Arrived here back in May 2019 on our Spain-Portugal-motorbike tour. Great place with a fantastic view of the Duero river and valleys. We were 3 guys arriving with motorbikes and we got a nice welcome with fresh Rosê wine from the owner. Very good service.

This place was amazing, the view was even better than on the pictures and the breakfast room was cozy. I would recommend this to everyone looking to stay here!

A paradise. The host is so nice and kind, the room is small but functional, however the best part is - without any doubts - the gorgeous view, both from the room and from the pool. This place is one of the best location I ever been in my life.

Stayed for 2 nights at their place. We were a group of 14 people and a baby, and reserved 8 rooms. We couldn’t ask for more than what they gave us. The rooms were clean and comfortable and breakfast was delicious. But more than that, the hosts are amazing people!They helped us with everything we needed and gave us great recommendations for places to go. I also think that their place has the best view in the valley!

What a wonderful lady Mrs. Elisa and her beautiful cat Mia as well as the two sweet rescue dogs. It's wonderful to see someone really care about there guest, you fee like you come home. Exceptional place shame we didn't have enough time. We try to come back! I recommend to visit to anyone. Thank you and all the best.

First and foremost, the location/view of this hotel on the Douro River is phenomenal. Located on a bend on the river it offers an unobstructed view of the Douro River in both directions from your room and pool area that can not be beat. Absolutely magnificent!! The rooms, like most rooms in Europe, are a bit on the smallish side, but are modern and well equipped. The pool is located in the perfect location on the property to offer stunning views of the Douro. This, alone, is worth the price of the hotel. The location is about 10 minutes by car from Regua, 30 from Lemago, 45 from Pinhao and 30-45 from all the best vineyards in the area making it perfectly located. The included breakfast is top notch in a clean and organized dining room. Lastly, and most importantly, Marie and Phillip (the owners) were the most gracious and informative hosts anyone could ask for. Booked this hotel without any prior information and am extreme happy. A++++++++

Great place to stay! The owners, the views, everything was great!

The hosts are extremely nice and attentive people! They give directions on how to get here and where you want to go. They also give recommendations of places to visit and things to do and where to eat. The bedrooms are extremely modern. There's parking and internet. There's clean towels, a nice bathroom. The breakfast is quite decent, with coffee, milk, tea, bread which can be toasted, butter, an assortment of jams, a pastry or two, yoghurts, cereal and fruit. There's a pool and a jacuzzi. As an added bonus, there's an extremely sweet dog on the premises which will sometimes pay you a visit.

Liked · We liked it so very much! The view is amazing, location is perfect to access every important point in the Douro Valley area but was in a place that you feel that you are in the middle of the mountains. Best of both worlds! Alice, the manager was a lovely person and helped us with good tips from the region! The pool itself was the best part, and since this was not enough, they have a hot water jacuzzi with a view from the river and the valley! Would definitely go back!

"Spectacular View" says it all! This guesthouse on the side of a cliff overlooking the Douro Valley is wonderful. You can sit on your balcony or by the pool and get lost in the beauty. The rooms are modern and comfortable. The breakfast is excellent. The hosts Marie and Philip are extremely helpful and friendly. Marie answered all of our questions ahead of our stay by email. Philip greeted us warmly and led us to a very nice restaurant for lunch on our arrival. He brought bread and olive oil to us as we sat by the pool and made reservations for our dinner when we couldn't get a call through. The place is a bit hard to find since there is no sign and only an opening in a wall which you have to turn into. Highly recommended!

We spontaneously booked a two-night stay and frankly, it exceeded our expectations by 5000%. Not only were the guests super friendly, accommodated to our needs and provided us with tips on what to do; no. We really felt like family from the very start. Also, the breakfast was amazing with self-made cake that was still warm. The view from the infinity pool is truly stunning and one of my highlights was my nap in the living room with their cat napping on me. Can't wait to come back sometime soon. Definitely recommend this to any other human being out there!
