Glenariff forest park is a must see if you're visiting Northern Ireland. It's located just 1 hour drive north of Belfast and is very accessible by car. Arriving at the location I was surprised to see that parking for cars was £5 for the day and even more for vans, luckily when we got there the parking metre wasn't working so we got it for free. There are 3 different walks you can take each ranging in distance from a short 1 km, 3km and 8.9 km. I would recommend the waterfall trail (3km) which takes well under an hour and is a very easy walk although the uphill part is quite steep. On the waterfall trail you get amazing views of the waterfalls and it feels like you're somewhere exotic. Well worth a visit.

Visited 07/03/22 With a bit of sunshine on a clear day the views this place provides are incredible! The car park is £5 which is on the expensive side but you could easily spend the day here. There are multiple trails between 1k and 9k long. There are toilets and picnic tables as well as a cafe/gift shop. Would definitely come back.

Did the Scenic Walk which is 5.5miles or so. Walk starts at the main carpark (which now costs £5 for an all day ticket) following the black arrow way markers. Parts of the walk at the beginning are steep but paths level out, rest of the inclines are more gradual. Moderate fitness levels will find this walk very doable. Absolutely beautiful views from the top, can see for miles. Best views on a clear day. Small benches are situated throughout to have a rest and soak in the scenery. Walk takes approximately 2.5 hours. Well worth doing.

We took the scenic trail and it covers the waterfall trail too. We completed the walk in 3.5 hours as we were stopping everywhere to click photos and also for grabbing wild raspberries, Blueberries and strawberries that grow in the whole route. Tge views are mesmerizing and the walk is completely worth for the beauty it offers.

Fab place to visit - we visited on weekend of Fri 3 June 2022 - Mon 6th and we stayed in the caravan park. Lovely setting with cafe on site near the caravan park. Very colourful in a beautiful setting. Highly recommended... and dont let mention of midges put you off - we hardly noticed them at all. Very good caravan facilities also.

We stopped here to admire the view and have Irish coffee. This was a wonderful surprise to find such a lovely restaurant out in what felt like the middle of nowhere. The park is gorgeous and the trails that we watch on were lovely. The view down the Glen is absolutely gorgeous.

Beautiful spot. Great hike along the waterfalls route with the kids. Plenty of photo opps for photographers. Great in autumn. Good tip is to time it after bad weather as there'll be less footfall, and more water cascading down the waterfalls. Paths are quite narrow around the main waterfall and on this particular day there were people hogging the bridge for a selfie. I imagine it would be worse on a hot day. This is a minor issue however and i thoroughly enjoyed the scenery and the exercise.

The park was great and the forestry was awesome but the signage was terrible. We couldn't actually find the falls which was the main thing we went to see. We didn't eventually uncover them but no thanks to the signs .... and the tea rooms closed at 3:30!

Stunningly beautiful place to visit. Waterfalls, valleys and glens, squirrels and numerous breeds of bird. Lovely walks of various lengths and a great caravan/motorhome site that has everything. Love this place.

A really well laid out and maintained caravan park, A1! The Glen itself is fantastic with walks for everyone, up in to the hills or down in to the Glen. Laragh Lodge at the bottom of the main walk offers refreshments and a meal to fortify you for the hike back up, or you can drive down when you are ready to eat 👍

Beautiful waterfalls but trails are not well labelled. After walking for hours we had to meet a local farmer to get directions to the waterfalls which were only a couple of minutes away from the parking.

A fantastic visitors site that is free to public and only £5 car parking fee. Lots of amazing scenic views including 2 waterfalls. Which may not be clearly shown on maps. The cafe and shop are friendly. However, not all items are clearly marked and need to check carefully when paying.

The scenic walk is probably my favourite walk in NI. It's fairly long (takes me a bit over 2 hours) and steep but the views are so worth it! The walk to the waterfall is also really nice and much shorter and easier. Even the view from the carpark/picnic area is lively if you just wanted to take a picnic lunch/watch the view.

First time here and we loved it carpark is £5 for all day parking. We took the Waterfall trail first which was 2 miles stunning scenery . Then had. Lunch there is a cafe which a good selection and reasonably priced. Toilets available too. After lunch we decided to the scenic trial which was 5 miles which definitely got the heart pumping but was worth it. We just wore trainers today because it was dry. It was so peaceful and tranquil definitely worth a visit. And lastly which I forgot to mention there's a bar called lagan's Lodge at the end of the Waterfall trail which was a surprise they also do but unfortunately didn't get to try.

Beautiful park to walk around or have a picnic. Cute little Cafe has coffee and tea and the best scones we have ever had. 💖 Picnic tables there. Very nice gift shop for adorable souvenirs. Nice walking paths. We went on a clear day and could see Scotland.

Only did the waterfall trail and it was awe-inspiring. Had a sneak peek of the scenic trail, you'd want to bask in the beauty of God's beautiful creation.

The sound of water is so good for the soul as you walk along a well maintained boardwalk to a restaurant at the bottom. We grabbed a beer before we headed back up to enjoy the views from the top.

A few signposted paths around the forest and some waterfalls. We did the Scenic Route - 5miles of path with some steep parts. A nice walk, but take some bug spray. Nice café with hot food and drinks. Plenty of parking space, costs £5 as of July 2023.

We love Glenariff Forest Park, it is such a beautiful 🤩 spot especially to walk the dog as he gets lots of freedom. We thoroughly enjoy taking time out in nature here. I'd highly recommend this walk if you're in the area, we travel about an hour to get here as it is spectacular

(Translated by Google) Very pleasant walk. Among the proposed trails, we did the Waterfalls Walk. Very well laid out site for a very pleasant walk. We did the complete loop but only the first half is interesting. It's best to turn around once you get to a building.

Some scenic walks through this park. A lot of hills up and down to keep you active. Amazing waterfalls along the way. plenty of parking and maybe 8-10 picnic tables. They have a caravan park there as well but I don't lnowuch about that. Public toilets clean wich is always a bonous. Coffee shop a little expensive, £2.35 for a small coffee. Better to bring your own!

Beautiful walk the waterfall is something else and people where having a dip in the water also, would advise to park at the bottom for anyone who struggles with uphill walks wouldn't be easy. The people are very friendly you can relax with tea and scone or even a beer at the bottom before making the journey back up to the main carpark.

There are simply not enough stars for this place! We settled into a lovely cafe where we were served such a delightful cobbler and piping hot tea! The kitchen staff were incredibly sweet and the most lovely hostesses! I dream about that rhubarb cobbler! We were also able to get a wonderful little hike in during our stay. You simply must visit this brilliant site if only for the amazing coastal views and peaceful tranquility! There is a gift shop with beautiful and very reasonably priced Gaelic gifts.

(Translated by Google) Very nice area and well-developed hiking trails. Unfortunately, the signs are flawed which makes it quite difficult to find the right trail. Parking and dining areas are clean and well maintained. The cafe and the gift shop are a bit old and a bit run down. Staff but very friendly. (Original) Sehr schöne Gegend und gut ausgebaute Wanderwege. Leider ist die Beschilderung mangelhaft was es doch recht schwierig macht den richtigen Wanderweg zu finden.
