Ordered a burger and received fillet of poor quality. Then tried to make a complaint online and was stopped by McDonald's staff. I have added pictures of the food and conversation with McDonald's trying to resolve this but kept being asked the same question so I don't take my complaint further. Then the conversation was halted by staff trying to hide their unprofessional behaviour. I would like to advise all that McDonald's in Stansted Airport is of low quality food and staff.

Never eat in so can’t comment . But have had a few takeaways. 90% of the time the orders are wrong and just hassle to sort. The quality of the food has plummeted, soggy blackened chips last night , spicy chicken was ok but tons of lettuce and little mayo. Then this morning had a breakfast with hash browns well again poorly made food the hash browns were just overcooked crisps , shattered glass texture thick with grease. The coffee was also bad,tasted burnt to which I can only guess that the machine hasn’t been cleaned properly. Overall won’t use again. An extremely poor performance again and again

This was very busy and the staff were doing their best to keep up. Not on top of keeping restaurant clean, bins full, sauce receptacles empty. Burgers were fresh cooked and tasty. Cheese melts cold and not very melty......

Sam is a wonderful Floor Manager. I observed her mentoring Fred a new hire. It was very impressive. Then we had the opportunity to talk with Sam as she was making her Customer rounds, table by table. We spoke with her outside a are traveling from the states in route to Denmark. Kudos to Sam, the store management and to the employees. Much appreciated. Jim & Linda

Very busy restaurant. Went inside to order food. Chips was soggy and raw. But I needed to find a place to stop which I did. One hour free parking. 24 hours however in the night only drive through no eating inside.

Stopped by to grab a bite. It's a 24 hour Mac Donald's yet the store was closed and the drive through closed too. No staff or signage advising reason for being closed, just ignoring the customers. Very bad service that should not take place

Very fast service. Only took about 2 minutes after ordering. Usually takes 7-22 minutes. I'm wowed. It was quiet today. Not busy (as it is usually busy on a Saturday).

Chips weren't very hot and unsalted. Asked for sauce and was told I had to pay. Got given a small sauce with chicken selects even though you should get a large 1 and was told I had to pay extra for that too! Would not return as the minimum a food establishment can do is provide quality food that is hot when required.

Easy stop after leaving the airport and food was perfect. It was also very clean. Overall a good McDonald's 👍

Unfortunately, it was the worst quality of food I have ever had. The staff from a service point were great but delivered cold frys and a burger, which was in kit form in a crushed box. I would have asked for new or at least hot but couldn't stomach it.

The worst McDonald's I've ever visited. The restaurant is obviously far too small for purpose. The small car park was full for my entire visit. One in one out, on the rare occasion that a space became available. The majority of visitors had to either wait or drive away. Even queuing for the drive-through was down the local roads, angering drivers, who took to driving on the wrong side of the road. The food was fine, but the fries were very bland. I don't think they'd been salted. The restaurant itself was filthy, food all over the floors, dirty tables, and the whole experience was stressful with the cleanliness and pandemonium outside with the wacky races in the car park. This is a busy location being close to the airport, and it's obvious they struggle with the frequency of visitors. I won't be going back, I'd rather drive further to a better location.

Every other things are superb but the toilets and urinal need to increase in numbers. Too many customers much more than these facilities. Thank you very much.

Ordered on drive thru and lady that handed the food to me should not work in customer service. There was no communication from her side, she didn't even greet me and then I asked for bbq sauce, which I always asked for whenever I go to McDonald’s and I was never charged for bbq sauce , curry sauce, ketchup. NEVER . Yet at this store lady said it was 10p which I found strange but I agreed to pay , however she said it had to be cash only which is ridiculous, then I said I would like to pay card to which she said it isn't possible!! What ?? How do you explain that ? If McDonald’s is now charging for their standard sauces, then please you need to be able to accept card payments at collection point, or staff need to ask , would you like sauce as they are now chargeable ? And the fact that the lady was so rude about it, there was no friendliness, no sort of explanation, as example new policy, sorry, absolutely nothing, horrendous customer service.

Sat for 50 mins in drive through - could not escape - unacceptable - can go swivel

On the door step of Stansted Airport. Perfect for quick takeaway after a flight especially a late night one like ours was. The one big downside to this store is the parking. Although there’s ample of parking spaces, they are almost all taken by drivers waiting in their cars with engines running to pick up people off the airport. So if you want to dine in it might be difficult as it was for us at midnight after a delayed flight. Food tasted like an McDonald’s does although the portion of medium fries ordered was more like small portion.

Despite being incredibly busy, one of the quickest drive throughs I've been to. Drive through entrance can be easily missed, especially as the car park is very busy with people looking for spaces. On that note, parking is free for an hour and people quite probably using it as a holding area before picking people up from the airport.

"I found myself within a forest dark, For the straightforward pathway had been lost.".......yes this line from Dantes Inferno just about sums up this hell hole. Horrible atmosphere. Dirty, messy and noisy. Food was thrown together and no napkins.....cant say i ever heard of this. Windows by the front are littered with the carcasses of fallen wasps who were either murdered by the customers in this layer of hell or just gave up on life. Avoid......avoid!!! (Also was not open at 5:00 and staff ignore you....tried calling and no answer.....charming)
