Cannot get in to see a Dr at all despite doing everything advised. I have various different problems at the moment. And it seems the receptionists have gone through some magic training that now qualify them to decide if i get to speak to a Dr or not. I'm a post covid post coma patient and since being on CCU have developed various health issues which i need to discuss with a Dr. The practice is managed poorly and the whole system needs to be reviewed.

Very poor, again, at trying to book an urgent scan. Why is it always the receptionist who gets to overrule 111 & determine what is & isn't urgent. Such a bad practice that I've decided to go private for my treatment.

I'm a very reasonable guy and have given this place the benefit of the doubt before. But not this time. I tried to make an urgent appointment on the phone after calling 20 times and was told there were none available and had a very rude and unprofessional woman on the other end of the phone. She implied that me struggling to breathe was not urgent and that I shouldn't be calling the line. The actual doctors are great if you can get an appointment. It's a shame that such unprofessional workers such as the rude receptionist I encountered today let the place down. I'm sure they are like it with everyone including the elderly and etc. Simply do not go here. I'd be extremely happy for the doctors to go somewhere where their great work is truly appreciated and not tarnished by their unprofessional colleagues. I'd be extremely happy to see this place shut down.

I moved here from another surgery (North Harbour Medical Group) and I'm finally more happy with the care I'm receiving👍🏻 Doctors are usually helpful and kind. Unfortunately, it's nearly impossible to book an appointment. It's also very hard to contact them and you have to be prepared to spend a long time waiting for them to answer your call. They're always telling you to complete the econsult first, but there's very little econsult "appointments" and you can often see a message on their website to try again tomorrow🙄

I just can't get seen. I've had pretty serious pain in recent months and my only option is to have done online consultations. Says they'll get back in 48 hours and took 10 days. In it they basically have me do all the work. I have to go in and collect all the test items, I have to arrange blood tests myself, I have to call the hospital myself and arrange ultrasounds but the number they provided doesn't work and was also told their admin team would call me to get an appointment to be checked over and it's been over a week and nothing. I'm just over it, I'm better off just going to A&E next time the issue arises and cutting out the middle man. I know things have been tough in recent years but this level of service is woeful.

This is not my surgery however after speaking a doctor on the phone they managed to get an urgent appointment at this GP practice, I was seen by Kate Jones, who immediately referred me to the Emergency Department, the care was great there and they booked my taxi for me. It turned out I had a stomach Ulcer and was bleeding internally, I was in hospital from Friday night and got discharged on Tuesday. I'm not sure what would've happened if I wasn't seen to that day, but thanks to Kate for looking after me.

From past appointments the doctors seemed lovely but it's so hard to see one now or even speak to one, its ridiculous. If it's an emergency I expect to be seen or spoken to sooner than a week later! Mental health is one of their weak points as they tell you, you can call for advice and help but when you need them they're never available. Changes need to be made.

Receptionists responsibilities shouldn't be diagnosis. Same with all practices incl the other poor cosham practice. Doctors are hiding to protect their jobs following policy. The diktats upon high are ruining this country.

Does anyone here know what they're doing. Don't do this don't do that . Appalling experience with lack of knowledge. They find reasons why they cannot deliver an effective service. Appalled that I had to give one star

I've been registered af the practice for a year and seen doctors and nurses there a few times at Cosham Park House and Paulsgrove. I'm most impressed, the triage and doctor call back is very good and the practice staff very friendly. The booking-in system is good and the three doctors I've seen were very helpful, thorough and professional. Thankyou.

Worse surgery ever. Been on meds for years, not sure why. No reviews, nothing. I can never get an appointment. Systemonline is useless as well. Just constantly financing the pharmaceutical companies and adding chemicals into my system. I wouldn't even rate it 1 star, but I don't have an option.

No the type of person to complain... but I've called many times but can never get through... I can see based on previous reviews that it is the same for others.

I rang Cosham surgery yesterday at 5-15 I spoke to a lady called Kate, she listened to me and went over and above in helping me, it is not very often we come across anyone today who solves a problem you have so quickly and then say “it’s my job” well done Kate for restoring my faith you are an amazing lady.

The Drs are lovely. Shame you can never see them. Been advised at 4:30 on a Tuesday afternoon, no appointments for a child who has deteriorated since seeing a Dr on Sunday that if child can't wait until 8am the next day, take the child to A&E!! I replied "It is bad earache. The child doesn't need A&E." The receptionist again replied "If it can't wait until 8am tomorrow take them to A&E". I questioned "The child is 4 and has a really bad earache, they needs antibiotics." To be told again "we have no appointments left, take them to A&E". With everyone telling you A&E is for emergency only. Doctors give yourselves and your receptionist a check!!

Please can something be done to provide a better system for getting a doctors appointment/ get advice for ongoing medical conditions.I have been told do an E consult first , have tried now 3 times ( this is only poss from 6.30 pm ) but 3 times now it says ‘they may close the E consult early if their Quota is reached ‘ but have tried at 6.30pm and then again a few minutes later and again but it still says the same … they may close early please try again tomorrow . This is madness…ridiculous… please someone at the practise do something to make it easier to speak to.a doctor get advice if your medication isn’t helping and you need help . To not be able to do an E consult for 3 days when told to do one by surgery staff is crazy .

My daughter has had extremely dry and cracked skin on her lips for months. We have tried the pharmacy, 111, and e-consult and she has tried EVERYTHING, including Hydrocortisone cream that she has been given TWICE, even though she said it doesn't work. We have tried to get a doctors appointment as it is affecting her wellbeing and she just keep being told there aren't any. Asked for an e-consult this morning and the link didn't come until she phoned back. Was then told to phone back at 10 - no appointments. Was told to log on at 7pm, which I did from 6.30 and refreshed, and by the time I completed the booking the appointment had gone! Am I supposed to take her to A & E?

The physiotherapist at cosham park house was absolutely amazing. She was kind and put me at ease due to my anxiety being through the roof. She went above and beyond for me and she actually listened to my story and gave me some advice on how to treat the pain in my hips. However, the gp was meant to sign off on the medication I’m supposed to take until I get referred to the hip specialist. It was meant to be same day as my appointment was 9:15 in the morning, but I waited and rang the doctors and they said that the gp hasn’t even sent it off yet. After crying down the phone explaining how much pain I’m in the other day I would expect him to understand and sign off on the medication that actually works for me. Not just give me tablets that I know do not work. Please fix this, it affects people’s mental health and wellbeing more than you think!!!!

If your going to phone a person to sort out there blood test forms, make sure you actually do it, getting appointments are hard at the best of times let alone turning up at one to be told you can’t have the blood test because they didn’t sort out the paperwork.

I have been a member of this practice for several years now, It is by far the worst practice that I have ever attended and is getting worse! The receptionist are rude unhelpfull and fail to act in a professional manner. The Gp's fail to validate their patients by not listening to them and don't show their patients and empathy or compassion. Patient's do not get seen in a timely manner and have to wait hours on the phone to be told that there are no appointments left. The operation lead lies about patients behavior and accuses patients of behaving in a way that they never sending vunerable patients intimidating letters. The practice has been failling to provide its vulnerable patients with the treatment care and support that they desperately need which is causing patients further health complications and severe emotional distress.

I requested a GMS3 application so I could temporarily register with Cosham Park House surgery. They sent me a form via email but I was unable to fill it out due to it being a PDF. I called surgery and asked if it was OK if I could come down to the surgery and fill in form and they advised that would be fine. I then went down there only to be told that they do NOT temporarily register patients. What was the point of sending me the form and telling me to come down??? Thanks for wasting my time!
