This French restaurant in the heart of Almancil is a real gem ! Sincerely , one of the best fish plates (Le Maigre) I have had in Portugal and one of the best deserts (Crème à la fureur d’oranger) . Will definitely be coming back .

Excellent addition to the local area desperately in need of the culinary skills. The menu is small but very well executed, and it seems like it changes on a regular basis. We had the foie gras and ceviche as starters. The sauce on the ceviche was very morish. The chutney with the foie gras was excellent, though it wouldn't have hurt to decorate the plate a touch more. As mains we had the duck magret with orange sauce and the octopus with chimichurri. Both were delicious and well sized. Service was attentive and well paced. We'll definitely be back!

Absolutely delicious food (halleluja for the merengue dessert, but all of it was 10/10) Also the most kind & passionate staff!

The booking was simple the restaurant is elegant casual and spacious and the service was attentive personal and informative. The front of house owner told us they had just opened one week ago but these people know what they are doing and are extremely professional and have already established a high standard. All of the food was absolutely delicious and if we had any criticism it might be that the starters were a little too large ! The pricing is very reasonable for the quality on offer. We highly recommend L’Alma and wish them every success for the future. We will return many times for sure and plan to recommend them fully to friends and family Concepta and Matthew BEHAN 22 February 2023
