of the way the experience gets better. I would be doing a disservice if I didn’t mention our server Joana. Joana is the embodiment of a professional in this industry. Every single dish was perfect, from starters to the steaks and even the desserts. Would recommend the steak tartare to start. T -Bone was incredible. We had the desserts with the port pairings which worked well. Staff were very attentive, helpful, spoke better English than me, and made very good recommendations - they knew the wine list very well and advised on the best way to cook specific cuts of steaks. Music and general atmosphere was great. Welcome drink was a nice touch. The best meal I’ve had in a long time, believe the positive reviews.

My partner and I had dinner at this steak house while on holiday in Porto. Their food is absolutely delicious, and the stakes are cooked to perfection. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavour. The pear jam for dessert is a must! We were greeted with a lovely cocktail at our arrival, which is such a nice touch.

Visited on 15/03/2024 (late post!) We went without a booking at 18:00 on a Friday. We were welcomed to a beautiful natural-light-lit-glass-walled dining area with a complimentary cocktail and some bread with spreads. We loved the spreads and the drink a lot. The filet we ordered (2 portions) were one of the best steaks we’ve had! The price is so reasonable for the quality of the food you get. I however thought the peppercorn sauce was too sweet, and the mushroom sauce a bit too strong, and would cover the taste of the beef itself. This steak goes so well with just salt. The green salad was fancy in presentation, and with lots of uncommon ingredients that normal salads have - coriander, radishes and dried carrot fries. Personally I love it but if you don’t like coriander, I’d say avoid that. Overall, this place is “perfect” as the waiter kept saying: “everything has to be perfect”. Since this is a steakhouse I want to say this first: The rump steak was amazing. You will not be disappointed by the quality and the preparation of the meat. Another standout was the Beef Tartar. What I wasn't a big fan of was the cheesecake. In the end it was more berries than cake. Still very good, don't get me wrong, just not something I expected or wanted at the time.

Amazing place! Great palette of flavors that can please everyone! The staff was super nice and caring! Very service oriented. Definitely a must visit in Porto! Will come back. Had a nice chat with Veronica and hearing more about the concept and the goals of the place is making it truly special and worth come back again and again!

We had a lovely dining experience at this restaurant. My husband went for the steak, and it was definitely worth it—cooked to perfection. As a vegetarian, I opted for the tofu, which was tasty, but I do wish they offered more variety. The service was outstanding, with the staff paying attention to every detail and making us feel really welcomed. Everyone was friendly and professional. The only downside is that the prices are on the higher end, but the quality and service make it worth the splurge. A great choice if you’re looking for a special meal!

Everything was excellent! The steak was tender and full of flavor, and the sides like the rice and grilled veggies were delicious. The wine paired perfectly with the meal. The interior is warm and modern, with a cozy atmosphere that made the whole experience even better. Great service too. Highly recommend if you're looking for a quality steakhouse!

Great portion sizes, very tasty, nice calm quiet atmosphere and attentive service. Smoked Burrata was a great twist on traditional ones, and mushroom medley was unexpectedly smooth and light, so didn't ruin appetite for the main. Presentation on the meat plate was exquisite and sides were generous. Dessert cheesecake was exquisitely presented, very light and with different textures. Service was nice and fast, kept the pace throughout the courses. Definitely a nice place for a couple dinner

An absolute gem in the central post of Porto. We were welcomed with a drink and some bread and butter, then we ordered some starters and meat. The starters' portions were generous and tasted delicious, then the mains arrived. The sirloin steak was perfectly cooked, and the picanha was just heavenly! We finished with a delicious chocolate and ice cream dessert and some port wine. The service was amazing, fast and friendly at all times. Absolutely recommended!
