Very nice experience and great beers. The owner was very welcoming, showed the brewery and was clearly passionate about the beers. The delicious beers can be bought for a great price, among the best craft beers in Portugal for sure. I especially enjoyed the Piri Piri Pilsner. All in all, a great place to visit!

A must-visit place for a beer geek! Very kind staff would guide you through the brewery, patiently answer all your questions concerning their beers and their manufacturing process, and finally offer you a degustation. Very good beers, i.a., accidentally "smoked" Weiss Bier 😉 and quite unique Piri-piri Pilsner. Moreover, the owner himself would happily advise you on some other interesting places to visit during your stay in Portugal! 😄

Amazing experience and outstanding brewery! We were just working our way back to the Algarve from Spain when we decided to stop by this establishment to have a taste of their beer. The owner Gary was ever so inviting! Craft beers are a tad harder to find in Portugal as Super Bock tends to run the game of distribution. Not only does Algarve Rock Brewery make delicious beers for Portugal, but it competes with many we've tried across the globe. The owner shared tastings of beers he had in shop and then gave us additional locations we could find their beers in stores. My husband went "bananas" for the Weiss and I am obsessed with the Piri Piri Pilsner. A spicy beverage in a location rare for craft beers? Amazing! We most definitely recommend anyone to visit this brewery if you are staying in or passing through Faro. And if not, find their beer in Baptista, Spar or Apolonia stores in Lagos. Absolutely delicious! 🍻👍

Best beer in the Algarve!! (Perhaps the world...) go visit their brewery for a tasting if you can

We came here when visiting Faro. It was only a €2.50 bus ride from Faro. Don't be fooled by the industrial estate- follow Google maps and you'll get there! It's a lovely taproom with a variety of beers. We got the tasting flight of 4 beers and Paul talked us through them all to make sure we made the right choice! Any beer which is not draft can be bought in a can. Really recommend a trip if you're in the area, it's a hidden gem! Thanks for a lovely afternoon.

Great beers, especially the peri peri beer. The barman Paul is friendly and gave us lots of information and recommended we come back the next day for the burger, beers and band night that they do on the first Friday of the month. We went back and had a great night. I 100% recommend you give this place a try if you like craft beers!

Best craft brewery in the area! Best road-trip stop we could’ve done on our way to Lisbon. Paul was an amazing host and the beer was delicious! Tried the summer ale, Gose and DIPA, refreshing! Can’t wait to try their barrel aged options. Definitely recommend, get your craft beer on!

Great experience. Tour with Paul, started off with one of their beers (Raspberry gose was my favourite) talked about their brewing process along with a tour of each area. Ended with tasting some barrel aged beers which were absolutely delicious and buying a few beers along with some complimentary hard seltzers too. Really glad we came here. Heading to their live music event tomorrow evening which we can't wait for!

Great place! We tried Summer Ale, Special IPA, Raspberry Gose, Red Rye Special IPA, Weekend at Tinos and Big Bash Fruit Sour. Liked all of them. Nice place to spend a chill afternoon with chilled beers! Not a pub rather a traditional craft brewery. Highly recommend!

First brewery that we visited in Portugal. Paul is a good guy who explains everything very well. Good beer for a fair price. You can drink in the middle of the brewing kettles.

Visited the brewery and had a very nice creamy, balanced, juicy and citrusy IPA. Also their Weekends@Tinos was excellent. No different from those in Boston iykyk. + the staff was super friendly 👌😄

Best place in Faro for a fantastic pint of IPA or other spectacular beers, Paul, Darren, Marianna and Daniells put the rock in Algarve Rock.... normally live music first Friday night or the month!

Algarve Rock brewery tour is a great tour to do. They have great beer and explain the process very well. The tour guide is very knowledgeable and kept everyone engaged. I would 100% recommend on a hot or rainy day.

Sept'22: Ordered a selection of craft beers online before our vacation. On the day of our arrival Algarve Rock had the order delivered to our hotel in Olhão. They even added some replacements for beers that were out of stock. This year we will definitely make time to visit the brewery, meet Paul in person and stock up on craft beers for the duration of our stay. Good beers, great service, 100% recommended!

Only a 5€ Uber ride from town. Nice to have a really good craft beer. Had a flight - Summer Ale, Piri Piri Pilsner, raspberry Gose and Tino's NEIPA and really enjoyed all of them. I have never liked a Gose as much as this one before! Try it, you won't regret it

So exciting to find a craft beer in Faro! And they make seltzer too! Wonderful atmosphere with open garage doors and modern design. We showed up right before closing but we’re offered friendly service none the less.Paul was super knowledgeable about the beers. Highly recommend the Red Rye IPA and the Gose.

Had a great couple of hours here both sampling the beers and having the brewery tour with Paul who was an exceeding good host and tour guide. Algarve Rock Brewery have a great selection of beers an we wish them every success ib their business.

Authentic, refreshing craft beer just a hop, skip and a pint from the Algarve coast - what's not to love? We were staying in Faro and hopped on a short bus out to the Brewery (even quicker by car/Uber). The service at the brewery taproom was great and the beers explained in good detail. They offered a tasting flight for only 5€ and we were even allowed to try a special addition stout straight from the barrel! They had drinks to cater for all tastes, from pilsners and IPAs to sours and even hard seltzers. My personal favourite was the 'Third Rock from the Sun' double IPA. I would highly recommend giving this place a visit to anyone in the Algarve area looking to drink something better than Super Bock or Sagres.

Everyone should visit the Algarve Rock brewery! The staff are so welcoming and friendly - they gave us a tour of the brewery and explained the process to us! They were very patient and were happy to answer all our questions! They couldn’t have been nicer and the beer is amazing - they have a range of beers so there’s something for everyone! As one of the few craft beer breweries in Portugal this place is a must visit for anyone in Portugal!

Spent a few hours here during our time at Faro. Definitely recommend checking it out while in Portugal. Great environment and amazing beers. Paul served us and gave us a detailed description of the beers and their processes. I recommend trying the German Weissbier and DIPA!! I’ll be waiting for the day it comes to the USA!

Fantastic range of beers, stouts and seltzers, definitely something for every palate. We had a great time sampling the different beers and came away with as much as we could carry. Paul was really friendly and informative. We bought directly from them but also available in Apolonia and ask in local bars too. So happy to find decent beer on the Algarve! And the seltzers are an excellent option for non beer drinkers. Thanks Paul, we'll be back soon to restock!

Great brewery with a nice selection of beers. Their west coast style IPA is tasty. Very friendly! They also have some special barrel aged stouts which were really good. There is a series of three: Jack Daniels barrel, Wild Turkey barrel, and a barrel used for Glenmange and Port wine. Unique flavors. The tap room has an open feel with lots of seating available. There is a large parking lot (free).
