Superb! Amazing ice cream with incredible customer service. On arrival Dominic already offered us filtered water (a basic but unfortunately uncommon in Portugal). The tasting is assisted also, when you're told all the details from each flavour, and he also recommends what to mix (you can even mix 2 for one ball). Well, of course the best part was having the ice cream, that is delicious and I already plan on coming back for more. We ended staying until the place was closing, with time going so fast with all the pleasures that it was. And oh yes, for the coffee lovers, you can also come to have some good ones (I'll still try on Saturday as it opens earlier 10am). Best in town, for sure!

Definitely worth it! Extraordinary and cool place. Very delicious ice cream with 3-5 vegan options. You will try every ice cream before ordering a cup with your favorite ones, this is an amazing concept! They care a lot about taste and origin of ingredients. The espresso has a great taste and flavor too, so I recommend this place for a coffee and ice cream.

This ice cream shop is definitely a must visit in Faro! The owner was super friendly and polite, he explained us the newly created flavour by himself and how gelato was created. We ordered honey and peanut flavour, the peanut texture inside is perfect!!!! Orange flavour is also very refreshing, he said it’s made from local oranges. Everyone should try the gelato here!!!

Amazing selection of vegan ice-cream flavours! At least 8 different options. Staff were wonderful, and let us try a few flavours before buying. Amazing prices for some big scoops of ice-cream. We had mojito (which was to die for), melon, passion fruit and strawberry, which were all delicious. Highly recommended!!

One of the best ice creams I had, great flavours specially the nuts like pistachio and almond that tasted really good and the texture is from proper ice creams, the service was also very good, to repeat for sure to try other flavours since they are always coming with new ones

This place has three things: fantastic self-made ice cream, nice coffee (they also give you iced coffee!) and a super kind owner. Plus the design of the shop is beautiful. All in all totally worth a visit when in Faro!!!

Absolutely phenomenal ice cream. Proper ice cream. Exceptionally crafted and brilliantly balanced flavours. Wonderful service too. The ginger and hibiscus flavour especially good. The best you could find in Faro/Portugal!

About 10 to 15 types of ice. Many vegan options. Had peanut caramel and orange sorbet. Both tasted great, the peanut caramel was amazing! Best peanut ice cream I had so far. Price also fair. 3,80 for 2 scoops Recommended.

Best ice cream I have ever had in a very long time, and best of Faro for sure. Home made, bio and some are also vegan. We went there a few times with some friends and appart from the ice-cream, the waffles and cheesecake are also amazing! The owner is super kind and friendly and just wants to share his passion for gastronomy!

The owner explained to us that “making gelato isn’t hard. It’s just all about the ingredients.” And his commitment to that shows through in the care he puts into the gelato, which he makes himself. The flavors are unique and delightful (although he has the standards too). The coffee is also top-notch, not too bitter and not too acidic. Served in unique pottery from local artisans, each one different than the other. And of course, the service is top notch. You can try as many samples as you would like, and hear all about the inspiration behind them and the shop — including the owner’s engineer brother who quit to become a gelato maker. Thank you for the great experience and keep up the great work!

Amazing place with good spirit! They have a lot of vegan flavours of ice cream. What's more you can taste them before choosing. Staff (a charming man who speaks English very well) was really involved in telling us about flavours and tasting. I ordered espresso and he informed me even what type of coffee beans I was going to drink. Coffee was served in a delightful little cup. Ice cream was delicious of course. I love this place. If you are vegan or support vegan spots, definitely you should visit Gula :)

Such a great ice cream place! We had the salted caramel, cantaloupe, white chocolate, pineapple mint and hazelnut flavours and they were all delicious! Super kind seller as well. You can taste each flavour before buying it. I'd definitely come back if we had stayed in Faro one more day... :)

Absolutely the best ice cream and gelato we have had in both southern Portugal and southern Spain. Also the coffee was unbelievable! This place is amazing. I didn’t get chance to try the sangria but I imagine it’s brilliant also. Do not go anywhere else!
